I have taken my grand-nephew to Plantation Pediatrics several times. We have seen 3 different pediatricians - Good, Kornegay and Anderson. ALL have been extremely professional, personable and attentive. The staff is friendly and organized - we've never had to wait more than about 15-20 minutes. I'm very pleased with the doctors, office personnel and the care we've gotten here. Thank you all! :)

From 1997 when I first met Dr. Vasko, he's always been great. He and his partners have cared for my 2 girls until they were 18. Now Dr. Vasko is taking care of my grandchild. Always willing to explain whatever is needed.

My son went to them on 6/29/2016 because I believed he had a sinus infection. He saw Dr(and i use that term loosely) Anne Marie Good. She looked at him said he was fine. Well no less than 12 hours later I had to take him to an urgent care because he was still coughing, eyes were bloodshot and seemed to be oozing pus by now. They informed me he had bacterial conjunctivitis in both eyes as well as an upper respiratory infection. There is no way a legitimate "Dr" would have missed this hours earlier!!!!

Very weard if I can I will give 00000 to costomer service I called them to rescheduled my appointment and because it was my first time they said they can not accept my kid sinse I missed the first appointment how can I trust those people if they are not showing any sense of humanity but I found another pidiatric who know how humanity is valuable and coming first

Unfortunately I did not enjoy my experience at Plantation pediatrics. We had an appointment scheduled for our son and we waited for almost an hour before we decided to leave. As we were leaving a nurse proceeded to tell us that there was a room opening up soon for our son and that there were only four doctors and that is why the wait was so long. This all would have been a little more understandable but at least 10 patients had arrived after us and been seen and left before us in the time that we sat there waiting. What is the purpose of an appointment if the patient isn't even given a room nearly an hour after waiting? Should we just show up 45 minutes late for our next appointment so we don't have to wait so long?

I love the front desk staff. They always greet our family and interact with our children. I love my children's pediatrician because she listens, very thorough, cares and loves her patients. MA's there are very caring, loving, and also interacts with their patients to make them feel at ease. We have been apart of the plantation PEDs family since 2009 and wouldn't change from them. Thanks plantation PEDs for all you all do.

This office is so unprofessional I wouldn’t refer them to Anyone. My. Child had an appointment which because my job is slow with adding him the refused to see him and canceled his appointment. I will see it fit that no one in my family ever goes back to this off. My child is 3 months and has only had two visits due to their slack scheduling.

We've been seeing Dr. John Traynham since our oldest was born 3.5 years ago. He is great with kids and so supportive and patient with new parents. We now have a 4 month old as well and I'm so happy to have Dr. Traynham help us navigate the first year all over again! The staff at the front desk are always friendly, helpful and professional. I have met with a few of the other Doctors during sick visits and talked with them when I've had questions after hours they have also been wonderful! The only reason why we are no longer going to Plantation Pediatrics is because we are moving out of state. I wish we could take them all with us! Thanks for everything!

Plantation Pediatrics is absolutely amazing! We have been going for 2 years and NEVER had a bad experience. Dr. Tyner was my daughters doctor and she made us feel so comfortable. The first year for my daughter was rough since we were in and it of the doctors for breathing issues and ear infections at least twice a month. Dr.Tyner was always so kind and made my daughter so comfortable. Being a first time mom I always had the crazy questions and she was there to answer every single one and never made me feel like I was asking a dumb question. She also supported my decisions as a parent and never over stepped those boundaries or made me feel like I was incompetent to make those hard decisions.Even if we showed up on a day she was not there the doctors that would be available were just as great. The staff was ALWAYS so friendly and inviting and made the experience that much more enjoyable even with the hard visits. we had been doing a 30-45 minute commute to the office from Ladson But it was so worth it.Unfortunately we had to switch doctors due to insurance and it is absolutely heart breaking. Everyone at the office feels like family and I hope our next Doctor can live up to the high expectations that Plantation Pediatrics has fulfilled. Thank you all for being so great and I highly recommend anyone looking for a pediatrician in Charleston to go straight to Plantation Pediatrics. God Bless!

We've seen several of the docs and they are all excellent physicians. The nurses are also wonderful. Sadly, we moved our kids to a different peds practice because the office staff is routinely rude, incompetent and unreliable. Expect long wait times on hold, attitude when requesting any special accommodation and when scheduling appointments. The other reason that caused us to leave perfectly good doctors is inconsistentcy in their billing. We were almost always billed for services that are supposed to be fully covered, even well-visits/vaccines. We spoke to our insurance provider about it and they said that Plantation Peds billing practices were borderline insurance fraud. I simply do not have time or patience to audit and dispute every single invoice from them. Thankfully, this town is full of excellent pediatricians and we found one that actually understands the importance of customer service.

I absolutely ADORE Plantation Pediatrics. My older child was a patient of Dr Traynham’s when we had to move away from Charleston, and I sobbed when we left her last appointment. Now we’ve had a second baby and moved back home, and when my husband found out he’d gotten the job, I made both kids’ appointments within 45 minutes of receiving the job offer! The physicians at this office obviously love children, and are always willing to give you as much of their time as you need. We see Dr Traynham, but have seen Dr Kornegay as well and love him, too. Both these men are knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly kind. I can’t imagine wanting anything more from a pediatrician. The office staff are friendly and capable as well. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that Plantation Peds is amazing, and go make your kid an appointment right now. Seriously! Go!

When we were stationed here in 2009/10, we were quickly referred to Plantation Pediatrics for my children's primary care. Dr. Kornegay did an amazing job with helping us navigate the world of premature babies and did everything in his power to help keep our preemie well. Needless to say, when we were transferred, we were devastated. Fast forward 3yrs and we were sent back to Charleston, so back to PP we went! This group of doctors are like family. They know us by name, and I have never had a bad experience with them. Dr. Kornegay took care of my youngest and was there within just a few hours of his birth -- I can't say enough about how much our family loves this practice and the doctors in it. I have never had a problem with scheduling an appointment, they work with you on insurance/co-pays, and they truly care about the parents & their opinions/concerns with their kids. If you're looking for primary care for your kids, this is truly the best in Charleston. You won't be disappointed.
