I am very satisfied with all aspects of care I received from Dr. Buehler. He performed carpal tunnel release surgery,and my hand is great now! He or a staff member explained everything to my satisfaction before and after the surgery and answered all my questions. He is an exceptional surgeon and I highly recommend him for any hand surgery you may need.

A prime example of why the U.S. health care system is the 18th best in the world. Dr. Buehler was (remarkably) an hour and forty minutes late to a 9:30 appointment. He offered no apology or explanation. He showed little empathy or interest, and his only suggestion was to self medicate, as in "before I golf I usually take a couple of advil for any pain in my hands." Oh, yes, I believe I was charged $228.00 for the 12 minutes he spent with me.

I went to him to repair an old ripped arm muscle injury that had resurfaced. I told him exactly what and where the problem was. He insisted it was carpal tunnel syndrome, and pulled my middle finger once as a test. He treated me as a liar. I insisted on an MRI 6 months after going to him. He gave me a low res MRI, and the technician had written " Doesn't show the hand or wrist area at all, don't know how much good it will do " on the results. I had to call for a follow up app a week later, and he hadn't even looked at it. I took my disc of the MRI home, looked on WEbMD for the location of my pain, and in 5 minutes found ' pronator teres syndrome' , which is commonly misdiagnosed as carpal tunnel syndrome. This quake not only can't think outside of the box, he IS the box !! DO NOT go to this idiot !!

I was in and out in a timely manner. He diagnosed the problem, gave me a shot. I had relief by the next day. Wish I had gone in sooner.

All of your reviews that initially pop up say the same thing. Waste of time doctor with no advice..looks like he could be a smart guy but certainly does not show. There are better fitting jobs that get people in and out the door quicker. Never have I had a more disappointing doctor referral. Don't go!!!!

If i could give negative stars i would. He was rude, dismissive and only cared about what my insurance would cover. Not telling me my options until i asked him to take my insurance out of the equation. Even then he was reluctant to say anything and made it clear i was wasting his time. The issue being with my dominant hand, i want a Dr i trust. I will be paying out of pocket to find a better Dr than this man. Providence, you need to do better!! I ended up getting a 2nd opinion. The place i went was so much better than Providence! Do your research and believe the negative reviews of this guy. For my experience, they were spot on!

My son, a college tennis player, suffered a severly fractured wrist. Dr. Buehler was able to repair the damage and my son is back hitting tennis balls after 5 months. The office staff have been very accommodating and Dr. Buehler seems like a very caring professional.

I have had 2 separate surgeries from Dr. Buehler and I can't say enough nice things about this guy. He's not a robot, like some other surgeons I've had and the work he did on my hand was incredible. I've had two knuckle fusions. He listened to what was most important to me and fused them so I can still ride my bike, pain free, and still use my hand for everyday stuff. If there is a knuckle three surgery in my future, I know exactly who I'll go to. Thanks, Dr. B! You rule!

this doctor should go back to the school to learn again how to write a professional prescription and how to communicate to people. He opens his mouth with unprofessional words when the pharmacist verified his unclear prescriptions. He has bad temper.

There is no way that the positive reviews on here are legit. I had surgery to repair a broken pinky, snapped in half. I had to have two small pins placed. After cast was removed he had my finger x-rayed and said the pins were not straight. I said ok, so what now, he said go to physical therapy. So I did. Well that did nothing because the pins were crooked. The physical therapy was painful. I scheduled a follow up because I was experiencing shooting pains from my pinky into my elbow (which two years later I still have) he said it's not his fault and basically go away.

Dr Buehler rebuilt my elbow. I shattered it, dislocated and sat displaced for 9 days waiting for his care. He was a no-nonsense guy, he was stern with me, I appreciated that as a life-long athlete, he got me back on the podiums, even won my first cat 1 DH MTB race on my one year anniversary of the original injury. The staff was exceptionally nice and always catered to my needs. I credit Dr Buehler with 'saving' my career at age 43. I'm still in the game 3 years later.....thank you!

This "DR" spent less time with me then i spent walking from the elevator to the waiting room. Grab my hand looked at it asked me 2 questions said i need to take Anti-inflammatorys have a good day. He was out the door no fallow up no xray no suggestions nothing just drop the mic and out the door. You think he would have asked if i was taking anything or tried anything but he did not. I did get a second opinion and THANKFULLY there is and are real DRs willing to take the time and do there job. I highly recommend to NOT waste your time and money with "DR". He is to old or to tired or burned out.

Dr Buehler & his fabulous Team repaired my broken hand tendons a couple yrs ago wonderfully. last month they put my shattered radius / wrist back together no worries. best surgeon around. named his dog 'ferris' and that's funny right there : ). . . excellent!

Charges a fortune for an initial visit, spent 5 minutes with me and said I needed surgery and walked out. Pre-op was better, actually talked to me about what was going to be done. Surgery day, he was 30 minutes late because he was on the phone. The cherry...he is petty enough to charge $10 to fill out a half page questionaire for my work. He is good, but not good enough to act as he does.

He forced me back into work before my wrist was completely healed and still had two physical therapy appointments on the books. They then turned off my workers comp without any warning and I am still struggling to keep my house after the fact.

I had an awful experience with this provider. I got a ganglion cyst and my PCP referred me to this doctor. I called and made an appointment, fully explaining the reasons for it. A few weeks later I showed up to my appointment. I waited 45 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time and then I was taken back to the exam room. Dr. Buehler comes in and without even so much as a greeting, he told me that he doesn't treat ganglion cysts. Okay fine, but it would have been nice if the receptionists or someone along the line of communication would have found some way to communicate this to me as to not waste my time and money. I'm pretty sure they don't care much about their patients. When I called to talk about the bill I received, the lady in the billing department was so rude to me. Since he didn't actually examine me or talk to me, I figured that was that and I couldn't possibly be charged to NOT be seen, right? NOPE. My portion of the bill after insurance was 130 bucks. So this guy got paid to say that he won't treat me without even so much as examining me. He didn't look at my hand or ask me any questions and made hundreds of dollars for a less than 20 second interaction. So dishonest. I advise you go elsewhere.
