Horrible horrible place. Took my father there, due to insurance not covering the James. Dr. just said my father was too old to be treated. "Im so sorry." That's it. No options. Did not examine him. No tests other than bloodwork. No support. No offering of pain meds or any other care. No offer to set up any services. Just a "sorry." (We had been to the James with another family member. same age. They offered options and we chose. Also offered pain meds., antidressants, and asked what symptoms he needed help with. Also offered support group or counseling. Also helped set up home health aid, and hospice care at the end.) ABSOLUTELY NO CARE OR SUPPORT OFFERED AT ZANGMEISTER.

I just moved here from Toledo, Ohio and was in need of a new oncologist. I am currently in remission but still need check ups etc. First visit was horrible, Dr. Chidiac seems as though he was more interested in my chart than listening to my health concerns. I was scheduled for blood work and a PET scan and here is where it really gets ridiculous! Scheduled for 11 am so I decided to get there about 10:15, checked in, had a seat, everything seemed okay. 11:35 comes around a nurse comes out and tells me they had to move me to 11:45. Okay fine whatever it's only an extra 45 min or so...noon comes around same nurse comes to me and says well we have been having problems with the imaging machine, we have techs working on it now. 12:30 comes and goes, 1 pm, 1:20 she comes back well still working it, wont' be long. Getting frustrated at this point...finally about 1:40 pm she says well we have to reschedule machine is still down! Mind you that you have to fast for 6 hrs, I hadn't eaten for a total of 17 hours now and had to take a full day off work for this. If they were aware they were having problems they should of called me to let me know! I am getting my scan today and regardless the results I will be finding a new oncologist/facility to go to.

Worst experiance I have ever had..I could not even wade through the check in 2 times..final straw was when I showed up for only my second appt and there was a line out the door of people waiting to get in...it is the facility I have a problem with..I never even got in to see the doctor both times..folks this should not be a cattle call ..there is enough stress on people coming there , the check in process and wait times should be reasonable and as least stress as possible.Over hour waits after you spent long times just checking in makes me not confident they are organized enough to provide treatment of this importance...I for one am looking for another Doctor at another group.

We were referred to the Zangmeister Center from my Wife's breast cancer surgeon. The first visit did not go well. The Staff called my wife with the time of the appointment, and received a follow up cal with the same time. Upon arrival, we were told we were too early, as they had the appointment an hour later. We finally got to see the Doctor (Knoble) after a 2.5 hour wait. She spoke to us for 20 minutes, said she needed another test result, and sent us on our way. After we got the test results back, we discussed with the Doctor that the traffic from our home to the center was way too much for daily radiation treatments. The Doctor agreed to call in a referral to whomever we decided upon. We decided to go with Fairfield Medical Center, gave Dr Knoble the other Doctors name, and she said her staff would send the referral out that day. We waited, and waited, and after 2 weeks, called Fairfield Medical Center to see if they got the referral. The hadn't. So, my Wife calls back to the original surgeon, who said her staff would call the referral themselves. Within 30 minutes, we got a call from FMC, saying the got the referral from the Breast Surgeons staff, and we now have things in motion. While the Doctors at Zangmeister may be good, the staff is poor to say the least. If you can goto another center, I suggest doing so.

These people were very bitter. They don't want to care for u. They only care about the money. First visit to meet with doctor was good. When we went for first treatment they said we wasn't in their system. Wanted us to fill out all the paperwork again and sent us to a financial person. We were on her system. They didn't care said we needed to fill out the paperwork again. They don't take people in the order they arrive. We were sent to a waiting room that was over crowded. They were herding people in there like they were cattle. My wife and I had to sit on a wall because they had no seating available. Was not a good visit. They can't control their people so how are they supposed to conttoo a patient's medical needs. They also don't keep track of your personal info. They are supposed to scan it in the system and shred it. We didn't get put in their system so I assume the personal information we gave them has been lost.

I will never make an appointment here again!!! Filled out all of the new patient paperwork, arrived promptly 10 minutes before my suggested arrival time only to be told my appointment had been cancelled. Who do they have confirming appointments?? Which I had done weeks earlier. I also received no earlier calk as I have had my home phone and cell phone on all the time. Oh and walked in the door after leaving the center to a message to call, "Gee, hope you haven't left yet". Seriously??!!

This place is ridiculous and I can't believe they are allowed to deal with the public. My family doctor sent me a referral to Zangmeister for iron infusions about 6 weeks ago. It took Zangmeister 10-12 days to call me to make an appointment. I am self pay, so asked the receptionist about pricing so I could plan ahead for what I needed to be prepared to pay out of pocket. She said she would connect me with their "financial counselor" real quick, then I'd be connected back to her to make an appt. I was cold transferred to a voicemail box. Great. So I left a detailed message about what pricing I needed, my name, phone number, DOB ect… It's been 3.5 weeks and I just called to make an appointment because I really need to be seen before my iron levels drop even further. Receptionist just told me after placing me on hold for a few minutes "I have no idea what happened, we must have shredded your medical records because nothing is in my system. Yea, they probably just got rid of your referral when you didn't schedule an appointment. You'll have to call your doctor and have them resend everything. Sorry." WHAT? You've got to be kidding me lol. Go anywhere else, this place is laughable at best and I wouldn't trust them to treat my freaking dog much less a human being.

I wouldn't let these people treat a stray dog, much less a loved one. Met with two doctors, both exhibit paternalistic attitude of "doctor knows best" and "trust me, I am a doctor." Both felt offended that my understanding of physician's care was that they suggest courses of action and treatment options, and I am the one who gets to decide which option is best for me based on my understanding and assessment of respective risks and potential benefits. No. The doctors who work here believe that they are gods and you should accept their authority unequivocally, without any questions, hesitation, or engagement. So if you want to do very little thinking and let the doctor make all the decisions for you, this is the place for you. If you want to explore your options, work cooperatively with your doctor, have an intelligent discussion of what the test results mean, or actually make any decisions about your care, don't waste your time coming to Zangmeister.

While my mom had stage 4 small cell lung cancer that is too far gone to cure and we were doing chemotherapy to focus on the QUALITY OF LIFE this women right here in a very long video,that if anyone would like to view can message me to view, kept on berating my mother while my mom was recieving chemotherapy in front of everyone. Want to know why she did this? Well because i called once a day and left a voicemail for someone to call me back before a 3 day weekend began with my mom being out of her pain pills she needed. No one returned any calls. My mom only had enough meds to get her until sunday. They didnt open until tuesday. I called friday at 12 noon 2 hours before closing. They drug tested her and saw she was taking her pain pills correctly. So they changed tactics and said that while my mom is dying i was displaying drug seeking behaviour. My mom crying says dont give me no pain pills then i would rather die in pain than u attack my son right now. I dont know how a son wanting a phone call back to ask questions on what he is supposed to do sunday night when they are closed is supposed to do has to do with me seeking drugs but they cant take that back. I begged them after she accused me of doing drugs to spot drug test me right there to no avail. This video is hard to watch. Remember i am very distressed and not even understanding why a women is mad at me for waiting 24 hours for no call back to call again. I am begging my moms nurse to get this women away from my mom while she is getting her chemo. I get there are opoid addicts out there. So does that mean a son should be accused of taking his dying mothers drugs? What kind of person would that make me? Better yet what kind of person would accuse someone of that in front of their dying mother? They cant undo what thwy put me through and that women has to answer to god for what she put my mom through.

My mother really trusted zangmeister they told her that they got all the cancer but still wanted to do chemo for preventive measure.they started her on chemo I spoke with doctor Simmone and told him it was making her very sick it was just to much her body couldn't take it.He said I'll lower the dose.she went in for chemo she was so dyhydrated it took them 4 attempts to get needle in her hand.they new her respiratory was low and she was dyhydrated and still shoved needle in,my mother went back the next day for saline she wasn't home 45 minutes and she died,they were very careless and heartless just monsters my mother didn't deserve that neglect or carelessness BEWARE I miss my mother every second of the day and she had alot of spunk and they took every ounce no one ever said sorry or anything
