I originally went to the Coastal Medical in Providence. It was terrible, so I switched to Cranston where I met and followed Amy Berrol PA when she moved to the Wakefield office- until she retired.This is the only Coastal Medical of the 3 that the ENTIRE staff is always nice; whether it's on the phone or in person. The medical assistants/nurses/secretaries are all fantastic. I've only ever seen Dr.Slade and Amy Berrol PA with the exception of a few sick visits when I saw Dr.Gonzales. Dr. Slade is one of the most down to earth, caring, kind, and nicest doctors I have ever met. His bedside manner is something you almost never find. Dr. Gonzales is also an incredibly sweet and bubbly woman, very friendly and informative. The other two reviewers are also correct in saying that they don't rush you out the door. I have never left the office wondering what was said, because I was always given the opportunity to ask as many questions as I needed to understand, and this has been my experience with all the staff. The bottom line, this place is a GEM of a doctors office and I will probably continue to go here until I'm too old to drive the distance. :)
