Dr. Knepper at SFM is the greatest. I just wish the office ran better, it used to. I'm not sure what happened about 12 to 18 months ago. I won't go into a lot of detail but communication with patients hasn't been the same. Their voicemail says that scripts will be called in unless otherwise notified. That hasn't been the case recently. I would appreciate it if someone would take notice.

Dr. Napper is awesome, but his staff is slightly inadequate. We (my husband/patient and I) were referred to a cardiologist, but when we arrived for our appointment the EKG, last patient note, and patient packet were not sent over. So after the referring office could'nt reach anyone we called Seewee and were told by the front desk that Dr. Napper's nurse's phone does not work, but she would give her the message when pressed about the urgency of the matter she stated she did not know when the information would be sent and hung up abruptly. I called back a few minutes later and was told it was being sent. I specifically asked if she needed the fax number and she boldly stated it's going to Dr. Siccone right at Roper. I said yes and she said we have the information. The referred office's staff kept checking, but nothing came. They went ahead and performed another EKG even though we had one done less than two days ago with Dr. Napper. Then she called back and found out they had faxed it to the wrong number. Very inept staff, wish I had gotten her name. So now an appointment that should have been a quick consultation has taken an hour!!!

This is the most terrible medical practice I have ever encountered in my life time. Office staff is verbally abusive, unprofessional and extremely rude over the phone & in person. How they are even allowed to operate as a medical practice legally baffles me. A veterinarian could provide better medical service for people than these idiots.

I went for the 1st time ever today and had such a very good experience! I actually waited a few weeks before seeing anyone because I had so much anxiety and felt really embarrassed about why I needed to see a doctor. But I didn't have to worry at all! Dr. DeCastro was extremely professional and kind. I immediately felt at ease, and I also really liked that she took the time to talk to me and listen. She also took the time afterwards to explain things to me and didn't rush or treat me like I was just the next person on her list of people to see, which I really appreciated.

My wife went to see Dr De Castro, referred by her PCP Dr Alexander. She provided all pertinent identity info including a birthdate, SSN for Medicare insurance, license & medical records. She asked only that her license not be scanned due to past idenity fraud problems. She was then refused treatment & asked by the office mgr to leave! How shameful & disgraceful is that? The way the front desk treats people is usually reflective of how patients can expect to be treated by the Drs who hired them. Because her PCP had moved out of town my wife had many scripts that were about to run out & no other Dr lined up. Scripts where you shouldn't abruptly stop talking them which caused her alot of undue stress. There's no law that requires copies be made of photo IDs. What's asked for is at the decretion of the provider & the information was enough to positively identitfy her. It was certainly more than enough for someone else to steal her identity...again. She had been advised to be very cautious especially with private practices & schools where it occurs most often.

My whole family has seen Dr. Knepper for years and we absolutely love the office. He and the staff are wonderful. Melissa and Riley are always very helpful and sweet at the front desk and Debby is awesome and caring when assisting in the back. I would and do refer everyone to Sewee Family Medicine!

I've been going to Dr. Knepper for at least five years. He is always very attentive and personable, and you can tell that he genuinely cares. If there is an issue or illness that needs to be talked through or discussed, he has always taken as much time as I need. I feel very comfortable there, and give Dr. Knepper my highest recommendation.

Unfortunately this medical practice has deteriorated over the 7+ years that I've been going there. The front office is often non-responsive, inefficient and has little regard for client and customer service. Dr. Knepper and his associates have lost their way in understanding the core concept of what a family physician should be. They have bought in completely to the 'cold' impersonal way of medicine that the practices owners, Tenet Healthcare, have dictated. I cannot recommend this practice anymore, both for the quality of medical service and for the lack of client and customer service. What a shame. It's pitiful to see what has happened over the years and the deterioration of this practice.

Dr. Knepper has been my primary care physician since moving to Mount Pleasant. His office is convenient located near my home and is easy to access, his staff is always kind and prompt, and he has a great demeanor and desire to help improve health. He was willing to work with me on my high blood pressure and gave me a routine and time to naturally reduce my metrics. This ensured that I didn't need to go on medicine. He has also seen all of my kids and does well with patients of all ages. I couldn't be any happier with my family physician. I had the good fortune of being treated by Dr. DeCastro earlier this year when I came down with the flu. She followed up with me after a few days of meds to ensure I was getting better, and even made some modifications to my treatment. This office is wonderful.

If you want to be treated like a number in a 15 minute mechanical diagnostic, If you want to sit for 30 to 40 minutes in a room before your cursory examination, If you want to be turned away from a scheduled visit because you a JUST 10 minutes late, If you want to beg for a prescription refill then SEEWEE Family Medicine is for you.

I'm a new patient. Booking an appointment was SUPER easy. I made my appointment with Dr. DeCastro at 10pm the night before on ZocDoc. Wait time was less than 10 min. And Dr. DeCastro was awesome. She took her time and got to know me as a patient and shared options for contacting her if I had additional concerns or symptoms. I've never met a doctor with better bedside manner. This will be my practice moving forward.
