My first appointment was moved 3 times after I scheduled it. I was supposed to go for my second appointment tomorrow, and at 4 pm today they called to reschedule it. If you are the type of person to know when you are going to see a doctor, this is probably not the place for you. Update: I'm at 20 weeks now. I was called today and informed that the location for my appointment tomorrow has changed, and I will now be seeing the NP instead of my doctor. 75% of my appointments have been changed in one way or another, usually less than 24 hours in advance.

I've had really great experiences coming to Caroline Women's Physicians in the past, and had a great appointment yesterday but I've been sick with something I'm not sure about. They gave me a couple test, and said the results would be a few hours, and they would call me. Who's ever job it was to call me failed to do so!!! So today I still receive no phone call, and have gotten even sicker. I tried to call the lab for results but they cannot give them to me..Only a physician can from what they say. So since it's Friday and they close early I could not figure out my results in time that I paid for!!! I'm am super upset about this & will never let them give me a test like I was give because my primary doctor would have ensured I have those results right away. Carolina women's physician will fail on their part to let you know your results in a timely fashion. As a patient I expect to come first and be told my results! Negative or positive everybody deserves their results. So I hope and pray to god I will get over "whatever it is I have" and not have to go the ER for better care over the weekend. They have great doctors, but I don't appreciate not being told my results. It's true you have to be your own advocate!

My experience with each of these doctors has been amazing..I moved about 2 years ago and did not think I could find another physician that I was comfortable with. My primary is Dr. Greene. She is beyond amazing . She is very caring, patiebnt, flexible, knowledgeable and the list goes on. She encouraged me when I was having trulpublengetting pregnant and never gave up. When I found out I was pregnant she was still nothing short of amazing. I am now 37 weeks and have seen all of the physicians in this practice. I have found that even thought they are all different , they still have several things in common, primarily the care and compassion theu have for their jobs. Never have I felt rushed, "dumbed" dowb, let down, unimportant or anything. They have helped me in more ways than many when it has come to issues I have had during this pregnancy. I am a full time nurse , mom and wife myself. I pay alot for my insurance and never have I have ever felt "ripped off " or like I did not matter . I never told them or wrote down that I am a nurse, nor shared with them anything because I want to be treated like everyone else. I feel like they do not discriminate against anyone no matter your race, situation, status or insurance. As a Healthcare professional I know how hectic things grt but I also know it takes a true, caring person who loves what they do to get through those times. I have no doubt that each of these physicians truly love their job and feel like they do amazing at showing it. I have not seen one of them yet that made me feel uncomfortable or lIke I did not matter, and each of them have been supportive of my decision for VBAC, which is rare in this area. This is definitely a practice you want to be a part of .

I have been a patient of Dr. Reed for over 10 years. When she joined Carolina Women's Physicians, I was skeptical, but I must say, I have been very pleased with the care I have received at this practice. Everyone from the nurses, to the ultrasound techs to the check-out staff is very nice and helpful. I, of course, love Dr. Reed and her nurse Shannon. They are phenomenal!!

Laurel Tahon

Dr. Jones and the staff at Carolina Women's Physicians are absolutely amazing! Dr. Jones never makes you feel rushed and takes the time to answer any questions you have. She also takes the time to talk to our 2 yr old and makes sure she's included. I cannot recommend them enough!!!

Robin Thompson

Overall, this is an good practice. I've had some negative experiences with one doctor in particular, who shall remain nameless, but the two main doctors I usually see, Naffziger and Toole, are always very caring and gentle. I've had a particularly difficult pregnancy and my nurses and doctors have been understanding and prompt through it all.

Becky Massey

The last appointment I had, I was told the anti-depressant I have been on for several years was addictive, but it was because the doctor was not familiar with the generic name for Lexapro. I since decided to switch to another doctor within the practice and was told "no", it had to go through a review process with ALL the doctors. After more than a week of waiting for this "process" to occur, I received a call saying I cannot switch doctors due to patient volume, but they would be happy to send my records somewhere else. Talk about feeling unwanted!!

I have seen 2 Obgyn's in this facility and both are ridiculous! Dr Morton and Dr. Green. Neither one of them has a bed side manner and neither one of them was helpful. One diagnosed me with PCOS without doing any blood work to confirm or deny and the other diagnosed me with sensitivity to hormones. I suffer from PMDD which both deny exists. Dr Green changed my birth control stating I could enjoy my vacation without hot flashes and failed to tell me it was a different birth control that consists of higher estrogen and it takes 2 weeks to work. The birth control I was on got rid of hemorrhaging and I had no side effects, now I am so sick and back to heavy periods. Ever heard of a prescription and keeping me on my pill that had some positive effects????? I feel you should not become a doctor especially for babies and women if you have no compassion!!!

I visited Carolina Women’s Physician in Lexington after researching different places. Dr. Julie Reed was my on/gyn. I had a great experience. I felt like the care I received was the best. Each Dr. in the office took the time to answer any of my questions or concerns. The nurses were also very helpful and nice. I’m now pregnant with my second child, and will be returning to Carolina Women’s Physicans.

Dr. Greene is very unprofessional and has a horrible bedside manner. Dr. Greene got upset with me because I decided not to get a flu shot. Her words and attitude torwards me was very unprofessional and rude.

Caitlin Voravudhi

I’ve been coming here for years and went through my first pregnancy with these ladies (and hopefully my second soon).. every doctor I’ve dealt with is professional and friendly. I get nothing but good vibes from this office and it makes your less than desirable annual appointments bearable!

Ciera

Overall I am very disappointed with the service here, both by the medical and administrative staff. If I could give 0 stars, I would. My first appointment in 2017: was told I had to wait 5 months to get an appointment. When I finally went in, I was told by the doctor she had no time to get to know me like she normally does with new patients because she was running behind. At an 8:30am appointment. And they open at 7:30am. Not sure why it's my fault they were so behind after only being open for 1 hour. They also forgot to refill an important prescription, and it took a few days to get that easy task sorted out. In 2018: I received no appointment reminders, either in the mail, by phone, by email, or the online portal. When I went to my appointment, I was informed that it was supposed to be at their new office location. No one told me this. On top of that, the receptionist was extremely rude and did not apologize for the mistake. I was told I had to wait 2 hours and then go to the new office. Highly inconvenient. At the new office, I still received no apology for the mistake. Three weeks after my appointment, I have still not received any results, either by mail, phone, email, or the online portal even though I was told I would. But, I received a phone call to schedule another appointment. When I called back to ask why I needed to come in again so soon, I was told the call was a mistake. Then, a couple days later I received yet another call saying I needed to come in to redo a test (that I assume they messed up somehow). Again, no apologies. Also, most medical guidelines say this test only needs to be done once every 3 years, and they just did this test last year. I am fed up with the rudeness, neglect, and wasted time dealing with this office. They also seem to be using outdated or personal guidelines instead of industry standards. I will not be returning to this office again.

I have been to this practice a few times for prenatal care, and everyone has been accommodating and friendly. The lab and ultrasound techs are all very nice, and the doctors have been very helpful. Wait time isn't too terrible either. I'm really not sure why people would give this place a poor review. I'm pleased with them!

Fee Rich

Front office receptionist was rude and provided no assistance when a scheduling mix up occurred. The office was empty and I was the only patient present. At 3:40 when I asked why she had not tried to assist, she said, “we close at 4:00.” I was on the phone with another medical office and they too were appalled by her demeanor. Not a welcoming environment!

Sherry Chevalier

I went several months ago to Dr. Jones. She was very nice and seems to be a good doctor. I needed an ultrasound but thought it was also my annual exam when the appointment was made by my oncologist. It was not, just the ultrasound. So I made an appointment when I left, thinking that was my annual. Today I called to confirm the appointment for tomorrow and was told that the appointment was a follow-up ultrasound, not an exam. I told them I didn't need another one because the last one was fine and needed my annual exam. She said she's have to put me on a waiting list because they are not booking exams. I said "never?", she said "No" (exact words). Then she said maybe in October. This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I canceled the appointment and told them I'd find another doctor. So I'm a cancer patient on my second year of not having an annual because of an office that can't just make a normal appointment. Thx so much.

Jamie Riser

Love Dr. Greene and the whole staff! Highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Allyson Jones for six years now and cannot recommend her enough. She was my doctor through my pregnancy and subsequent birth of my daughter in 2009, and has a wonderful bedside manner.

Jazzi Belle

Dr. Morton is fantastic, I love her. She's quick, gentle, caring and has a genuine interest in your health. I would give 5 stars but trying to get someone, ANYONE on the phone is ridiculous. I've called and called, left several messages all on different days. Zero call backs... They can do a whole heck of a lot better in this area as i purposely watch the receptionists/nurses and they are never THAT busy.

Actrice Thessalonia

Look elsewhere!! Dr. Greene is the absolute worst and don't care about you or your unborn!! I have made it known that she is NOT to ever be my doctor again and she will NOT be touching me or my babygirl!! I will be going to the head person with my complaint because she does not need to have a medical license of any sort!!!

Courtney Smith

Dr. Greene is amazing! I've been with her for about 3 years now due to my original doctor retiring. I was so nervous to try another doctor but I love her more than the last. My mama goes to Dr. Jones and loves going to her as well!

Bree Cox

Dr. Green is one of the best Drs I've ever had. She truly cares and has been there since day one 2 years ago when I had my miscarriage and when I couldn't get pregnant again she did everything she could to find out why and how we can make it happen then bam 2 years after being with her and doing test I'm pregnant again 20 weeks along now. And she has been a huge help during this pregnancy keeping a very close eye on me and my baby to make sure we are both healthy and safe.

Susan White

These ladies are wonderful!! I can’t say enough good things about them! I was referred by a friend. Dr Greene is awesome! She takes her time and answered all my questions in ways I understood.

Casey Meetze

All of the women who work here have been so friendly and make me feel very comfortable.

juanita riley

I recently had to have surgery and Dr Jones was my doctor, she was very caring and supportive and explained the process to us and what to expect afterwards. I really appreciate her approach and her concern!!

Jeremy Kelly

My wife and I have had all three of our children delivered by them and have not had a bad experience. We would recommend them to anyone

Brooke Jeffcoat

I had an appointment with this office and after being stuck on THEIR elevator that the doors would not open back up from the inside or move to any other floor for 15 minutes it made me late. I had to wait until someone attempted to get on the elevator for the doors to open. The lady at the front desk stated since I was 15minutes late already they could not see me.

After faxing over my records to this practice, I waited 17 days before calling them myself. They told me they couldn't accept me into their practice and that they do not owe me a reason. The staff condescendingly said I should have just gone for another practice. When I asked why I had not gotten a call about it from them, she said we have a lot of patients. Speechless. I am in my 30's with no prior complications and 17 weeks pregnant.

Lynn Roberts

Was told that I might have Cancer that I need to be seen in a week and they won't bother to see me due to being late because of a wreck stopping traffic on I-20. Only 1 person even remotely seems to care.

cowstabber5

My wife has seen her several times and she refers her to other people rather than trying to fix the problem. She has not been honest and forthcoming with all of her findings and refuses to take her seriously. Our entire experience with this “doctor” had been a waste of time.

Bhuwneshwar Kumar

During our 2nd child birth, we used to go to Here. Dr morton was our physician. She is excellent Dr. I recommend others to try here.

P LEBECQ

I recently had a wellness exam at this practice for the first time. I was seeking a new physician as my long time physician is retiring soon. During my exam, I was informed that a discussion about my health history and previous diagnosis would have to be covered in a separate visit as insurance would not cover it. Then, the practice misfiled my claim with an old insurance policy and of course it was denied and I was billed for the charges. I provided a copy of the correct policy at my visit. When I called their office, they told me I would have to speak to the billing department at LMC since it was for labs. I hope they billed the correct insurance for my office visit and exam. I won't be returning and would highly discourage anyone from visiting Dr. Green in this practice as she appears to be more concerned with billing my insurance company then patient care. Even though it seems her staff is less concerned with billing the proper insurance company. NOTE: I gave this practice one star as zero stars is not an option.

Jennifer Parker

Carolina Women's Physicians ROCKS! The entire staff and Dr.s are extremely professional and caring. They go above and beyond to address your every concern. So very thankful to have been a patient of theirs over the last 3 years. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone I know.

Dani McClain

Dr. Morton was unfriendly and cold. In fact when I came to her about a concern I had, she did not try to understand but rather argued with me about what I thought the cause was. She even went so far as to say that it was all in my head. To top it all off, the practice does not have the technology to even do simple procedures in office. They were going to put me under FULL anesthesia to do a non-invasive procedure in the OR. Simply put, you need someone you are comfortable with and can trust when it comes to OBGYN, and this is not the place. I will not be going back.

Krystal Pearson

I have gone to these women for my first pregancy and they were the most plesant and wonderful people. From the reception up to visiting the doctor, everything was great. Doctor Lambert was very kind and truly listened to any and all of my worries. I always walked out of there feeling like all my questions were answered. She has shown great care for me and my baby. I will be sure to go back to them in the future. I recomend Lambert highly.

I have been seeing Dr. Reed and her Staff during my Pregnancy. I love the staff from the front desk where you check in to leaving with Check out. All the ladies, are as sweet, nice and concerned. Buffy the Triage Nurse is always able to assist with my overactive worst case self. If she doesn't answer the phone, She will return my call same day or the following day with an answer. Both Nurse Practioners that I have had the pleasure of seeing are very attentive and willing to listen and observe my concerns. There really is not anything Negative I can say. They have monitored my baby when I was concerned just to ease my mind. Never rushed me or made me feel like I was not important! I highly recommend any of these ladies

I see Doctor Morton and she is fabulous. Probably the best doctor's office I have ever been to. Not only are the doctors great, but the nurses and staff are equally as professional. I always feel welcomed and comfortable when I go in for an appointment. They take their time and listen to you instead of rushing you out with an unexplained diagnosis. Her nurse (Sara) always returns my phone calls in a courteous and timely manner and has always been extremely sweet to me. I recommend them to all of my friends and family that are looking for a Gyno! The best hands down.

JoAnne Halligan

Awesome office, doctor and staff! Dr Lsmber has been my doctor for the last 3yrs. She's been kind, attentive and really knows her stuff. I had to have a hysterectomy (recommended by 4 other doctors over the past 10 yrs but I resisted). Dr. Lambert tried all other options before doing this and it went great. Literally no complications, much less pain than expected and recovered very fast, even jogging again within 5months. Everyone there from her nurse Allie to the front desk and checkout person have been extremely kind, courteous and helpful. Allie also promptly returned several calls I had with questions on medication, really appreciated that! They have also gone out of their way to work out billing and medication for the least burden possible to me. I highly recommended Dr. Lambert and Carolina Women's Physicians practice as well as my primary doctor who recommended her to me, Dr. Kimberly Hawkes from Lexington Famly Practice Lake Murray as well!

Chad Lord

Dr. Jones, who appears in magazines and commercials, scheduled our c-section for 12:10 on an earlier date than the regularly scheduled section due to her advisement. There were emergencies which caused a 10 min delay, which is understandable. Because she only had a 20 min window of opportunity to perform the surgery before appointments at her office she had to delay us by three hours. I do not agree on her decision making metrics and her prioritizing was absent. I would highly not recommend Dr. Jones at Carolina women's physicians. And for future reference, obtain their hourly rate of charge and bill them for her time she has delayed you.

Cherrell Morton-Riley

Feel like your just a number there . I’ve told them many concerns , and feel like I don’t get taken seriously. Hard to get in contact with someone , they bad on getting your paperwork done for work . My overall birthing experience was great but overall not very please .

firaspiral

please don't choose Elizabeth Lambert as your MD, she is horrible, no bedside manners, does not listen to the patient, she thinks she knows everything, very rude

Briana Smith

Use to be a great place, I’m not sure what happened. No one is on one accord, also very difficult to get appointments here even as an expecting patient in an emergency situation. I was seen in the ER and was told to follow up with my OBGYN in 1to 2 days due to possible risk of a miscarriage and was told by Dr.Greenes nurse,”they tell everyone that so it’s not necessary that you be seeen in that time frame”. Also was told because I had gone to the nearest ER at that time that I could not be seen until I went back to that same ER and obtained the medical records from the visit and brought to the office even after explaining the ER had recommended bed rest and they were 1 hour away from that ER. I even contacted the ER and they instructed me not to drive there and to get much needed rest to simply have the office request the medical records and they would fax them over. Dr.Greenes nurse still said they could not do that or see me unless I brought the medical records from the ER or came in the office to sign a release form. At that point I’m relieved that at least I’m getting closer to getting an appointment but the stress behind it! After going to the office to sign the release form and speaking with the receptionist and explaining my situation she recommended I be seen immediately and referred me to their irmo office which was a 20 minute drive from there but at this point I’m willing to do anything and see anyone. Dr.Jennifer Bailey agreed to see me and was very polite and empathetic and I asked her if I could see her throughout my pregnancy but she informed me I would only see her sometimes and she could not deliver the baby so me and my husband decided it was best to switch physicians for the safety of our new addiction so that we receive prompt care with less stress. I hope no one has to experience what I went through here.

Brenda Vancil

My husband and I went in for our first pregnancy appointment at the LMC location. First stop was the ultrasound. I knew something was wrong before the lady said anything but she's says well I don't see a baby. There's the sac but no baby. Afterwards, she puts us in a waiting room! I only gave 3 stars bc Dr Greene, her nurses and the wonderful lady that took by blood are amazing! But that ultrasound lady needs to learn some bedside manner! I will only set my appointments up at the office in irmo from now on if I can help it!

Matthew Roseberry

Just called as a new patient to make an appointment and decided not to because of how RUDE the receptionist was. Sounded like she hated her job. I'll take my business elsewhere!
