All of the dentist and staff are amazing here at Coastal Pediatric Dentistry. My children have been going here since their very first tooth 12 1/2 years ago. They have never failed my children with their teeth and they have always made them feel important and loved.

Wonderful staff wonderful experience as always....such beautiful staff inside and out ...the happiest and coolest dentist experience u could ask for .....so glad to have Dr.Hubbard in bft.....if u haven't been with your kids u r truly missing out on meeting some wonderful ladies who make going to the dentist a pleasure

1 star for the nice apologetic and attentive hygienist but 0 stars for the wildly passive aggressive front desk person with dark hair who told me all of 3x that they have a 10 minute late policy. Once when I arrived. Again as I waited for the broken x-ray machine to give wonky results and then just simply not work. (She came IN from the front desk to show me on a clipboard and have me re-sign HIPPA) (?!!) Then again a 3rd time when I was leaving - she reminded me again and blamed me for why I waited inside so long for the dentist after the hygienist told me there was a patient that was difficult which i could hear yelling - and waiting patiently making it so there was no way I was going to book my next appointment which I was standing there to book. Last but not least, 0 stars to the icy dentist who never introduced herself to my kids OR to me. I had to ask her if she was the dentist after she plowed her hands into my kids mouth like she was fixing a tire. There was zero warmth or even communication to my children. To recap, the x-ray machine was not working properly and apparently had been like that awhile. The sound system that they think is so fun for kids, well all but one of the seats was working. They had no flavored fluoride and so everyone gets mint. Just seemed like nothing was organized or working or up to par. I remember feeling like it was a sort of mean spirited place when I first went there. Now, never again. For all the bells and whistles, this seems like a hack job of a dentist office. I am convinced these reviews are fake. I mean this is the 2nd time. There is so much hostility in this place. Even the people working there were tense with one another.

Yes, the office has a very inviting, kid friendly, atmosphere. However, they rip you off by charging an $82 “behavioral management” fee when an appointment is unsuccessful. They were informed prior to my son’s appointment that he had sensory issues and that he was a severely picky eater. He was afraid of objects and certain textures in his mouth. They knew that his appointments would be challenging but still threatened to charge an additional fee if they couldn’t place his fillings. So, I canceled my son’s appointment with them and found a real pediatric dentist to successfully place my son’s fillings. I’ve included a screenshot of the visual voicemail they left on my phone.

This is hands down the best dentist office I’ve ever seen. The staff is all around amazing. The way the office is set up is so amazing as well to entertain the children. I love it.

They have a friendly staff there which is why they only get one star. The major issue was they didn’t numb my child’s mouth good enough and had another assistant come in the room to pin my child to the chair to pull her tooth. No child should have to be pinned down to get dental work done. I definitely will not be bringing my children back to this dentist ever again.
