Absolutely the worst urgent I have ever been to. The staff aren't competent to do their job. The nurse on duty Saturday September 28th was beyond awful. Can't remember her name but she was short, on the heavier side, with a bad limp. She was rude and without even allowing a doctor to see me they denied to treat me due to a car accident. They insisted that I go to the ER instead of treating me there (which is far more expensive and I explained my concerns and she kept repeating that I was threatening her.) No lady, I was not threatening you and it is ILLEGAL to deny treatment. I have health insurance and they kept saying I had to charge it as a Motor Vehicle accident and needed the other persons insurance prior to treatment. Well hello, I have MEDICAL insurance and the insurance provider will fight for that. It is not the front desks job to determine that especially when I am covered. This place is looking for a lawsuit. BAD BAD BAD BAD SERVICE. So I went to the ER and you know what Dr. Brown at River Bend hospital said, " Why didn't you go to URGENT CARE?" Thank you Dr. Brown at RiverBend for saying the EXACT same thing that I tried to do. Oregon Medical Group - Crescent Medical Clinic needs to be re-evaluated to be open for business. I will be sending this information to the State Medical Board.

I would not recommend using Oregon Medical Group at all. The lack of empathy and understanding is surreal. Extremely disappointed and beyond glad I have found care elsewhere.

My husband and I always use this urgent care because they are great! The moment we walk in we are greeted by very friendly staff and throughout the whole process everyone is very helpful and kind. It has always been this way and I don’t understand why anyone would give them a bad review! We live in Springfield and drive to Eugene just to go to the same clinic. There might be some good ones in Springfield but why even chance it and be disappointed?

I've been here multiple times, and think I've finally learned my lesson. First experience I went in with a high (103.7 fever) ear pain and off balance. I was told I simply have a head cold and sent home. Came back after symptoms worsening, was given amoxicillin and sent home. Came back again because I lost all hearing in that ear, was finally given a stronger antibiotic that helped. My most recent experience was for a UTI that I was not able to get into my usual office for, was told urine was clean but they would send it to culture for further testing where it "grew a small amount of bacteria, but was not enough to be considered an infection". I was told to simply stay hydrated untill my symptoms subsided. The doctor for what ever reason assumed she had the wrong room upon first look at me, and after giving useless home remedy advice simply left the room abruptly dismissing the appointment. After leaving I decided to go to the new urgent care at valley river, where they found in fact I was positive for a UTI. This place shouldn't even be in practice. Don't waste your time

Highly recommend Dr Lash and his Assistant Danielle. Hands down the best care we’ve had for our daughter.

Predatory billing practices, unprofessional staff, worst medical care I've ever recieved. --- Don't be fooled by their "Now" clinic nonsense. They will bill like a regular office visit, not Urgent Care, so be prepared to pay through the nose for their terrible service if you can't get anywhere else. And don't count on the front office staff to be honest and clear with you about it. It's almost like they get a bonus for trying to get as much money out of you as possible. Their billing office has no accountability to anyone, apparently. Every time I've called to try to figure out a bill they've been rude; the manager is always "at lunch" or "on break." The drones on the phone are really good at the company line, but useless and rude otherwise. Not to mention the bedside manner of every doctor and nurse I've met so far is terrible. Just one example: I went in with a painful, inflamed rash in a "sensitive" area. I was treated to rough man-handling of the biggest bundle of nerves in the human body. When I said ouch and closed my knees in reaction, the MALE doctor glared and told me "It doesn't hurt that much. You'll need to suck it up or I can't continue the examination." (Because he's had a cliterous and would know what is painful.) The nurse looked disgusted, but didn't say anything.

I hate to say it but "patient care" at this office (Crescent) is non-existent. I used to see Dr. Byfield, who was fantastic, but he switched to the Urgent Care / NOW Clinic. A couple of other excellent doctors at this office also switched to the Urgent Care / NOW Clinic. Over the last 3-1/2 years the doctor who replaced Dr. Byfield has apparently developed an "I don't care" attitude and gives NO patient care. I inquired about switching to another doctor who might actually care about patients within this office and to my shock the doctor I see now was considered the best - heaven help the patients of the other doctors. Even my wife, who sees the same doctor, had a horrible experience today when she returned for a follow-up visit and then today was told, after she was there, the test she supposedly needed wasn't necessary for "2 or 3 more years"!!! Well, he served OMG well by generating charges for an unnecessary office visit, the same he did to me in November. In my opinion, if you want competent medical care I would suggest going to Peace Health or somewhere else; I know I'm probably switching after 30 years of being an OMG patient unless I find a REAL doctor at OMG. Heck, I'll probably switch anyway simply because of the questionable billing practices OMG has. As a note, I have refrained from naming the doctor out of some respect for him as others might be happy with his care. Unfortunately from what I have seen this review could apply to quite a few of the doctors at the Crescent office though as I have seen many of the other doctors there.

Great doctors and support staff. We drive across town for this clinic

Howard Malcolm

Terrible service. I was treated like a piece of meat and the only thing they were interested in was my wallet. Waited over an hour and never saw a doctor. They did not know why I was there despite several communications. They were not only ignorant, unprofessional and poor but clearly did not care about the welfare of their patient. If I could give negative starts, I would.

My husband and I have been here several times and have received great service each time. They've helped with sinus infections, strep throat, and shingles. Caring staff and doctors, and very prompt service. Great way to avoid an ER bill if you don't have a regular doctor.

Relatively quick service for walk-in patients. Friendly staff helps to make the experience better. Local blood draws when necessary. It's a great clinic for non emergency situations.

We absolutely love the Crescent Clinic! We are always able to get an appointment when we need one, and are seen by our appointment time, if not sooner. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. And Dr. Lash is amazing! He is always in-the-know when it comes to our son, up to date on his chart and asks follow up questions from previous visits. We appreciate that he also always takes the time to listen to our concerns and takes them seriously. Such an amazing doctor! And his assistant Danielle is amazing as well. She is so kind and handles our son so well. We recommend this team to everyone with a baby!! Or anyone seeking a medical practice for that matter.

I have been going to Oregon Medical Group for many years and have always had great care here. In and out on appointments, not waiting forever in the waiting room, and high quality attention to my needs.

Not Jerry but wife Kathy. Supremely disappointed. I am trying to find a doctor ANY doctor that does not have an agenda. I have conditions that need addressing. I guess I do not understand medicine today. Use to be you saw a doctor for something and it was addressed or taken care of at that visit. Not any more. I needed an exam done to understand why I have gone from having bowlegged knees to knock knees and why the veins are swelling. I was told to get a mammiogram and a colonoscopy. The dr. did not even look at anything on me at all anywhere even though I expressed concern. I was told my knee issues were arthritis and old age. Amazing that a dr. can make a diagnosis without even looking. I am now going to try one of the three integrative medicine clinics in Eugene even thought my insurance probably will not pay. At this point I am willing to fork out the money if I am shown sincere interest with my concerns. I would have given “no stars” but then I could not have written a review.

Took my newborn here for a 2 wk visit. Nurses are RUDE & very pushy. i asked her a question about my sons care & she rolls her eyes, tells me to get back in the room & slams the door behind her. I left! Called later to talk to a manager & they hung up on me 3 times! Horrible experience! I will be going elsewhere

jane pierzina

Been waiting back in the exam room now for over 45 min. Still not coming to see me and I was on time.

Susan Koch

The lobby, patient rooms and bathroom was so dirty. One of the chairs smelled like straight up pee. The doctor was nice but did not address my issue or help with it. The entire healthcare system in Oregon needs a overhaul!

Roman Kolesnikov

We have had great experience with the pediatric immediate care for our toddlers. Whenever we needed help, we could get fast appointment and care. The office hours also are very convenient, and we had appointments as late as 8:30 pm. Shopco pharmacy is literally next door and is open until 9 am. Quite convenient in case of emergency.

Kristen Brown

Quick, friendly staff

I’m leaving this review based on two separate occasions calling the Crescent office before they are closed and they have prematurely turned the phones off. Out of curiosity I tried the omg willamette now clinic...low and behold they answered their phone right up until their closing time.

This place is just awful. I came here thinking it was urgent care. Please be aware IT IS NOT. I had ripped open stitches and just needed them stiched back up. Not quite an ER worthy visit and these people made me sit there for thirty minutes before they told me they won’t take my insurance because they don’t bill like an emergency room? And then I have a HOLE in my arm and need stitches and they do not even tell me there is an actual urgent care like three blocks away. I used to be a medic and I just can’t believe the individuals that work here. I get the billing and that’s totally fine but the level of unwillingness to help point someone to the proper care facilities when in need is just so beyond unacceptable. Please do not go here. I’m in awe. Just do not use this facility. I even called ahead because I understand VA healthcare is sometimes not accepted and I wanted to make sure before going in. I was told on the phone that there was no problem at all. And then when they couldn’t see me at there immediate care clinic I was told to try going all the way back downtown Eugene.... There was an urgent care three blocks away! Your comment says your strive to be helpful, but you should maybe hire staff that align with that mentality if that’s what you’re going for.

martyleeds33

In short, they are just plain awful. Terrible service, doctors give no attention or care to customers. I literally walked in to the doctor's office and told the Dr. That I MIGHT have mold poisoning and he said to me, straight-faced, "So what do you want us to do about it?" You'd be better off caring for yourself. Save your money.

We've had to bring our boys to the OMG Crescent clinic on several occasions and we've never had a bad experience. The doctors are great, especially with kids. The wait times have also been reasonable. I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. After all, it is a walk-in clinic and sometimes that requires a little more patience and flexibility. Beats the alternative!

Megan Helwig

Today, I was incredibly impressed and grateful to OMG- Crescent Clinic. My 2 year old got nursemaid's elbow last night, and we went to an urgent care. The doctor there had a hard time popping it into place, leaving us with a toddler in pain overnight. Early this morning, I called as soon as they opened requesting any pediatrician asap. The lady on the phone got us an appointment and also recommended the walk in clinic. I wasn't too keen to wait the couple hours for our appointment, so I came for the walk in clinic. The receptionist took a look at my son, and rearranged some scheduling so that my son could be seen sooner, and by a ped. My normal ped (Dr. Sanderson, whom we love!) wasn't available, but Dr. Lash was. Dr. Lash came in calmly and readjusted his arm effectively. Instant relief after fourteen hours of pain! I have continued to be impressed at the care, empathy, and flexibility of this clinic and it's staff. I will highly recommend the pediatrician office to anyone with kids. You have a very grateful mom here, thank you.
