I had 3 wisdom teeth removed here and I had a good experience. The surgeon, Dr. Cheng, was friendly and informative and helped answer a lot of my questions. The procedure went smoothly and just as expected. Big props to Rae Bovee, the surgery assistant, who answered a lot of my questions as we were setting up. She was really friendly and informative, made me feel really comfortable, and improved my experience tremendously.

I just had my wisdom teeth removed this morning. I can't speak more highly of Dr. Cheng. He was informative during our consulation and all of the staff today was comforting and made me feel at ease. They explained each pre op stop and even made me laugh. Dr. Cheng personally called me this evening to check in. If you have anxiety about this procedure, Dr. Cheng and his staff will go above and beyond to take care of you.

I recently moved from out of state. My new dentist referred me to Head & Neck Surgical Associates to consider extraction of my wisdom teeth, plus an unrelated procedure. I have to say that, in all respects, my experience with this clinic went extremely well, including: 1. Scheduling an initial consultation and making sure all my insurance and other paperwork was in order. 2. The consultation itself. I saw Dr. Allen Cheng, and was very impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to spend all the time necessary for me to understand the information about the condition of my wisdom teeth, what might likely take place as I aged further (I am a senior citizen), and the recommendations he had given me. I will add that I was accompanied by my wife, a retired medical professional, and she was similarly very impressed with Dr. Cheng's professionalism and interaction with me. 3. As I agreed that the wisdom teeth should be removed after meeting with Dr. Cheng, and decided to "get it over with" rather than waiting very long, I next dealt with the scheduler. My appointment was set for the following week, and she also made sure I was aware of the costs involved. 4. Finally, I had my surgery and have to say that, all things considered, it not only went very well- I felt well afterwards. I was given very thorough instructions for care and pain management, and, when I had a question about that a couple days later, it was promptly answered. The bottom line is that I received excellent care from Head & Neck Surgical Associates, and recommend the clinic- and Dr. Allen Cheng in particular- to anyone seeking professional, high quality, competent medical care.

Cannot recommend Dr. Patel enough. Got two impacted wisdom teeth extracted earlier today, one was very close to nerve so slightly more tricky. Was in and out quickly with no pain during the procedure, and very little pain so far compared to my previous extraction. Staff is confident and helpful, and they even played my favorite band for the procedure. Thank you!

Referred to Dr. Patel with a neck mass. Had been passed along the system for approximately 5-6 weeks for tests and random appointments. Once I got to Dr. Patel I finally received answers and the urgency my condition warranted! His Nurse Practitioner Christine Fratangelo is absolutely outstanding! I was scheduled for surgery ASAP and necessary tests were made a priority and not delayed as previous. Dr. Patel completed a modified radical neck dissection within 14 days of my initial appointment. While I'm not a fan of the cosmetic outcome, he saved all the important nerves in my face and neck and essentially my life. No nonsense, highly educated and caring medical staff. While cancer sucks, Head & Neck Surgical Associates and their staff don't!

Dr. Cheng and his staff are absolutely amazing! I had an extensive oral surgery done there, and they were super responsive to my questions, and able to fit me in for a quick follow up within 24 hours. All the staff are nice, courteous, and super helpful. Dr. Cheng was great!

Procedure went near perfect - Textbook, I might add! Insurance covered pretty much all of it - which I was very thankful for! Dr Cheng did a great job and was a super nice guy! I remember telling him I was scared about the wisdom teeth procedure and as he was reassuring me, Darkness! The anesthesia hit- 45 minutes later, I awoke with gauze in my mouth. The recovery took about 5 days until pain and soreness dissipated to minor levels but overall, I was able to handle the pain with Ibuprofen after 2 days. It really wasn't that bad. Just follow all the instructions they give you and you'll do fine. Being new to the area, I was really worried about finding a skilled oral surgeon who could maximize my insurance benefits. Luckily, I got both! You're in really great hands with Dr Cheng!

Shameful treatment of patient. Demanding payment for $40 - while sitting in procedure room. Creating great anxiety. Do not come here. I have bloody insurance. Out if pocket maximum neatly met for the year. They do not know what I assurance will pay. Now I am going to have to hound them for to pay me back! I am literally sitting in the procedure chair writing this. I have never encountered anything like it and we are frequent flyers at doctors and hospitals with cancer treatment. Absolutely shameful..Miney grabbing surgeons. Never again!

Nobody in their right mind would choose to have any kind of dental work for fun (I think!) but the extraction of my large back molar was just about magic. When I think about the experience now I call it ‘elegant’ which I suspect is a rather unusual term to apply to dental surgery. But nothing else will really do. Dr. Cheng was wonderful. Reassuring, practical, to-the-point and fast. And, of course, skilled! His assistants, Rae and Nicole were warm and friendly, and helpful above and beyond the call of duty. Even your front desk people are great! In the days leading up to this appointment I asked for an experience that was calm, simple, easy and pain free. I hesitated to ask for a pain free experience in this case, but then I thought – why not? Actually having the tooth pulled (a process that went wonderfully quickly) wasn’t particularly comfortable, but later, after the numbing wore off, there was no pain. No pain that night. None the next day. (Although I was really tired.) And no pain now. Is it possible to have a big tooth pulled and the whole experience and its follow up is simply comfortable? Well – that’s what’s happening for me. And I think I could have asked until I was blue in the face – if your people weren’t so good there’s no way things would have gone, and continue to go, so very well. Thank you! Colleen Scott

Dr. Patel and the the staff have been terrible. I had a surgery and the staff forgot to have the post-care meeting with me on the way out the door after the surgery. I ended up in the urgent care that night. Never received any follow up calls from the staff. Staff never answers the phone when I call. I had no luck getting results of my biopsy for 2 months even after emailing, leaving voicemail, and calling. finally had to click on voicemail option "this is an emergency" to get through to somebody because it was an emergency that after 2 months I still did not hear back about the results of my biopsy to hear if it was benign or not. I felt very fragile after this surgery, as anyone would, and the staff plays a huge and important role in patient follow up. Felt like they were just trying to rush me out the door and never deal with me again. horrible feeling and experience.

Situation with my abscess tooth can be deadly, and has swollen my face. I call at 8 to talk to them, and even though the recording says thats when they open she wouldnt speak with me and even tried to say they do not open till 9. All this after showing up for an appointment I waited two hours for just to talk to someone for 5 mins!!

Absolutely the worst experience possible. I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction. They overcharged me by charging me to pull 3 teeth instead of 2...I only had 2 left! Which I had to point it out to them. The biller was rude and disrespectful and then wouldn't return any of my calls. To this day (over 3 months later) I still don't have my $150 back. Never EVER go here!

I went in yesterday and got my wisdom teeth pulled...first of all i was in and out of the office including my consult in one hour. Everyone is very nice and my surgeon pulled two of my teeth in less than a minute. They didnt break, i didnt hear horrible noises and he was super gentle with the needle! i hate shots in my mouth and i couldnt even feel them! When the novacaine wore off my mouth didnt hurt at all! i took a vicotin before hand but that eventually wore off and i didnt feel a thing...i was eating a grilled ham and cheese sandwich for lunch and i had steak for dinner! Dr. Bui and his staff were amazing.

I had my wisdom teeth removed just yesturday. The staff was so amazing, they made me feel so comfortable and at ease through the whole thing! Dr. Cheng was my doctor and he answered any questions I had and reassured me that everything will go well. When I woke up I didn't even no that he was finished it was like I just went to sleep. I just want to say thank you to all the staff! If I have to have any more work done I will Definently come back! Thank you again!

Had to get a broken tooth extracted and considering that needed done it was a pretty good experience. No wait time, the surgeon and assistants made sure I was comfortable and understood everything going on, and let me put on ant musmusic I wanted to help me relax. 20/10 would recommend for sure.

Charged me a massive amount of money for a couple of pictures. They were supposed to schedule a surgery to remove an odontoma. They never followed up. Then the doctor quit and left the state. Now they want me to start the whole process over with them a pay extra for their mistake. When I called they couldn't find the doctor's notes and then they said something about a cyst. Nope it was definitely an odontoma - I took notes, thought it doesn't sound like the doctor did. I'm sorry but if I have to start over I won't be using this company that acts so incompetently and unethically.

My wife had a surgical consultation app with Dr. Bell. We arrived 30 minutes prior to our appointment per the front desk's request. After waiting for an hour, when asked the receptionist simply told us they had no ETA when our room will be ready and "we got triple booked!" "What? They already knew the Dr already double booked and still wanted another patient wait in vain? No explanation & no apology. Take it or leave it kind of attitude, how nice!" We did what most of the customers do after being left out for 1.5 hrs in the waiting area - we left !! Thank you for such a "wonderful" experience, we will make sure to share this story with all those we know.

Dr. Patel is a master of his skill and knowledge. I am so thankful and impressed with the care I received from Dr. Patel. I had an impacted wisdom tooth way back and deep, laying horizontally in my jaw. The impacted tooth created a tumor ( thank God it was benign ) the tumor destroyed my jawbone. Dr. Patel cautioned me that there was a definite possibility that my jawbone would fracture. In that event, a titanium plate and screws would have been necessary. Dr. Patel also cautioned me about nerve damage....I have no nerve damage...my jaw did not fracture during surgery and my bone is completely regrown! Dr. Patel is the kindest and most personable person...his talent and knowledge and skill are extraordinaire! I recommend Dr. Patel and I am completely confidant you will be in the most capable hands of anywhere in the Pacific Northwest.

I had a quick consultation followed by surgery to have all four wisdom teeth removed. Everyone I interacted with (from front desk to assistants to nurses and doctors) was friendly and helpful and a pleasure to work with. It seems like Dr. Amundson and her team did a great job, considering I feel great and barely have any swelling the day after surgery (of course, your mileage may vary). Five stars all around! Plus, they have an exceptional waiting room... (You'll just have to see for yourself!)

Best wisdom teeth removal experience I think I could have possibly had. Dr. Allen Cheng was straight forward, and knew what he was doing. He even called me a couple of days after the surgery to see how I was doing. If you're looking into wisdom teeth extractions, I would highly recommend Dr. Cheng!
