Dr. Castellone is the most knowledgeable, caring and gifted doctor I've ever known (I've seen my share). His personable bedside manner, skill to "see the big picture" and professionalism, coupled with his endless energy, consistently delivers an excellent, full scale medical service that is second to none! Dr. Castellone sincerely cares about YOU, as his patient, and that fact is reinforced in every aspect of his services (one-on-one patient care, state of the art medical records system, network of specialists, professional office staff, PA's and nurses etc.) . I cannot recommend him highly enough!! You may have to wait a bit in the office for your appointment (this is because he's caring for his patients and not running through a schedule - you'll appreciate the difference when it's your turn to see the doctor :) He is worth the wait - and so are you!

Been going here since we moved to Summerville last August. I should have taken a cue from how long it takes them to answer the office phone - the quickest they have done that is 7 minutes. I had blood work done 2 weeks ago and have now called 3 times asking for a copy; first time they said they never received it from the lab, second time they were going to get a message to the nurse and today I was told that the nurse still hasn't reviewed the labwork (after 2 weeks... come on). I asked for a referral to a nephrologist as I have kidney disease and was told they could handle that... uh no! Don't get me started on wait times in the office. The 3 times I've been there I have waited in the office an average of 1 hour PAST my appointment times. Time to move on. Good luck if you choose to go there.

Just watched this greedy place make a pizza delivery boy carry what must have been 100 lbs of pizza and soda through the office and up to a second story and didn't even give him a nickel for a tip... deff going somewhere else for care

Dr. Dawson is a great doctor & truly takes time and listens to your concerns. The office is crazy busy but the staff handles it very well! I enjoy my appointments seeing Dr. Dawson, I drive 45 minutes to the office from home to continue seeing him instead of switching to anyone else :) thank you ---K. McDaid

This office in general leaves much to be desired New sign out taking new patients yet takes 2 weeks to get appointment and usually waiting at least an hour to get back. Health care providers have always been good just office staff and there time management leaves much to be desired.

Used to go to this location to see dr wimberley. I'm assuming they're no longer there because I have seen for the past two times a woman doctor and she is just rude. Doesn't talk much and doesn't seem to want to be there. Front staff and the woman who took my blood pressure was nice but the doctor was horrible. She may have said two words to me after checking my ears and throat. she didn't even tell me what sickness I had or diagnosed me with any thing. All she said was "your prescription will be at the CVS"

Been here at least 4 times. Each time time the wait is ridiculous. If you schedule someone at 11:45 and its 12:10 and haven’t been seen. Whats the point of setting an appointment? Thinking about finding another physician Not almost 45 mins.....unacceptable

This has been my primary doc office for 9 years . I could never leave them. They take extreme good care of you. Jocelyn Amanda's nurse made sure to remind me of forms to be updated that I never would have thought of ever. She is amazing !!

I read bad reviews about this place and should have listened! I saw a PA there - Sandi Engler. I thought our appointment went well, she seemed to care. That was misleading. They are only nice to you when you present with an issue but that's where it ends. Heaven forbid you ask questions after the fact. Every single staff member I spoke with regarding my test results were RUDE. My questions aren't being answered and at this point I'm uncomfortable even asking my questions again because of their attitudes - like my questions are inconveniencing them. This isn't okay! I was a 1st time patient but I will never go back there again. If you are looking for a new Primary Doctor - you will want to think twice before going here. Don't make the same mistake I did. I'm looking for a doctor's office with a staff that don't seem to hate their jobs. I don't feel like I'm asking for too much.

Really great staff, alway quick service, and assistance. On my visits, there has never been any issues, other than, I wish there was just a bit more time to talk with the doctor a little longer. This however, maybe the ever changing times in healthcare, and my need to want to take more time than usual.

He has taken care of my entire family; grandmother, mother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, my children, grandchildren, & great grandchildren. Saved my life 4 times. Excellent physician, courteous, great bed side manner (That is very important when you are in hospital), explains your sickness or diseases in plain English where you totally understand what is wrong with you & medical course to recovery. Excellent nurses, medical technicians , office personnel ! I recommend him as a medical helper of God !

I was a patient of PA Sandi Engler for a few years and I recently stopped going because I didn’t feel she cared about my Illness she would have you in and out with little information making assumptions about my Illness and her nurse that older Caucasian woman with the dark colored hair is rude if you do decide to come here go to DR. Castellone he treated me for my sickness in the hospital I wanted to switch to him but the staff wouldn’t let me

Anytime you call you are put on hold. Once you get to a human good luck getting a answer to a question. I was going to have to pay for the blood work out of pocket due to copay and deductible and no one could tell me how much the blood work would cost. One woman I spoke to said most people go ahead and get blood drawn and worry about cost after, I told her this is irresponsible. A simple question, after three different attempts, and waiting on hold over & over proved useless.To get it answered the last person said I would need to call Labcore. What a giant waste of time. The doctor might be fantastic but the office & billing dept are so awful that I am going to go to a different doctor/office. :(
