I have 2 sons and my 7 year old has been going to Express care Peds since he was born in 2008 however he was seen by Dr. Tonya Knox-Frazier back when the facility was names Brightmoor Peds and I always received the best customer service and since her retiring or leaving the facility the only thing good about Express care is the nurses and the receptionist Renata. Renata always has treated me with great respect and maintained a positive attitude at all times. Upon having my 2nd son, Dr. Knox-Frazier saw him a couple of times before her retiring.I didn't know if I would care for the new staff initially because I had seen and met them several times and they appeared to be uncaring. However here we are today and my youngest son has had several ear infections from birth to 2 years and always have had bad sinus infections. I have been to see Nurse practitioner Megan Humphries several times and she wouldn't give him any antibiotics because " on " he was too young and I would in turn take him right up the street to Drs Care and they would give him meds or she would clearly say that he has a traditional cold and prescribe him NOTHING! Since those several months of dealing with nonsense I contacted the Shriner's Children s Hospital and got him an appointment because he had developed a limb,that I brought to Megan's attention and she said "oh it's probably him growing". My son had been dealing with this along with his other health issues that had been put off because of Megan clearly not knowing her job and now has been diagnosed with Leg Calf Prethesis due to infection and bacteria consistently getting into his blood stream! Last time he was seen at Express care I asked for his records to be sent to another Pediatric facility and it took the longest for them to send that. I was referred to a ENT on Nov 22, 2015 and they are just now sending over his files. Diane Kovacs is the WORST of them all! Disrespectful office manager and I think she has an issue with black people, it's Jan 2016 and no paperwork yet!

Everytime I call in regards to my son kuron hughes I get sent to voicemail no one calls back The doctors don't address the issue of that of a concerned doctor would have of a patient in there care, whether it was the reason for the visit or not. The doctors are there to collect a check that's all

Worst service Ive ever had. Lady who answered the phone acted like she had never scheduled an appt before. Closed an hour early because doctor reached capacity for the day.? Yet no one could tell me that on the phone when I called right before going. Made a 30min drive for nothing.

We brought my kids to be seen. My sister in law referred us here some months ago before she moved out of state. Our first impression was not a good one. Website had one time and on the door was another. That began our extra wait time of 30 mins before it opened and 45 once we filled out paperwork just to be called back. Another 15-20 minutes in the room. The mural on the lobby wall hasn't been finished in the last two visits in two or three months and is quite an eye sore. The receptionist Desirea was in training with Chrystal on our last visit but both were very nice. The medical nurse assistant Cynthia has always been nice to me and my wife and kids. The nurse practitioner Meagan was nice but she didn't seem to know her medical stuff on any of our visits. We asked to see Dr Polly but she has been on vacation for a while or just not there during our visits. My wife thought it odd for them not have a backup plan when the nurse practitioner knows nothing. My sister in law had said if we have any issues to not ask for office mgr Diane because she doesn't solve any problems and rude. We are now looking for another place to take the kids.

From out of town and needed to have our medically complex little one seen by a doctor without a hospital adventure. Dr. Polly and the entire staff were amazing and super helpful and understanding. I would absolutely have confidence in her as my child's pediatrician if I lived in the area. They even called the next day to see how our child was doing! Thank you Express Pediatrics and Dr. Polly and nurse Ainsley!

I liked them when they had doctor knox.. But now the other doctor and the ladys at the desk suck.. They act like there stupid.. The doctor aint even make sure what i had problems with my daughter aint even ask me.. I will be chageing her doctors soon if dr knox was still there and the other ppl that was there i would not change.. But they dont know what they talkng about half the time...

This is a great place. Ive never had any problems w the doctors. Only thing i dont like is the hours always change an u never no if they open or not and they NEVER answer there phone.. but other than that they are awesome. An my kids love them

Loved it when Dr. Knox was working there. Now only use this place for emergencies, sometimes not even then. Doctors are uncaring and rude. Receptionist has been there since I first came there in 2012, she's awesome, and the nurses. Thats about it.

They say they take walk in...wrong. Went there the nurse met us at the door and said they are closed its 4pm and door says 5 pm. They are rude.

The only thing that I dislike about express pediatrics is that, you don't see the doctors anymore.... only the nurse practioner. I have had several in counters with the nurse practioner and she act as if she don't know what she is doing, she don't examine the children good at all, she don't listen to what the children tell her (as far as what's hurting them) before she tells them why she think they are hurting. Only that child know how they feel...you can't tell a child what they feel because you don't feel their pain. She didn't want to prescribe my daughter anything for her migraine. She wanted my daughter to go two weeks without any medication until a neurologist call to give her a appointment. I politely told it's best thing that she can do was to call Dr.Polly to prescribe her (my child) something because my child is not waiting two weeks for a appt with no medication & she have bad migraines. Remind you I told her 4 times that none of the meds that was prescribed to my child In the past for her migraines isn't working, she told me to keep giving them to her. How crazy is that...I told her no I'm not!!! Then she told me to give her naproxin....if she would have read her chart, then she would have known that my child is allergic to Naproxin. I told her to call Dr.Polly....it took her 15 minutes to decide to call Dr.Polly. Just awful. She don't examine you like she should....she act as if she is scared to touch the kids. I love the medical assistants and the recetionist!! They are the best.....they act more concerned about the kids than the nurse practioner Megan!!! Ranada & Tasha..yall are the ones that's holding things together. Thanks for showing concern with each of the children that comes in that building, thanks for your pleasant attitudes, your time, and your patience.

Needs to get a real.doctor to work here. We always get the Nurse practitioner Megan. She needs more time in school & needs to show more compassion for her field of work & show some sweet affection towards our sick kids. She makes it feel & seem like our sick kids are an inconvenience to her. The desk lady has always been a sweety she needs to go work elsewhere but here. Do not take your kids here unless you are going to see an acutally doctor who knows what he/she is doing.
