The female dentist here actually interchanges somehow between an orthodontist and a dentist. Where do I begin with the malpractice that could have taken place with my child if I would have agreed! First off, It took ten visits to accomplish ONE task. Clearly they were looking to make as much money as possible. My child needed treatment and each treatment was postponed at every visit to make another visit. It just kept snowballing until my child was in so much pain I had to seek care elsewhere! Glad I did because it made such a huge difference. She got treatment right away and felt much better. I was pressured into doing hospital sedation which was not a good option for us and then they wanted to do in office sedation for my 18month Old who was no where near the weight required by South Carolina. I am not pleased with this place and I think ppl who don’t know about this may be pressured into receiving bad treatment that could result in learning disabilities or death. When I went to the other dentist, I simply held my daughter while she received treatment. This office only offers being strapped down to a board like a straight jacket or either being sedated by IV. This is traumatic and dangerous. Plus they over charge for their treatments such as SDF. They charge 150 per tooth, verses 75 at current dentist. Something is not right here.

This place was only one of a few orthodontist that took my insurance. I can say that I’m extremely satisfied the dr and her assistant were so kind. They explained what options I had for treatment and explained the procedure. They go out of there way to make you feel welcome, so glad we found them

Before I got my braces I did my research on pricing and Facilities and after doing my Consultation with Ashby park Orthodontist I knew I would love it there the staff is so nice and makes you feel comfortable during your visit, the prices are very reasonable and Dr. Melissa is great at her job and very knowledgeable as she always explains everything that she does before doing it and how it will benefit you to getting that great smile I definitely would recommend getting your braces done here!!

Liam was scared and has a stuffy nose. When the assistant tried to take X-rays he panicked. His next experience was having his head laying lower than his body and he went into a full panic. I felt he could have been eased into the introduction and talked to about what he would experience. After he is scared is too late to win him over. We will give this practice one more try in a few weeks.

Ashby Park Pediatric Dentistry was absolutely amazing! They are quick, efficient, and direct with their treatment plans. They were so gentle and accommodating with my mildly-uncooperative 2 year old, and did everything to cater to her. Well qualified and friendly staff, and most importantly, very good with kids. Modern facilities, with a bright and rustic tree theme. The play area is creative, and safe. (They even sanded the edges off of the wooden blocks.) They are also located very conveniently next to the pediatric doctor that we use, and fairly close to where I live. I highly recommend this place for anyone who has children with teeth.
