From out of state. Had an emergency. Emergency room staff, Dr Adducci and the 3rd floor staff were the best! Nurse Andrew and Nurse Jill on the 3rd floor were excellent! I appreciate everything they did to make me comfortable! Thank you all!

Only to get emergency care for your heart problem cut your chest open then they will help. Drs. Here look at you and want you either to die or walkout with the problem came in with. Had to go to a small town in Minnesota .

They’re absolutely amazing had our first baby, Nurse Atlanta, And Nurse Teresa were outstanding so helpful, super nice, made it so easy for us as new parents, and took so much of the stress and worry away! Would highly recommend them for a raise! Will definitely be coming here for any more baby’s or issues we have Thank you so much!

My elderly mother has been in and out of the hospital several times over the past few years, most times admitted through ER. I can't say enough about the hospital staff. They are kind, competent and willing to help in any way. I am especially thankful for Dr. Kindelspire for listening to my concerns and being willing to work with our family. Additionally, the hospital has the best food I've had in a hospital. You're in very good hands at Prairie Lakes.

Cannot trust them. Very very shady practice, they'll send you through a barrage of unnecessary tests, then never get back to you. The first you will hear from them will be an outrageous bill. Very unhappy.

Is there a negative option for rating? I was involved in a motorcycle accident not wearing a helmet hit the road with my head going 35mph -40 mph. They didn't seem to be worried about head trauma at all. Basically looked me over out the door. take some aspirin and ibuprofen best of luck.....Had road rash on my face hands arms elbows .....

Went here hoping for appropriate/empathetic care as I am a college student away from home. Staff seemed to not care that I wasn’t feeling well and proceeded to do their paperwork on the computer instead of tending to me. Staff also told me that they could do an influenza test but that it was very expensive and they wouldn’t suggest it since they thought it was just a cold. They provided no care for me and sent me home. They said nothing about hoping I feel better soon.. I’ve had friends tell me that the doctors and nurses just want to get me in and get me out for a pay check.

Went to the ER with severe abdominal pain, they did exray and CT scan. Said you're full of poop. Gave me pain meds and sent me home. Back in the ER 8hrs later, still in severe pain. Again they gave pain meds and sent home. 6hrs later went to the Milbank Hospital still in severe pain and vomiting. Dr. There took one look at the CT scan Watertown had done and admitted me with small bowel blockage. We will never go back to the Watertown hospital! We make sure to let any of our family and friends know about the substandard care at the Watertown hospital!!

Can I give zero stars? I just moved here from a different state so everything is still kind of chaotic for me and the last thing I want to have to do is go to an appointment but I need to.. So I call and seriously THEE rudest scheduler I have ever spoken to in my life. What a way to make me feel unwelcome. Doesn't look like the first bad review either. What a joke.

The obsetrics and entire labor and delivery department alone is 5 star hands down! Thee best care team and overall experience during both deliveries. The ER experience wasn’t the best, but they were quick to get more specialized care for our daughter, and kept her stable until we got her on an AirMed plane.

We sat in the waiting room for 35 minutes then they took us to a room and a couple of nurses came and did and EKG & took blood pressure they left and about 10 minutes or so the doctor came. He was like a stone guy moving, The SX FS VA Clinic sent them a list of thing that was wrong with my husband, they pretty much ignored it. The DR Erickson (I use doctor for him loosely) his name tag said doctor. He came in and said you are having problem with your eye so we explain it all to him but he kept saying you have a problem with your eye. Finally got it in his head that my husband has a blocked artery in his neck 90 to 95 blocked and he was to call the 2 hospitals in SX FS to see which one he could get in the fasts. He told us he was only making 1 call, so he left and we waited in the room about 10 to 15 minutes I went out and told them we were leaving and them the doctor came to talk to me (I guess he had made the call) he should of came in and told us he did. After about 2 1/2 hours we were done and they didn't do anything. As far as my thinking go he made it thru school but couldn't be any were else so he comes to the ER. If he is the doctor on call we will not be stopping in this ER. Other people have said that the ER was not any good. I am staring to believe them. Get better doctors in the ER.

My dad was a patient in the ER about 3 yrs ago I do believe ,I might be wrong.i wanted to go back when they took him back and the lady at the desk said if the Dr wants you he will come and get you if it's important.im not the least bit happy.i also have had friends bring there kids into the ER and they say it's something without running test or it's a cold take them home and they take there kids to a different ER and they get the right diagnosis and her little girl was addmitted .I hate this er

Have not once had a single visit here where I felt satisfied with care. Horrible. So I started asking around, and no one had a single good thing to say about the Watertown ER. Everyone I know now goes to Brookings or Sioux Falls for care.
