I would have liked to do business local with Kershaw County, but today 9/19/18 I had an appointment which was scheduled by my primary care doctors office. I had the voice mail which stated the appointment date time and when to arrive , location, doctor and to bring my x ray. I arrived early, signed in and waited approximately 20 minutes and was called to the desk. I was advised that I did not have an appointment until next week and not with Dr. Joseph. I read my voice mail to the clerk at the desk. I was advised that Dr. Joseph was double booked and could not see me today and that I could see another doctor or wait on my appointment next week. I am glad my pain was not an emergency, but my time is precious and valuable too. I instructed the clerk to cancel my appointment for next week, that I would get a referral for Moore Orthopedic in Columbia. This is the first review I have ever written and no way would I want to hurt a doctor or his business. My concern is I have waited for this appointment and to be told they are double booked. So glad this was not an emergency!

I had two foot surgeries by Dr. Joseph. Neither surgery relieved my pain. I had a prior surgery by another surgeon and it relieved my pain for over 20 years. When I told Dr. Joseph my foot was still in pain after the second surgery, he told me an amputation would be my next option. As you can imagine I never saw him again. He never told me, I would be on pain medication and have nerve pain for the rest of my life. I would never go back to see him nor would I ever recommend him.

I first met Dr Thomas Joseph a year ago. He took the time to listen carefully to me. He made recommendations for me and I must admit his plan was spot on. I am extremely happy wth the results! I recommend Dr Thomas Joseph without reservation.

I cannot speak for the other physicans in this practice but I saw Dr. Joseph. It was by far the worst experience i have had. He was extremely rude and would not listen to how my injury even happened. He should remember "first do no harm", that includes how you emotionally treat your patients.
