Great doctor! My son has been seeing Dr. Mendes for 20 months now for GHD. At 14 years old, we were first seen by an endocrinologist in Atlanta who refused to test my child for GHD. After being monitored for several months with no answers, we found looked for a second opinion and found Dr. Mendes. She immediately tested my child and got him the treatment he needed. He has grown over 7 inches and has gained close to 40 lbs. She was able to get him the help he needed to grow. She is the most caring and compassionate doctor that I have ever met!
