This clinic will not right a refill on a nasal spray that my son has been taking for years without another appointment. He just had an appt four months ago. Making money is becoming more important at this clinic than doing the right thing for children. They also bill for no show "follow up" appointments that they decide you need. Time to look elsewhere for an allergy and asthma clinic.

I was so impressed that I brought my 5 yr old daughter back for allergy evaluation and treatment. The office is beautiful. The staff is friendly. I've been promptly greeted at each visit. They are very considerate of finances and have always provided an estimate before rendering treatments, which I appreciate. What I think is most important, though, is I can feel that these people care and they are knowledgeable about what they're doing. I got an appointment within 48 hours of calling and the staff were friendly. I got in to see the nurses shortly after arriving. I found out what I'm allergic to, but I got no written instructions on using the prescriptions they gave me so I was going pretty much off memory. I also didn't feel they did a great job of explaining my sudden onslaught of serious allergies beyond anything Google had already told me. In short, fast service, a good way to find out my specific allergies, but wish I would have gotten better information after what I had paid them.

The staff are nice and friendly, but I was just turned away from my allergy appointment because I could not tell them what the specific medication out of the seven medications that they have me on that I took this morning before my shots, I also forgot to grab my EpiPen because I was late for work and they don't have any EpiPen's on site. What kind of allergy clinic doesn't carry extra EpiPen's? What are they supposed to do if someone has a severe allergic reaction and EpiPen's don't cut it? Also how do they not know what specific medication I'm supposed to take before my shots, do they not have it on my file where they can just pull it up? It's truly bizarre and perplexing.

Very informative I would recommend this place the only drawback is I had my appointment on a Monday and it was my understanding that I would be allergy tested than but I didn’t I had to come back on Wednesday of that week but it really wasn’t a big deal. If it wasn’t for coming back for that I would have given 5 stars. The staff was very friendly and more than happy to help. I would recommend to my family and friends.

I had my initial appointment with Dr. Darter yesterday. Medically, it is obvious she is extremely competent. No doubt the best in her field. Also, she is really cool and cares alot about her patients. She spent well over an hour with me. I immediately felt at ease with her and knew I was in good hands. I've had asthma for years and have had breathing problems and chronic cough that I accepted would be my cross to bear for the rest of my life. The new medications she gave, in 2 days, have given me the most relief I've had. A quick comment about her staff: totally competent and treat you like a family member. I've already recommended this clinic to my mom, a COPD sufferer. Could not be happier.

I really like Oklahoma Institute of Allergy. Dr Jason Bellak is my doctor. I had been having an issue with itchy skin for years. I was prescribed (by another doctor) a cream to stop the itching, but it really didn’t work very well and I would have to use a lot to stop the itching. Dr Bellak disagnosed me on my first visit and prescribed me medications that stopped the itching immediately! I’ve never had to wait long and the staff is very nice and professional.

They are always professional at this clinic. I was having migraines and had gone to a different hospital in Lawton where they had done an CT scan. That hospital said all is fine with your brain. I was thinking something is not right! But okay. Then I thought it was just allergies. But Dr. Darter sent me for an MRI. Well it came back intracranial pressure ( pressure in the brain) from a car accident I had! It can be life threatening! And they are the ones to find it! I'm very grateful to Dr. Darter

This is a terribly incompetent office and I believe they shouldn't be in business. They are random diagnosis happy and order unnecessary tests that are paid for out of pocket. The doctors and staff are genuinely unconcerned about the patient and his/her quality of life. Make sure you don't have any opinions about your own health if you are a patient, because they will be completely ignored as this office has their own money making agenda as a priority. If you do voice your opinions regarding your treatment, especially if they are contrary to the doctor's opinion, be prepared to find a new doctor because this office discards their patients.

I went in for allergy testing and after it was all said and done, I was told I needed allergy shots to control my allergies to dogs and cats. Over a period of about a year I would go in and get my weekly then monthly shot and every time I would have a reaction. This was brought to the nurses and doctors attention and still nothing was done, the reactions continued. Once I got pregnant I decided that the shots could no longer continue because of the reactions and when I went in to seek answers the nurses and doctors seemed surprised that I was even getting the shots as my allergy tests showed my allergies weren't that severe. We spent over $3,000 and a year of allergic reactions only to finally be told that I shouldn't be getting the shots in the first place? I will never be going back.

I was quickly checked in and taken back to start breathing tests. The nurse was so kind. I then went to my room and waited for the Dr, she entered before I could finish a paper the nurse had given me. She also was so kind and took the time to make sure I understood everything she was talking about. She also took the time to make a copy of the notes she took and help me get on the right track with a primary doctor. She seemed genuinely concerned about the roller coaster of doctors, some of the medication I've been prescribed and answers they'd given me. She pointed me in the correct direction. As a young adult, unsure of what to do she truly made me feel secure and confident that my health is going to be taken care of and that I can look forward to a healthier future.

On their website upon inquiring, it was stated that Dr. Darter accepted Tricare patients. This is no longer true and they have removed this. The referral was rejected. I called the office and pleaded and asked why, as my allergy symptoms are severe and for unknown causes (anaphalaxis and an ER trip). The receptionist acted like she did not know why. We are truly scared and need answers. This happened five times in May and my referral was rejected almost into July, so a long waiting game when my health is on the line. My doctor wanted me to be seen by an immunologist because of this fact. I continued to ask the receptionist if she would accept cash patients and was declined again because I was affiliated with Tricare, even though I was not going to try to use insurance. I am now out of options in my state and will need to travel out of state for care. It is incredibly disappointing that this country is insurance happy and doctors are under their spell and control. What is that oath they take in medical school again?

Until recent few months my care was exceptional. I do not feel that my infusion issues have been resolved to my satisfaction. I am supposed to get infusion every 2 weeks and recently went almost 5 weeks to infuse due to internal issues within the clinic. Got sick, no response from doc, and was left feeling that no one was concerned. I am also a cancer patient and I count on my IGG therapy to help me stay healthier to help fight my cancer. As an infusion patient I have an expectation of getting my infusions on time every time as the doctor has prescribed. They have had serious issues for about the last 7 months.

I was quickly checked in and taken back to start breathing tests. The nurse was so kind. I then went to my room and waited for the Dr, she entered before I could finish a paper the nurse had given me. She also was so kind and took the time to make sure I understood everything she was talking about. She also took the time to make a copy of the notes she took and help me get on the right track with a primary doctor. She seemed genuinely concerned about the roller coaster of doctors, some of the medication I've been prescribed and answers they'd given me. She pointed me in the correct direction. As a young adult, unsure of what to do she truly made me feel secure and confident that my health is going to be taken care of and that I can look forward to a healthier future.

The staff is amazing!!! They are courtous and actually care to get you feeling better. I spent at least an hour with the PA she did not rush me she was very concerned about how I was feelings. She listen very and then asked questions. Never cut me off like most Doctors/ PA'S Will do. I appreciated that!! She helped with samples due to i needed them before pharmacy would have ready. I would reccomend them to anyone. It's worth the 40 min drive!!!! Thank you!!!!

This was our 3rd time for my son to do his allergy testing with Dr. Darter. My 6yr OKC sid amazing and loves the staff who are friendly and helpful with him. Highly recommended. We love this place, it has solved alot of my sons health issues.

On their website upon inquiring, it was stated that Dr. Darter accepted Tricare patients. This is no longer true and they have removed this. The referral was rejected. I called the office and pleaded and asked why, as my allergy symptoms are severe and for unknown causes (anaphalaxis and an ER trip). The receptionist acted like she did not know why. We are truly scared and need answers. This happened five times in May and my referral was rejected almost into July, so a long waiting game when my health is on the line. My doctor wanted me to be seen by an immunologist because of this fact. I continued to ask the receptionist if she would accept cash patients and was declined again because I was affiliated with Tricare, even though I was not going to try to use insurance. I am now out of options in my state and will need to travel out of state for care. It is incredibly disappointing that this country is insurance happy and doctors are under their spell and control. What is that oath they take in medical school again?

Until recent few months my care was exceptional. I do not feel that my infusion issues have been resolved to my satisfaction. I am supposed to get infusion every 2 weeks and recently went almost 5 weeks to infuse due to internal issues within the clinic. Got sick, no response from doc, and was left feeling that no one was concerned. I am also a cancer patient and I count on my IGG therapy to help me stay healthier to help fight my cancer. As an infusion patient I have an expectation of getting my infusions on time every time as the doctor has prescribed. They have had serious issues for about the last 7 months.
