Everyone was extremely professional from the front desk to the doctors. I left with a clear understanding of my ailments and the steps that will be taken to rectify my issues. Overall pleasant experience!

My fiance has been seeing get these people since last year. Finally they said they were going to do her surgery after being given the run around. A week before the surgery she gets a call and they tell her she needs to find a pain dr. Before they will do the surgery bc the dr doesn't want to be responsible for managing her pain after the surgery. He said he would give her one prescription. She went to a pain management dr and was told they don't do that. She told the dr's office that she would handle her pain management by going to her family dr or someone else but she needed the surgery done. They said the dr. Was out of town last week and now the dr. Won't answer his nurse and she is getting ignored. This place is not a reputable office in my opinion and they will never recieve business from me or anybody else that I know.

I had a second opinion on surgery consult with Dr. Mazoue and was very impressed with both him and all the staff at this location. Super friendly, professional people. He answered all of my questions and spent considerable time explaining everything. I had a follow up question that I sent through the patient portal and was called the next day with the answer. I would definitely recommend this practice.

The staff is nice and very professional. Tiffany is very efficient and keeps Dr. McGowan on point. Dr. McGowan is always willing to go the extra mile. It doesn’t feel like he’s in a hurry to leave. He makes sure the patient feels important. He really listens to me and seems to care. He also sees my mom who is 80 and she loves him. He’s easy to relate to. Terri at check out is also so nice and helpful when finding you an appointment. So thorough. They are first class people who love their job.

Othopedic Spine Group .....they received one star because everyone was polite.. I've waited a minimum of an hour at all 3 visits...the doctor I saw misdiagnosis my injury. I've learned more about my injury from internet research than they've provided. Mismanaged, understaffed, non-informative..(the support staff I interacted with were helpful).. Don't own up to their mistakes.....costly.

I rated 5 star because I have had inflammation of my rotator cuff for over 3 years and I had been going to different doctor's trying to find what was going on. Well after no results, I went to see Dr. Andrew McGown. Not only was he able to find what was going on, but gave me a steroid shot. Now it literally feels like I have a brand new shoulder. Therapy also helps me to. Thanks to the staff at Dr. Gowns office!

Last year Dr. Mazoue replaced my right knee. Although I never spoke with him on the phone post surgery, his team was always available for every question I had and responded immediately. I now need rotator cuff repair surgery and I chose Dr. Mazoue again, not only for his expertise as a surgeon but as a doctor who is caring, communicative and listens, but also because of his fabulous team. I know if I have a question there is always someone available with whom I may speak and receive immediate answers!

I cannot say enough about palmetto USC orthopedics! When it comes to surgeries you want to know exactly who is doing the work and what their level of expertise is. I felt 110% comfortable with Dr. Mazzoue and let me tell you, there is a big reason people travel from all over to see him! Great Doc, professional staff, best medical resource for orthopedics you could possibly find. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

Dr. Mazoue was THE BEST! Pros: Everyone in the office- from receptionist to X-ray to medical assistant were very polite and efficient! Dr. Mazoue Is knowledgeable, patient and polite. I never felt rushed and he answered every question I had. He explained my treatment options thoroughly. Cons: a little bit of a wait (but he’s in high demand) so that is a good sign. Thank you to everyone for providing compassionate and competent care!

Dr. McGown is one of the absolute best physicians I have encountered in a long time. His demeanor, bed side manner and personality are beyond compare. He actually takes the time to listen to his patients and seems genuinely concerned for their wellness. His medical assistants are just as polite and are very thorough in their perspective positions as well. The office staff as a whole are all very polite. I would recommend Dr. MrGown at Palmetto Health Ortho to anyone looking for an great othopedic doctor.

Their billing department and one nurse named Erica are cool. Everyone else is rude, incompetent, or both. I was there for two hours, only fifteen minutes of which was spent with a healthcare "professional." The rest of the time, they had me just waiting. My experience with Dr. Pollack was the worst. He came into the room, told me what had already been established by other medical professionals about my injury, and then referred me to a different doctor. In other words I could have gotten the same information by conducting a Google search for "hand specialist Columbia." However, if I had done that, then I wouldn't have the fun of being price gouged. Finally, the woman who checked me out at the end of my appointment was a grown woman who spoke to me and other customers in this childish sing-song voice. She was indicative of the practice in that they all need to grow up.
