Our kids had their first visit today and it went so well!! All of the staff is incredibly friendly and caring. We are so lucky to have found your office and very grateful for the recommendation we received from others to go here as well!! Update: Both of my kids have had additional procedures and each time the hygienists, assistants, and Dr. Ryan have been awesome. They took special care to explain everything to them in kid friendly ways to ease their fears, “cleaned” my daughter’s baby doll’s teeth while she was waiting for hers to be finished, etc.

I started bringing my kids here and they used to hate going to the dentist but after first visits they where always happy to come back! They always looked forward to the surprise at the end of the visit. They're very kid friendly! While they are laying down getting their teeth cleaned they're watching their favorite Netflix show! Tv is on top of the ceiling!!!! If that's not luxury I don't know what is! They let them wear really cool sun glasses while cleanings. After visit they allow them to pick out a toy from the treasure box and they keep it full so prepare for the hour wait on the kids digging! It's the kids decision that takes the hour lol. Bathroom squeaky clean. Waiting room as well full of kids books and play area. Employees are super friendly and awesome with service. Love love love the staff! Never had any issue they're so sweet and professional!

THIS IS THE BEST DENTIST IN MYRTLE BEACH!!! Dr. Ryan is great. The Bathrooms are good, clean, and supplies are in there! The staff is great! You child may need to go there!

He is usually kind of scared of Stuff like this but NOT once was he afraid all because of them. The cleanings are always fun for him too because he loves Ms. Jenn! Today was my 2 year old daughters very first visit. She did absolutely wonderful thanks to the two young ladies who laughed and played with her while cleaning her teeth. I called to schedule an appointment the call went well up until i was asked if we had insurance. I replied yes medicaid. The receptionist then replied we will not be taking any patients with that insurance at this time. So i said so because i have medicaid you wont accept my boys? She then corrected herself and said we are booked until the end of the year for any kind of insurance. Funny how the call was going well until i was told they are not accepting patients with medicaid at this time. Unfortunately she was just doing her job. Fortunately I have place to voice my opinion.

If you don't mind waiting an hour for each visit (3 years of this!) or not having a chair to sit in at times because of the number of appointments that show up, then this is the place for you. Thumbs Down Sawgrass!

I just called to schedule a appointment for my daughter. I would have been a new patient. When I was asked what insurance she had receptionist stated "we do not accept that insurance at this time" I then stated "ok, thats fine could I still schedule a appointment for a cleaning and pay cash?" I was told "No" very rudely. My daughter had open heart surgery at 10 months old and is on Straight Medicaid because of heart condition. I was not even given the opportunity to disclose this because of how rushed off the phone I was. Very disappointed as I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this dentist office. Very very upset at how this was just handled.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sawgrass. The kids were typically nervous before and during previous dental trips and this time they had no issues. Sawgrass made sure every detail was covered so that the children and the parents every need was taken care of. From coffee in the waiting room to TV's above the dental stations to keep the kids occupied. The staff were extremely friendly and spoke to the children at their level making them apart of their visit. We highly recommend Sawgrass for your child's pediatric dental needs.

We had a great first visit to Sawgrass today! The staff was very friendly and patient with my little ones. The office is perfect for kids with the TVs on ceilings, treasure chest, and lots of other fun details. I was blown away at how quickly they saw us and how fast the appointment went. They have a great system and didn’t even blink an eye at my almost 3 year old screaming and not cooperating during check up. They were total pros. :)

Over the last few years I have had terrible experiences at Sawgrass. The person behind the counter that you deal with most of the time is EXTREMELY rude! I work with the general public and I know it can be hard at times, That being stated, if I treated customers the way she does I would have been fired a long time ago. She has a bad attitude and acts like she is doing you a favor just to speak to you. Also, Sawgrass will change your appointment times without telling you until the last moment. They will change the time, then call you to say that it has been changed. If you have already taken off work, or had to pay someone to watch your other kids then you have wasted your time and money. Finally, please make sure you check behind their work. If they say they have done something check to make sure they have actually done it. At the end of the day I felt like just another person, just another dollar. No real care or attention. Don't bother trying to make a Facebook review because if they do not like it they will just delete it. If you like wasting time and money and not being treated in a kind manner then this is the place for you. They do not even deserve one star.

Fantastic place. First time there with my 11 year old daughter who fell and chipped her tooth. Got us in that morning and we walked out by 10:30 am. Great staff and great Dentist. Highly recommend, so much so we are taking our twin boys there from now on.And they take our insurance

Such a sweet practice from the Doctor, to the technicians all the way to check in and check out! Through and through such a great experience. My daughter fractured her molar and they were able to get her in the same day. Julie cleaned my daughter’s teeth so gentle my daughter wasn’t sore or complained at all. She was endearing, loving and willing to explain all!!! My family will definitely be long term patients!! Thank you again
