Incredible doctor with an amazing staff. Always seeks all the information before addressing a treatment plan. I recommend this practice. To the "family birdie" one review star is a FAKE REVIEW. The profile only has 2 reviews and has not seen Dr. Thomas. The reviewer is just basing his/her view off of what they read from someone else. Everyone in the public eye has haters.

Love this place and we've looking high and low for a doctor that matches our views. Hes very pro parents choice which being the mother is an absolute must for me. Dont listen to the bad reviews. If you want a say in your childs healthcare go with this doctor. No doctor should be pro prescriptions (solve one problem cause 5 more). Allot of health issues can be solved with diet change and even alleviated with such changes. Yes not everything but allot can be. Living in a country with such a high amount of illness and disease and such a huge amount of prescription drugs being prescribed and less nutrition needs met. Its safe to assume that diet changes can help dramatically.

Always get same day sick visits and the doctors are always willing to explore all the possibilities and ways to treat. I love that the answer is not always another pill or prescription but is often a much simpler solution. They helped me treat my sons ADHD with a diet change and some simple vitamins and he is a whole new kid. Love this practice!

My sons had back to back appointments at this clinic and instead of taking the full time with each one, the doctor instead rushed them both through at the same time. They didn't even take the time to help my kids read the standard eye chart, instead told me it would be more convenient for them to use an ocular screening device (without notifying me that it would cost an additional $130). To add insult to injury this device proved inaccurate when I followed up with our optometrist the following week). A mere 15 minutes later we walked out of the clinic and later I received a bill for $650. For two basic well child checkups, no vaccines given. Unfortunately due to a loophole my insurance only covered a portion of this bill and the billing office was politely inflexible. After being predisposed to love Integrative Pediatrics because it was highly recommended by many of my friends in the vaccine choice community, I am convinced the only reason this is a popular clinic is because vaccines aren't pushed as hard as other places. They are twice as expensive as other pediatrician offices and the care was no better than with our previous pediatricians.

Dr Thomas and staff have gone ABOVE and BEYOND for our family. They have listen to my new parent concerns, always ask me if I have additional questions or need anything else. They never make my fears of decision seem silly or undervalued. I wouldn't take my daughter anywhere else. They also offer after hours Urgent care so I'm not stuck sitting in an ER for hours with an infant. Additional there office has a sick waiting room and a well child waiting room!! They are always looking for ways to keep healthy kids healthy! I LOVE IT!

Dr. Paul is my children’s pediatrician. My children are vaccinated, as he recommends. Ignore the ignorant labels, he is not anti-vax. He is pro-Vaccine and even offers the flu shot! He offers an alternate schedule that spaces out vaccines. He is the author of are really great book, called the Vaccine Friendly Plan.

We have never had a bad experience with Dr Paul. He has been my son's pediatrician for over 3 years. We are always met with kindness from him. He has never once pressured us about vaccines - either pro or against - but simply provides us all the data we need to make an informed decision. Incompetent nursing staff. Horrible quality patient care. Twice they scheduled appointments for us to get vaccines and twice we showed up and they said they didn’t have the vaccine! Plus, one nurse lied about weight and the other nurse was completely rude when asking for advice. I do like Sara, but the clinic has been going down hill for the last 1-2 years.

It is shameful that Dr. Paul Thomas is allowed to practice medicine. Not only do his views endanger our community, they literally endanger the children's lives he is supposed to serve. He pushes pseudo-science at the expense of his patients and is a disgrace to the medical profession.

We have had our kids mystery medical issues looked into in Omaha and Sacramento. Tons of genetic testing and food journals and weekly appointments... I was so overwhelmed. We came in to meet Dr Olson at Integrative Health about a month after we moved to Vancouver Wa (Portland). Just by looking at the previous genetic testing she was able to recognize what was causing my kids to be Failure to thrive. My oldest is 8 years old- I went 8 years of chaos and testing, and in 20 minutes she had an answer and confirmed it with a blood test. The whole staff was patient with this tired mama and her 3 boys. They were so supportive. I gave up qualifying for free state health care bc we didnt want to lose being apart of this amazing medical team. I also drive almost 50 minutes in traffic from east vancouver to west portland just to be seen here! They are worth it for sure.

This guy is an anti-vaxxer and a threat to public health. it is inexcusable for a doctor to claim that vaccines are linked to autism when the study that originally made that finding has been proven to be not only false but a complete fabrication, and its author stripped of his medical credentials. We need tougher laws getting rid of exemptions to vaccination requirements and throwing parents in jail until their kids are vaccinated if they don't obey the law.

My wife had to cancel an appointment do to a work emergency and we were hit with a $150 fee for a canceled appointment. They must be pretty hard up if there charging $150 for a missed appointment. I have been taking my son there since he was born. Time to find a new Dr. It’s a shame to really like Dr Thomas.

I find it strange when quite a few reviewers is calling Dr Paul Thomas an “anti-vaxxer, nut job, believe in magic”. Well... if you read his book ‘The Vaccine Friendly Plan’, you know very well he is not an anti-vaxxer. First he encourage parents to vaccinate their kids, but only take precautions if they have a history of autism in their family. He practically stated in his book that you should get the appropriate vaccines, but miss the ones that is not needed (risk vs benefits). I find it mind blowing people go all out ridicule anyone, parents, cause they are concern with their own child. Doesn’t anyone see the logic it’s only natural to research the best they can for their own kids? Then blindly following the consensus, even if it’s right or wrong, and ridicule others to “think” for their own.

We are not even patients of Dr. Thomas, but we ordered his book, The Vaccine Friendly Plan. My husband and I had a question regarding our new baby and the vaccine schedule we are following in the book, and Ashley who works for Dr. Thomas was so friendly and helpful! If only we lived in Oregon...

I have very mixed feelings about Dr. Thomas, I like his philosophy and his approach to pediatrics. I love the nurses and staff at his office. BUT he never remembers us from visit to visit, even if we are at a follow up for something that was just a week prior. He doesn't even bother to review the chart and familiarize himself with our situation before coming into the exam room. He just barges in and introduces himself to us - every single time - as if he has never met us. I have decided that this is something I am not going to overlook. If he can't be bothered to look over my daughter's chart and do a few minutes of prep before walking in the exam room, I no longer want her to be a patient. The best thing about him is his PA, Mallory. She is the best and we will miss her.

Dr. Thomas is obviously a very busy Doctor. I know a lot of people who take their kids there and love him. What I love about him and his office is the way they integrate the medical doctor practice with natural medicine and nutrition. It is a very practical approach. Dr. Thomas is very well researched practitioner, and is up to date on all the latest integrative approaches of getting to the root causes of diseases and behavior issues. He blends that nicely with pharmaceutical medicine, when it is needed. Perhaps what I love most about his team is their ability to listen to me as a parent. If you have done your own research, he will listen to your concerns. If you have not done research, prepare to be educated. A great practice for families who want a little more than your typical medical practice.

We've been with Dr. Thomas for several years now and he is amazing. He uses both natural medicine and modern medicine to give you healthy options for caring for your child. Antibiotics aren't always necessary and he knows when to avoid them and when to prescribe them. My kids are extremely healthy and I believe it's because his advice is sound and he listens to a parent's concerns and personal choices to blend the perfect care for each child.

Dr. Thomas is a great doctor who is actually honest about medications, vaccines, and individualizing care plans based on each child. He’s not looking to get rich off of forcing vaccines on kids and he will give you the manufacturer inserts from vaccine cases to read for yourself - he’s not a sheep who pushes vaccine rhetoric down your throat. The office is clean, organized, and labs are done fast. The negative reviews are likely from socialists who don’t respect individual autonomy and/or have kids. Dr. Thomas is for vaccines, but not at the expense of informed consent. Since there is no “scientific evidence” that the current CDC vaccine schedule is safe, he tailors vaccines to individual health and genetics because one size fits all is ridiculous.

I am not a patient of Dr. Paul however, everyone who makes judgement bc of (antivax) is simply ridiculous and should worry about themselves! If you physically had a terrible experience then your reviews are relevant to an extent!! We were surprised by the lack of professionalism displayed by both the Dr Thomas and his staff, they just didn't seem like qualified medical providers in both the comments they made, their overall demeanor, and the office environment they had created. We ended up at Pediatric Associates of the NW and in every respect had a better experience.

My son caught Mono and Strep over the weekend and Dr. Thomas was able to fit us in without an appointment. He was so fantastic with my terrified son. He had a constant smile and was so positive and funny. He kept things light and tried to get to know my son, which helped both my son and I to feel at ease even though we both were pretty worried what the labs would reveal. Oh and the tests, he took labs and we got the results within 15 minutes! I found out later that my son had the largest, most swollen tonsils that Dr. Thomas had ever seen! He set us up with antibiotics and some of his own pediatric immune builder, my son was feeling me ch better in no time. He is seriously the best pediatrician I have ever even heard of!!!!! Thank you tremendously, Dr. Thomas!!!!

Darn. I live in Astoria, have been watching Dr. Paul on YouTube, and was really thinking when I move to Tigard I'd have him be my kiddo's doc. Anti-vax though?? Dangit. So disappointing, so disheartening. Measles are on the rise in Portland because of anti-vaxxers, and a PEDIATRICIAN is telling people to not get vaccinated? Holy.... That's too bad.
