This office doesn't deserve 1 star. If 0 was a possible score, that's what score or stars this office should get. Terrible service, Front Desk receptionist are never nice nor friendly. If you need to be seen ASAP, Don't count on Affinity to be there for you because the best they can possibly do is schedule an appointment 2 months in advance. Recently scheduled an appointment a month and a half ago. Showed up on the day scheduled. Then was told it was never scheduled. After i had been calling weeks prior to double check i was in the clear to finally see the DR. Horrific Experience. A grave would see me before A DR. from here would.

Update: It keeps getting worse with this place. I got a call yesterday saying my labwork samples had been lost or something and that I have to come back in the have my blood drawn again. How do I know it’s even going to be taken care is this time? People make mistakes, but I’ve been rubbed the wrong way since the second I walked into this place. Get it together. My first impression of this place has not been great. It wasn’t horrible but they front desk just rubs me the wrong way. They don’t know how to talk to people. I came in for my initial appointment and was told that the provider I was supposed to be seeing was not there, and I would just have to be worked in. A man who missed his appointment came in after me and was taken back before I was, and before other people who had been there before I was. Since I could tell they couldn’t get it together, I opted to reschedule since I shouldn’t have to wait as a walkin since I had an appointment, that doesn’t make sense. I should have been seen with the next available person, not be treated like I was on a “first come first serve basis”. I also should have been called and told my appointment was going to be changed. I come in the next day ten minutes before my appointment was scheduled (8:20am) and all the receptionist says with a nasty look on her face is “you were supposed to be here at 8:15”. Ok? I actually was not told that when I scheduled or when they called to confirm. I figured being a new patient I should be there early, but no one told me i had to be there at 8:15. The way she went about it was just rude. You can say things to people without a nasty attitude. It only took me a couple minutes to fill out my paperwork. She also asked me for my ID and proof of employment. I brought my 2 most recent paystubs and of course that wasn’t good enough. She wanted 2 months worth of paystubs. I’m pretty sure 2 pay periods is enough, I’m not applying for a mortgage for crying out loud. I told her I’m not bringing anything else in, that’s what I have for them. I heard her call back to let them know I was there. It still took them about 10 minutes to come get me, so obviously that whole 5 minutes I was “late” made such a huge difference. Gerald and his medical assistant really were the saving grace of this place for me. They were very friendly and listened to the concerns I was having. He didn’t make me feel like my concerns weren’t valid like a lot of doctors do. His assistant made sure she was very thorough to get all of my information. I was in and out very quick. I had to get labs done and the ladies there got my blood drawn very fast, there wasn’t any wait at all and they were very efficient. It seems like everyone there is very friendly and helpful besides the women at the front desk. For some reason they seem to enjoy giving people grief for being late, even by just a few minutes. They have no interest being friendly or welcoming. It would be one thing if they were unfriendly and at least efficient. They’re unfriendly and everyone who came in had a problem with their appointment. I sat with 4 women in the waiting room on the first day, all of their appointments had been messed up like mine. Like I said, if it wasn’t for Gerald and his assistant I probably would have given this place 1 Star.

The doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and the rest of the staff have all been especially helpful. I feel comfortable coming here and they seem to treat everyone with dignity and respect. Looking forward to visiting the new facility!

First I would like than Mr Good for guiding me through the testing process. I was very nervous about being tested but he made me feel like I am somebody regardless of my behavioral practices. He told me about the 3mv program and invited me to attend and I would like to say that he really knows how bring a group of guys together to have healthy dialogue about healthy sexual practices. We need more people in our community like him! Affinity you definitely have the right one on the job!

I do not recommend that anyone in their right mind come to Affinity! They are the most rudest and the most disrespectful unprofessional people in the doctor's office world that I have ever seen! I have had so many bad experiences here they treat you like you are not human they treat you like you are worthless it's almost like if you're not a certain race color or ethnic you don't get treated properly this doctor's office is the only doctor's office that I have ever been to in my life that has made me feel so humiliated as a person. They do not care about your health it's almost like they act as if they have all this control over you and you are nothing. It's absolutely ridiculous and I even have insurance! But now I know and I have called around and ventured out and have gotten a wonderful doctor now. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy or my grandmother here!! I have seen one of the LPN women here, I have seen the dentist, I have seen the counselor. It's been the same for each one of them no good results! I just can't figure out or understand why they pick and choose the people they want to help and be friend, and I actually have legit life or death health problems . it's just beyond me. So my review is like negative zero and I do not recommend that anyone come to this doctor's office.

I have to say I went back the other day and I was very skeptical because the 1st time I was there was a orrible experience. I think it was just the doctor that I got because when I went back I requested that I not get her and I got somebody else that was awesome and she took the time to really listen and is actually doing blood work and a biopsy when the other doctor just gave me cream and said here you go see you later. Yes it is on a sliding scale but for me that's what I need right now because I don't have insurance so it's really a great place and I love that they have dental there and a pharmacy on site

The problem was that I was told to wait, and so I waited patiently. I sat in plain sight the whole time. I was told two hours later that by the receptionist that she had forgotten. Really.

My wife broke her wrist and a very bad elbow contusion. Traveled to Clover just to get a referral to an orthopedic surgin was also told that they would cover the bill. Just to find out from ortho that no there not ( affinity) is not going to help.Tryed calling Scott and case manager with no results these people are rude inconsiderate and just down right liets.

First visit. Agree with other reviewers, Lady at desk VERY rude. In the time it took to walk from desk to exam room, they lost me in computer system. Nurse was nice. Told me they wanted blood work done so I went down the hall and sat there for fifteen minutes when a lady asked me what I was doing there. I told her I was there for blood work and she said " We don`t have any orders for you." So I had to go back to nurses station to get them to send order. Got that fixed and on the way out, stopped at their pharmacy. After waiting twenty minutes, the pharmacist calls me over and says "This is over the counter meds. You can get it anywhere". Then why did I have to wait there? The whole reason for visit was to get a referral for a specialist that the doctor said was good. After a week I called the specialist office and they said NO ONE ever called in the referral! Complete waste of time, start to finish.

I have been to this facility twice now both times that I have been they have not done what they were supposed to do. 1st time went there was for lab work and physical and they were supposed to do labs and get me the results I had to call twice for it go back twice to get it for it to be right. 2nd time I went was to be treated for an infected abscess (which I found out later was in grown hair) I was there for 3 1/2 hours and all they done was give me an antibiotic and sent me home and tell me do hot compresses and was supposed to give me something for pain but never sent prescription over. So the next morning I was worse so I called after hours line told them I was worse and having reactions to antibiotics and they said they would pass info along to doctor I saw and have them call me back. I waited an hour and had to call them had to leave message for call back, nurse called and I told her what was going on she said she was going to check with dr and call me back when she did all she said that dr told her was there was nothing they could do for me I had to go to the ER. So I went to the ER to get treated and the doctor there said it was something they could have done in the office they must of just not wanted to. So instead of it costing me my $25 copay it cost me $400. Then I needed a follow up visit on Monday to remove a gauze and the hospital called affinity for me to schedule it and held on phone for 35 minutes and was told they had nothing and couldn't get me in. So needless to say I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK HERE!!! They did not treat me as needed, did not give me meds needed and cost me $375 more than should have and won't even try to help me. Done

After going here, I see why people don’t get tested for STDs. I live in Charlotte and I saw online that they do testing for STDs for free on Fridays from 8 to 4. I love my job at 3:15 to get there by four and drove over 30 minutes just for them to tell me there’s one person ahead of me and they won’t be done by 4 PM so I needed to come back. If you can just STD testing from 8 to 4 and somebody comes in before four I would think that she would go ahead and tested but actually they prefer to be done with the testing by 4 PM. If this is the case they need to change their website to reflect it because the website just says that testing is done between those times And now that I’ve driven over 30 minutes to come here I’m upset that my gas and time was wasted. I then asked the front desk receptionist and she knew a place in the Charlotte area that they conduct the testing so I don’t have to drive as far next time, and she knew nothing.

I dislike the attitude the hispanic lady at the front desk gives me ( I don't know her name) whenever I ask her a question. Shes nice to everyone else though apparently; just not to me. And because of that reason I rate this place a 2. And the service is slow, but that's expected for a place like this.

I’m usually a very understanding person and will let something so little slide but I couldn’t believe what I was having to deal with. It was on Thursday April 11th 2019 at 345pm and she was sitting closest to the wall.

If it wasn't for ivy and artrice I would've gave up on life along time ago. artrice is so much more than a case manger to me and she means more to me than she will ever know!!! she's truly a blessing to me and I'll be forever grateful for having her in my life!!!! the best case manger in the world

Catawba care is now called Affinity Health. my best friend where there to the dental clinic to have her teeth cleaned and one pulled and they decided that they were going to do a call of her bad teeth to get her dentures and they were going to pay in full. well the day she went to have her teeth pulled they pulled all her teeth it was a mouth full of gauze and no teeth now three months later decided after pulling all her teeth they were not going to pay for the dentures

Less than two months ago, I arrived in this wonderfully, peculiar South Carolina community. WHY Rock Hill, South Carolina? Starting anew and alone, with less than nothing (yet with more than everything, I'll get to that part) rebuilding one's life in a place in which I am quite literally "a stranger in a strange land" is inexplicably daunting. It tests every part of the soul, jackhammering down to the bone of sanity, exposing the fiber of nerves connecting and interweaving a faith I cannot see, blasting into the very marrow orbiting the soul, demanding I walk by faith and not by sight. That said... Please forgive the lengthy pretext to my review of the DYNAMIC Affinity Health Care Center. But it was very necessary as a testament to this marvelous establishment and each magnificent individual who works to ensure that every patient's health and most importantly LIFE are actually valued here. I am not treated according to my LACK of health insurance. There is no contempt or condemnation or judgment for my present lack of income. Each time I've walked through the doors of Affinity, the atmosphere and the hard working staff greet me with the highest affirmation of all: I am a human being. And my life is valued because of that alone. Not for what I can or cannot pay. When I had the very best health insurance, the network of providers never once matched the comprehensive level of personal medical care I have received at Affinity. And I've NEVER in my entire life had any doctor BE IN THE ROOM FIRST-as in before the patient! Life happens. And so does death. The death of not only our loved ones, but the staggering death of financial security and independence and all the trappings that come with it: Careers, homes, cars, income, social status, etc. Nonetheless, death has provided me the wondrous lens with which I am now learning to fully appreciate the life Christ Jesus has given me and the unexpected angels He encamps around me to receive His gift of love through others...including the team at Affinity. Can never seem to get in to see Dr.Charles when I really need to I have been calling for 4 days and still can't get in then the receptionist going to tell me you can come sit for 3 hours if you want to see him. I guess I have to die before I can be seen. Never had such horrible service from a Dr office and especially with my health.

I DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE ANY STARS . I SHOWED UP ON TIME FOR MY APPOINTMENT!! Stood in line to let them know I was there and by the time the people in front of me got waited on They assumed i was late and GAVE AWAY MY APPOINTMENT before they even knew or cared to know i had been there waiting in line . And from my experience Most if not all have at least a 10 min waiting period before they just hive your appointment AWAY. I waited 45 min still and never got seen by a Doctor it was very poor and no concern to how important my medical condition was or the time i took to come to them to be treated by medical professional there was NOTHING PROFESSIONAL ABOUT THEM . I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED AND CANT BELIEVE HOW THEY JUST GAVE MY APPOINTMENT AWAY . THAT I HAD ALREADY WAITED A MONTH FOR I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE . AND SUGGEST IF YOU DO GO THERE MAKE SURE YOUR 30 MIN EARLY BEFORE THEY JUST DISMISS YOUR MEDICAL CONDITION AND GIVE YOUR APPOINTMENT AWAY TO SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE THEY LIKE TO CHIT CHAT INSTEAD OF TAKE CARE OF THERE PATIENTS . HORRIBLE HORRIBLE LAZY RECEPTIONIST.

First time going today. Really impressed with this clinic. Called in the morning and got a same day appointment. The medical assistant, Maricela, & NP, Gerald, were very kind and helpful. The pharmacy that is located inside was also convenient. The ladies at the pharmacy were nice as well. I would def recommend this place; affordable & quick.

Catawba care is now called Affinity Health. my best friend where there to the dental clinic to have her teeth cleaned and one pulled and they decided that they were going to do a call of her bad teeth to get her dentures and they were going to pay in full. well the day she went to have her teeth pulled they pulled all her teeth it was a mouth full of gauze and no teeth now three months later decided after pulling all her teeth they were not going to pay for the dentures

Less than two months ago, I arrived in this wonderfully, peculiar South Carolina community. WHY Rock Hill, South Carolina? Starting anew and alone, with less than nothing (yet with more than everything, I'll get to that part) rebuilding one's life in a place in which I am quite literally "a stranger in a strange land" is inexplicably daunting. It tests every part of the soul, jackhammering down to the bone of sanity, exposing the fiber of nerves connecting and interweaving a faith I cannot see, blasting into the very marrow orbiting the soul, demanding I walk by faith and not by sight. That said... Please forgive the lengthy pretext to my review of the DYNAMIC Affinity Health Care Center. But it was very necessary as a testament to this marvelous establishment and each magnificent individual who works to ensure that every patient's health and most importantly LIFE are actually valued here.
