I have been taking my children to Carolina Pediatrics since they were a year old. I had an appt for my daughter who is now 13 yrs old. It was pouring down rain and I was late for my appt by 15 min and they sent me home because I was late. Ever since I have started coming here I never once remember them ever seeing me in less than 30-40 min. I have been patient and understanding and waited in their waiting room, but when they sent me home for being late one time for 15min, I realize how poorly they value their patients and their time, I absolutely love the doctors but the system they run the office is terrible.
I am updating my review, the above part happened 4 months ago, today I went back as I had a sick child, I went 10 min early to my appt, because of past experience. After waiting 1 hr in the waiting room, I asked the receptionist and she said the doctor had 4 patients in the rooms back there and was not going to see us for another 30 min!!! I left because I had other responsibilities! This office is really exploiting its patients. They know we have sick children and we love our pediatrician, so they are expecting us to wait indefinitely to see the doctor. This is worse than a 3rd world country treatment. I think they have completely forgotten the meaning of an appointment! It is a broken system and a very poorly managed office. I am starting to think that we as regular patients have enabled this office to mistreat us by never complaining for the long waits.
