Long wait time, ineffective and disinterested doctor, overpriced (they have a discount for same day payments, but did not offer to bill me during the visit), and it is literally in the dirty, back corner basement of the building. Don't recommend.

This is the WORST pediatrician office ever! 1. If you come early or even on time to your appointment you better be prepared to wait 30+ extra minutes above your appointment time. If you have an emergency they take even longer to help your child. The advice nurse never gives accurate information for the correct age of the child. Ex. She gave info to give an INFANT high doses of medicine and to try different food to test out illness. The baby is four months. They don’t care about the actual well being of their patients. Save your time and energy and don’t go here especially if you want your child to live.

My wife and I have been visiting Dr. Skau at the East Portland Pediatric Clinic since the birth of our child. Prior to childbirth, Dr. Skau was willing to meet with us to answer our questions and listen to our concerns; these types of prenatal visits aren't necessarily common, but are definitely appreciated. Additionally and more importantly, Dr. Skau is a competent and calming presence for us as first-time parents. He is able to distill academic knowledge down to common speak and balance multiple perspectives through a real-world lens. We've never had a rushed pediatric appointment and we are glad to have found him for our child.

Dr. Skau is the best doctor! He genuinely cares, and always makes me and my children feel at ease. He always explains reasons for everything and discusses options. He never talks down to me and actually listens. He has always been spot on with how to handle any health or even behavioral issues with my kids.

We have always had a great experience with Dr. Skau, my son’s primary MD. The other providers have also been great when Dr. Skau was not available. My only criticism is that the wait can be long especially at the end of the day.

Dr Skau is fantastic and takes time with his patients to understand what is going on. He is well seasoned and up to date on practice guidelines and best care. The clinic has been great about getting my kids in so I've never had to use an urgent care. It's very reassuring to have a doctor like Dr. Skau for my kids!

I have two young boys. We have seen their NP, Dr Galderesi, Dr Stillwell, Dr Skau, Dr Trece, and a newer male doctor. All are caring providers and have taken good care of our children.

My son went to see his pediatrician today. The doctor was very professional and nice, but the receptionists made me feel really uncomfortable. when I just walked in and told her that xxx was there to see the doctor, she ignored me. Then the receptionist later asked me what was my and my son' s names, and also asked me some other questions. For some how, when she asked me questions, she just couldn't look at me, and I could barely hear her voice and keep telling her to repeat her questions. Anyway, I felt like I was not welcome there. Last year in December, they had a different receptionists, who was an older lady, she was very friendly.

Dr. Stillwell was my pediatrician and now she see my children! She's amazing and I totally trust her. This clinic isn't just a place that sees your kid. They make you feel like family.

Our kids see Dr. Holsen (aka "doctow Tweece") and we have had a wonderful experience with EPPC. We have found Dr. Holsen's patience, calm demeanor and humor to be an excellent match for our kids' needs. She helped answer our incessant questions with tact and insight. As a former employee, I know what goes on behind the scenes and have the peace of mind knowing my kids are in great hands. Each doctor has a unique personality and approach to medicine. We have enjoyed working with all the pediatricians here and recommend this practice to our friends and family!

Doctor is knowledgeable. My children have been at the clinic for about 10 years. They have seen Dr. Skau & Dr. Stilwell. Biggest issue and its a biggie with 6 kids working full-time, the wait for Dr. Skau in particular. anywhere from 45 minutes in the exam room to over an hour. This is truly a lack of respect for the patient's time. And be careful not to make a comment about it, both doctor and nurses will let you know you best not complain. So much for customer service. You best know before you chose your clinic and doctor. If this is an issue for you, go somewhere else.
