REVIEWS OF Carolina Digestive Disease & Palmetto Endoscopy Suite IN South Carolina

My Maven

Dr. Tup Iseman is one of the best. Caring, knowledgeable and great bed side manner. He really knows his stuff. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a gastroenterologist.

Paige Lowrance

Doctors were great. Nurse was rude. The information provided to me prior to surgery was invalid, thought I was having surgery when I wasn't just an all around frustrating experience.

I just had a colonoscopy dome today at the endoscopy center and I want to praise the staff and Dr. Iseman for their professionalism and care that I received today. They even called me to come in early because they had a cancellation. That's a very nice gesture when you haven't had anything to eat for over 24 hours. From the greeting of the office staff to the procedure nurses, I was completely impressed. I high recommend this practice!!!

I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting any of the staff face to face yet, but I am writing this review based off the experience i have had with them on the phone. The staff answers their phones in a unfriendly manner every time I call. It took three times for my insurance's faxes to be received because they get so many referrals a day that they are easily lost. So you have to call them over and over until they finally receive the referral. THEN you have to call your primary care provider and ask them to fax your medical records. You then have to call them back and ask if they received the fax, over and over, because again they "get over 100 referrals a day" and apparently don't have time to call their future patients to let them know they received the needed chart notes and are able to schedule the appointment. Just because you don'y need the business, doesn't mean your potential future patients deserve to be treated any different than if you were receiving only 1 referral a day instead of 100. I understand you're busy. I understand you don't "need" my business, but you work with pediatric patients.... THEY NEED YOU. They need you to have the capability to be able to call their parents and schedule them an appointment. Because you dont make that effort, its now taken me almost 30 days to be able to even schedule the appointment, let alone for her to be actually seen. I will update this review once a provider is actually seen by us. Which likely will be weeks from now... Meanwhile my daughter (nine years old) is pooping blood and crying herself to sleep every night from the pain in her stomach....

Very good experience! I had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy done at the same time. I hadnt ever had either and was petrified. I also do not come out of anesthesia well. During the endoscopy, I ended up needing my throat stretched, I was having trouble swallowing. The exams uncovered strictures in my throat, which were cut, an ulcer, and even a hernia in my upper GI. 3 biopsies were taken, all came back ok. Everyone in this clinic from the receptionist to the nurses to the anaesthetist to the doctor who performed the exams was kind and professional. The procedures themselves were way way less intimidating than what I expected, no pain at all, I had zero trouble with anethesia, and recovery was very quick. I had a very mild sore throat after endoscopy, less pain in it than when you have a cold. I had zero, zero pain or discomfort after colonoscopy. If you need to have these exams done, don't hesitate to use Carolina Digestive Disease and Palmetto Endoscopy Suite. The staff is top notch, and I am thankful I don't need to do this again for ten years ;). ....here is an update after scopes and what the doc prescribed. After a few weeks of meds for ulcer and throat, I can swallow waaay better, I have lost some weight and am feeling well enough to exercise. I feel 1000% better. Get your scopes done! :)

I received great professional service. Best experience I've ever had with my procedure. I recommend. ✔️

If I could give zero stars, I would. Wife and I got here at 8:15am for her colonoscopy. It's now 9:25am and they JUST called her to the back to get prepped for the procedure. I understand that a little leeway is necessary in terms of time when medical facilities are concerned, but sitting in the waiting room for well over an hour is more a symptom of piss-poor schedule management than anything else.

Julie Cachera

Dr. Spencer Jenkins finally diagnosed me correctly, after many MDs gave up and never definitively told me what was wrong with me. I have suffered with flare ups for 30+ years and now feel amazing and blessed to have been referred to him. He and his team are fantastic! Highly recommend!

Rae Enlow

I just want to say how wonderful this entire staff is! The office is immaculate. EVERYONE is friendly and helpful and they LISTEN. I have never so easily been able to tell a staff what name I go by and that I would not like to be addressed as "Mrs" and have them comply immediately and with a smile. I am terrified of getting an IV in my hand from previous experiences, it is their routine to put IV's in the hand for their procedures. I asked my nurse to PLEASE use my arm and she complied with my request and made it happen! Kudos to this staff!!! BEST place to go and in the best hands with their doctors!!! I wish I could give a million stars!!!!
