I always feel like they go above what they need to do to help me out with any issue I may have !

Dr. Stienmetz my primary care doctor, I often see the Physician nurses for routine care as well. I see every 3 months or so for 5 years, and unfortunate for myself I am sick several times yearly. I have never been rushed in an appointment for routine or sick visit. The nurse assistants are professional and personable. I have felt the practice to be a safe haven where I am respected so much that I feel able to be honest with my personal demons which can affect health and prescriptions. The complaints about office are due to Bigger national issues with healthcare. I mean cmon 10 thousand different health plans they have to figure out and bill correctly. The staff do their best non judgementally. To get the best care, use their portal where you can easily view appointments, your test results, and ask for presription refills or appointments OR even express your concerns to your primary care. No B.S, I almost never rate anything 5 stars. Jerry

Dr Steinmetz has been my primary care for a long time now. He’s very attentive and knowledgeable, and NOT one to over diagnose or over medicate. And he’s healthy in his own life, so he practices what he preaches. Great staff, can’t really complain about spending time in the waiting room, that’s just part of how it goes in a busy office. I’ve never had any problems with Greg or any of the staff, like a certain reviewer. But hey, bad experiences happen everywhere once in a while.

Hands down the worst place to go, and I don’t even know where to start. I’ve been going here since I was younger for regular visits. As an adult I started getting prescribed a controlled medication by the same doctor I had been seeing for years, and each visit every 2 months, it was as if I was a brand new client!! My OWN doctor couldn’t remember me as a patient. This was becoming exhausting as she was making me go in more often than necessary for meds just because she couldn’t remember facts. I have walked out on at least every single doctor in this office after waiting over an hour and a half - 2 hour past my appointment time. But what really put me over was this last appointment. I have been very sick and finally got an appt, and specified for an early one. Well, congrats you gave me an early appointment! But not so useful when almost 2 hours later, I still haven’t even seen a doctor! Even better, when I finally did, it wa s when I was walking out. And what did she do instead of, maybe, apologizing? Throw her hands up and roll her eyes and walk away. To say the least this place is never on time and could care less.

I came to Assoc in Primary Care as a patient experiencing severe chest pain. They squeezed me into their schedule right away the same morning, did an EKG, and I met with Olga Federenko, one of their Nurse Practitioners. She was fantastic and thorough and ordered followup bloodwork. The lab for blood draws is right next door in the same parking lot, so A+ for convenience! I’ve been back several times since, and each appointment has started on time or within 5 minutes. The staff are friendly and pleasant, from checking in to pay copays, to checking out and booking future appointments, everyone seems to work well together, and it appears (from my experiences) that they are careful with their hiring to avoid unpleasant staff. With such a busy office, I would imagine that missed appointments greatly affect their efficiency and ability to meet with patients in need, and it is customary for medical offices of all kinds to charge a fee for missed appointments without 24 hours notice. APC is great. I’m happy to have found a PCP so close to home who take my health seriously. Thank you!

Perhaps twenty years with Doctor Kerzer and his assistants. This has always been the experience I would have hoped for. So many friends and family have sad stories about their providers, and I feel selfish that all my experience is top notch. Doctor Kerzer takes all the time required, is a great listener and very good at explaining whats going on. AND.... has always referred me to the perfect specialist for my heart surgery, hand surgery, hernia surgery and dermatology, etc. Great at follow up and the staff and provider portal are quick and thorough to respond to any request. No overreach, no underconcernment. Just ideal!

Always overbooked. You will wait forever. They dont take anything you say seriously. Dr. Kersser is a total joke.... they litterally only care about you if you are making them money... they charge you for things that they arnt supposed to, and then argue with you about it. Terrible front desk service always with an addituide. Screw this place... all the other reviews are so accurate ... never go here.

I recently went in for a job interview, during my interview Crystal asked if I am a crier then explained to me that they can't hire a crier because they have had too many; she said Dr. Kerzer is a screamer and LIKES his staff to feel scared of him! She explained that they have a very high turnover rate and she needs to fix this, as she was only promoted to this position in February. She asked me to come in to shadow for 4 hours and explained that the 4 hours would be slow along with the following week because they have a shorter staff due to vacation and maternity leave. (Also mentioned of the front office staff none of them have been the more than 6 months) I went in that Friday from 8-12, Nico confirmed the Dr. Kerzer statement about his awful demeanor and how he will yell at his staff but for me to know it is just his personality. I spoke with Crystal before I left, she asked me how I liked it, what I was looking for for pay and how soon could I start. I answered her questions and she told me she would contact me Monday afternoon with the decided pay rate and start date. At this time I haven't heard back so I emailed her for clarification and she said they are reviewing candidates and she would get back to me shortly (still nothing). I am posting this so people know what they will go through to work here and to help those that have noticed the turnover at the office and can't understand why... Very unprofessional, unwelcoming staff. My suggestion is to get as far away from here as possible.

They seem to help but never delivered any thing well. Do not go there if you have pain and tell them. That is something that they will not help you with. I do not want a doctor I have to be dishonest with. Not received the help I need.

Amazing staff ever, always greated with friendly smiles. Really care for you as a person and family highly recommended!!

After 3 scheduled appointments of waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time to see the doctor I have decided to find a physician that is more considerate of my time. I am a mental health professional and have NEVER required any of my patients to wait beyond 5-7 minutes (typically start on time) for their schedule appointment with me; their time is just as valuable as mine!

David Langlois

By far the most unprofessional staff I have ever seen at a doctors office. Neither the office staff nor the medical staff care about their patients. They are more concerned with billing your insurance and getting you in and out than solving problems.

Destroyer9938_ Fortnite

My primary doctor asked one of her apprentice to look at me while she's busy talking to a friend. And then that's it.Done and i paid my co pay. Unprofessional..

Heather Skerry

Absolutely horrible experience again for the THIRD time. Waited again way past my appointment had to leave then tried to call to reschedule appointment was put on hold and then the front desk was very unprofessional. You don’t argue with a patient I work in healthcare and that is not how you treat a patient. Informed them I no longer need to reschedule and that I would be transferring else where.. front desks response was fine.

I've been a patient for a long time. Julie is great but the office is a joke. Two months ago Julie ordered the event monitor for me but there were a couple of people ahead of me on list. After me following up multiple times and it being sent for repair in the middle there sometime I was finally told to come in to get it this weekend. Thankfully I called to confirm because AGAIN it is not in the office. I'm not sure if it went to another patient or what. Having only one event monitor is ridiculous enough, but the straight up refusal to send me to Kent or another facility to get one since obviously they can't get it together to get me this monitor is just straight up neglectful. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Paul Thomas

Excellent practice. Front office staff is always cordial and helpful, even when very busy. Medical staff is very professional and always takes as much time as needed.

Officially not a patient here anymore yay !! They told me they would not see me anymore because I won't attend their required two meetings a year for anxiety and pain management classes. The doctor told me he is going more into hollestic care and does not want people one medication. You have someone with anxiety attended meeting to talk about their issues, think about it.

Staci DeBlois

i've been going to APCM since I was a child. I've been seeing Julie Rousseau and she's great. I don't mind wait times when it leads to quality care and i feel that's what I get. this office has met all my healthcare needs and i'd happily recommend them to anyone else, and will take my own children here some day.

Dr Steinmetz is excellent with his attentive care to his patients. He is knowledgable, compassionate, and understanding with his patients. Responds promptly to ant question I might have via the patient portal. I highly recommend him for your care.

First off they say they are looking for new patients, not sure why, they are too busy to handle the ones they have. I was/am now looking for a DO and I saw Dr. Kerzer had some good reviews. I made an appointment to have a physical done because my Dr. moved away. I went there at 1:30 for a 2pm appointment because I figured there would be paperwork. I did not get taken in for height and weight til AFTER 3 and that was with a young girl. Then I am brought to an examining room where I wait 10 minutes more and a nurse practitioner comes in and tells me she is doing the appointment, MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH THIS DR. AND I DON'T GET TO MEET HIM. I tell Julie the NP that I have waited over and hour and her answer is, we can reschedule. I say no go ahead and she does the appointment schedules blood work and says they will send me an email, that was over 4 weeks ago. I call today, between the hours that is published on their website that says someone will answer. I chose that option only to get a message saying someone will respond in 24-to 48 hours. I have no idea how Dr. Kerzner is as a Doctor because he could not be bothered to meet a new patient. I don't know about the rest of you, but in my business I take the time to meet at least talk to new customers. Which makes me say Dr. Kerzner is too busy to be advertising new patients. Tho maybe he needs all the new patients to pay for all the technology he uses to not have to actually meet with patients or talk with them. If you like Dr's who have no time for you, this is the place for you

If I had not come here I may have had thyroid cancer for months/years. My Doctor found symptoms and scheduled an appointment with a specialist at R.I. Hospital and am now cancer free (3years). I cannot thank him and his staff enough. Sorry about the problems you may have had with Asso. in Primary Care but I would recommend them to anyone.

Dennis Lambert

Well run professional operation. Pleasant, friendly people. Highly recommended.

James Huber

I have been going to this practice for over 4 years now. I always get the highest quality and comprehensive healthcare when I go. Back in 2016 they sent me for a biopsy of a nodule in my thyroid and found it was cancerous. They made sure to get me the best surgeon to remove my thyroid and followed through every step with me. Today I am doing well and continue to get outstanding care from this practice. I can't say enough good things about them. The only negative I can say is that sometimes you can have a long wait to see the doctor. I feel this is because the doctors here tend to every need of their patients and do not hurry them along. I know this because that is how I am treated. They always listen to my every need and answer all of my questions. The staff is also amazing! They always greet me with a friendly smile. I do recommend Associates in Primary Care for primary health care.

Malak El-Sayed

The worst primary care I’ve ever had the misfortune of visiting. They have no regard for their patients or their well-being. On 2 different occasions I had broken bones and was forced to wait for hours in a waiting room, treated like a drug seeker until x-rays confirmed my breaks (I’m a regular patient here!! The doctor thinks this because she can never remember me), and follow up appointments were never scheduled. Avoid this doctors office at all cost. There is not a single MD available at this office, only nurse practitioners which I find extremely unprofessional.

These people don't even deserve a one-star review if there was a zero star review that would be wonderful I went there as a new patient I explain to them the bad experiences I had at CCAP and they took me in as a new patient I went to my appointment I missed one appointment because they had the wrong phone number and basically I never got a confirmation and I thought that my appointment was on a different date that got resolved however it seems to have gone on my record quotation marks because as a matter of fact I asked them whether they were going to help me out with the multiple medical problems that I have and it seems that they were not interested in helping me with my medical problems I have anxiety I have depression I have a incontinence from bowels and bladder I am homeless and even though I have insurance these people have actually decided to treat me like I'm yesterday's garbage we're not treated as patients here we're treated as a piece of s*** a dollar sign to tell you the truth. To make it more to the point I had tried to make an appointment with a therapist missed my appt due to tropical storm Jose, did not call as I thought that they would understand I was an hour away and I was called two days later and them knowing that I'm on unemployment and homeless, telling me that they were going to charge me $60 because I missed the appointment during the tropical storm of Jose where they were 50 mile an hour winds I was an hour away I never called because I figured they would understand I guess they didn't because I received two letters one after another stating that I was not going to be a patient there any longer I called and the office manager only hummed and hawed and didn't give me any explanation did not care had no compassion had no empathy stated that it's our strict office policy!!! they don't care about you as a patient you can have cancer you can have something you're dying from and they will throw you out on the street these are awful people these people should not be practicing none of them should be and then you call and try to get an explanation and try to get the health department to do something about it they don't do anything about it maybe we should ask the health department why they're protecting Dr kerzer and Dr Steinmetz and everyone else in that practice because that should not be allowed in this human world human world is actually about compassion and empathy and taking care of others not throwing somebody out on the street here you go good luck to you who gives a s*** if your homeless if you don't have anything if you have limited funds if you don't have any money to pay us if you don't come to your appointment or they are just going to make something up to make you look like a piece of garbage this is my experience and I will continue to give this experience to everyone else I hope none of you go to this practice because they suck
