I love this place. Very professional and the staff was very kind. I hate that I had to move away because it's hard to find good quality care for my children.

Robin Barcikowski

The service from Dr. Craig and nurse Petry has been above and beyond! Thank you nurse Petry for all your extra help we don't know what we would do without you being there to help us!!!

We have been going to Rainbow Pediatrics in Dublin for four years and really like it. The receptionist is very welcoming. We are usually able to get on their schedule in a reasonable amount of time. Our children love seeing Ashley Hammac. She is very caring, knowledgeable, and treats our children as if they were her own. We have seen other physicians at the office as well and they have all been great. The facility could use some updating- the waiting room does have a “sick room” but it would be nice to have a designated area for children who are there for their well child visits vs coughs, fevers, etc. All in all we are very happy with Rainbow Pediatrics.

The reason I am giving two stars rather than one, is because the doctor who saw our kiddo was willing to do the well child visit even though our LO was screaming. (Our kiddo just had a traumatic dental appointment and this doctor visit was especially jarring but the doctor was willing to be patient.) Tricare prime remote changed our Healthcare provider to this Rainbow Pediatrics when we moved regions. I expected the same if not better care from a civilian office. What I received is this: -A front desk that was unaware of how tricare worked, unsure of how to use a benefits number/ssn to post bills/receive payment. -A call the Friday evening before a Monday morning appointment to tell us that the Dublin office was mistakenly given to us as an appointment and in fact only a New Albany office visit was possible. -Poor time management on the part of the receptions. We arrived before our appointment time and were seen 15 minutes late. No big deal considering the issues with payment, but definitely difficult especially when appointment times are used for a reason. -I asked for an itemized bill, instead received a receipt and complaint; "you can wait for a bill but I'll have to get our billing person to type it up manually and print it." Not a big deal but considering I had to explain what itemization was needed, dissapointed. In addition to that, a lunch menu was printed out and patiently noted while passing this complaint on. Luckily I took the hint and agreed to receive a bill by mail to pass on to tricare and take care of myself. -The receptions loudly explained the cost of immunizations while gesticulating and expressing disbelief as to the likelihood that I would be willing to pay out of pocket for the immunizations. Luckily, I spoke up and said that as my appointment suggested we were there to be seen for immunizations due. -Was quoted 250$ was charged 400$+ Not a big deal since it involves the well being of our little one, but it's annoying because why make a huge deal over needing to pay out of pocket *because you don't understand the insurance* when you previously made it apparent that you *understood why we were there* -The doctor had is ask the receptionist about enrolling in the Patient Portal. I was told to check my email, the email I was told to check was not my own but another patient's. Luckily, clarification was easy even though steps to enroll were not forthcoming. Over all the experience was not what we expected, it was a dissapointment and I was not left satisfied with the overall state of our perspective pediatrician. But, it could have been worse. Our little one received one immunization and a well child visit-- which was our intention so at least that got done. The doctor tried to be well meaning and attentive. The attending nurse was helpful, straightforward and patient with our fussy baby. That was not enough to combat the overall negative experience. Hopefully the requested forms are received in timely manner. I will be researching other available pediatric offices.

We have been patients of this practice for 13+ years. Dr. Anne & Dr. Tylor are amazing.

We've been going to the Dublin office since my son was born in 2011 and now for our infant born in 2014. Our favorite physician is Dr. Abaza but she has a very small window of when she schedules patients and you cannot schedule more than 2 months out. For about the last year I have been telling my husband we should find another peds group but we just keep sticking it out. I think I have finally come to terms that we need to move on. The front staff and those that answer the phone are just plain awful. I called and this woman was rough and gruff and I could hear her wiping her snot on something. I get it, people are sick but that is so beyond unprofessional. The online patient portal is annoying and inaccurate most of the time. So far our kids have just done well checks, so I can't even imagine if they got sick all the time and we had to go here more often. I think I may just find a primary care physician that specializes in pediatrics because it seems there is no good pediatric group options in NW Columbus.

We have 3 teenagers and have been going to Rainbow for about 7 years. Our kids typically go for an annual exam and for medication checkups. So not too often. It was tolerable. The physical office itself is okay. It certainly needs a refresh and is looking run down. The only reason I gave the review 2 stars is because the doctors are pretty good. HOWEVER, they charge fees for EVERYTHING. If you call looking for medical help after hours, they charge you a fee (not covered by insurance). If you need your records transferred, they charge a fee (and it takes 30 days to get them, also not covered by insurance). If you have an appointment they consider after working hours, they will charge you a fee (insurance has covered this for me, but the appointment was not after hours). Their billing person is not helpful and does not respond for days if not weeks.

I've had mixed experiences here. As the practice has grown, service has gotten slower and less personal. However, recently I needed a referral for a specialist and I was helped by a nurse who was amazing. She was in contact with me throughout the day and was able to get the referral for just a few weeks out at Childrens. This was really impressive. I'm thankful for her.

I love this place! Dr. Ann Rogers and Dr. Craig are so kind and professional. I have two kids ( 2 and 1 years old) and since they were born we have been attending this place.

gerti fidelio

I always come here. The doctors are caring and nice, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and welcoming atmosphere in the clinic. I’m really happy with the work them, they did and would recommend them to anyone!

Kellie Bieser

Our children have been patients here for nearly 14 years, but after scheduling the first visit for our newest son who happens to have special needs and confirming that appointment, we were called less than 24 hours before our visit and told that after reviewing our file the office was "no longer accepting new patients." To their credit, I received calls of apology after I shared my experience publicly, but I cannot fathom going to a practice that doesn't accept all types of patients or doesn't have to compassion to care for existing families as they grow and change. Hopefully my negative experience will result in this practice moving forward to improve their policies.

Craigs List

Rude office staff, unprofessional and down right mean! They don't care about children, they care about money. Wouldn't go back if you paid me.

We've been taking our two daughters here for over four years. We've primarily seen them and have been really pleased with the care we've received. The front desk staff are also great. They're all patient and kind with my daughters (one of whom can be pretty fussy when it comes to shots, etc). Thank You guys!!

Savannah Campbell

I love rainbow! Both of my boys have been going here since they were born! My first will be 3 next month and my other is almost 6 months. I have always had a great experience. The front staff are very nice and I love dr Tyler and dr Ryan. They also have a huge fish tank and always a kid friendly movie playing in the lobbby!

Troy McGowan

Very disappointed!

J Guirlinger

This is a horrible pediatric practice. I had my children here for two years and I pulled them out after receiving the worst service ever. Never looked back

Sebastian Glover

I just want to say thank you so much to Rainbow Pediatrics. I absolutely love this place!!! Everyone is always so kind and welcoming!!! I have never had a problem getting into see a dr and they are always more than helpful in answering all my questions. Thank you so much.

RUDE STAFF! Waited OVER an hour for a well check!!

Sam Bennett

Sure the doctor was nice, but everything from getting to see the doctor to dealing with the awfully incompetent billing department was awful and poor service. They double billed us for what the insurance company had already covered and then rudely did not call us back. They lost the faxes with our shot records that our previous doctor sent them THREE times. Yes, 3 times!

Vivien Bhatia

I have two kids and Rainbow has been our pediatrician since 12 years. They are always very through, gentle, knowledgeable and helpful. They responds to all my questions and concerns. We moved away from New Albany but still come for check-ups every year because we are so satisfied with the care. Front office staff has also been great. I would strongly recommend them to all the parents.

Everlyne Ajowi

From the first day I met her, I knew she was the best Dr for my children.Dr Ann Marie Rogers is a wonderful, experienced doctor who takes her time when providing care for her patients.Dr Rogers is thorough at her job and she effectively communicates the child's health information to parents. After my first visit at Rainbow clinic, I knew she was the right doctor for my children.

Brandon Dickens

We took my niece there for an allergy, we wanted to take her to the hospital but after searching for nearby pediatricians I found Rainbow Pediatrics, we called them and they told us that they accept walk-ins, we didn't wait long and the staff was welcoming. the doctor explained her symptoms and her treatment options thoroughly, They gave her a shot and some medicine and it was like magic. Then they wrote some tests that they recommended we do. Highly recommended place, very clean and very professional atmosphere.

Nicholas Hunter

I Highly recommend to everyone that Rainbow Pediatrics is the best of the best. They are very professional, very helpful, so kind and gentle They cares so much to all of their patients my daughter loves to go there the way they exams and communicate and the way they cares for all the concern that she had. They took time to care for you what an excellence Doctor we have! Thank you for all that you do. God bless!

I would not recommend Rainbow Pediatrics. I moved to New Albany in 2002 and I was at first thrilled to have a pediatric doctor's office for my 4 children located so close to my home. After 2 years, and my children disliking every trip to the doctor- because of the doctor's, I soon realized that my kids were worth the 15 minute drive to Westerville and switched to Dr. Jacob at Mid Ohio Pediatrics. All of the Dr's at Mid Ohio Pediatrics are fabulous and we have never had a bad experience in the 12 years since the switch.

Tammie Maubach

Want to talk about a 5 star practice this one is it!! From the start to finish this friendly office is top notch!! You walk in they acknowledge your child with a friendly welcome, the nurse which comes out to get them is over the top with happiness you just can't get enough of her!! Dr Ann is just so wonderful all around no wonder she surrounds herself with great staff members!! They see you same day emergency and don't even act like you've been worked into their schedule. I can't say enough about this practice!!

ajkrantz1

Dr. Tyler Rogers has been our son's pediatrician for the last 10 years and we could not be happier. We could not be happier with him, the staff, and the quality of care. Thank you!

Wendy Miller

I have been bringing my 3 kids here for about 4-5 years now. I have always been treated kindly and if they are running behind schedule they apologize for the wait. The wait times to be seen seems to have gotten better. I really like Dr Hammac, she is so caring and doesn't make you feel rushed. Nurse Karen is amazing, always so friendly and asks about my other children even if they aren't the ones being seen at the office. She is always helpful when I have a question and gets back to me in a timely manner.

Stephanie O'Donnell

The support staff and office manager are what make this practice so abysmal. Nurses on the help line were very rude on multiple occassions and my interactions with the manager of the practice make it clear that she sets a horrid tone and creates a terrible culture for the place. But let’s not forget their most aggregious error—the way they went about shutting down the Dublin office and their method of “notifying” patients in the area. First, they allowed appointments to be scheduled for that day (the day they closed down) so that people who showed for the appointments were greeted with locked doors. They have contact info and addresses for all the patients but they decided not to send a letter out (which would’ve been a professional move). They used their practice app to write a note to patients. HOWEVER, the note was titled “Our Practice is Expanding!” Does that make you think it’s a notice of closure? Nope. The note went on for several sentences in super poorly written language (obviously written by a wannabe Valley Girl) about the office in New Albany. Finally (IN PARENTHSIS) it said something like “but we have to close the Dublin office” and that’s about it. WHO JUST RANDOMLY OPENS AN APP FOR THE DOCTORS OFFICE TO SEE IF THE OFFICE HAPPENED TO PUT UP A NOTE NOTIFYING OF A CLOSURE. Nobody. They left hundreds of Dublin families high and dry and essentially just skipped town in the middle of the night. Good riddance.

Sara Turner

Let me start by saying you cannot trust this practice. If it weren’t for the CNP Ashley Hammac I would have never stayed. She was AMAZING and the only person there I trusted, and they just let her go because they decided to downsize. I left a similar review on Facebook but they deleted that one...which is extremely unprofessional. That alone shows you there is no effort to collect true feedback and improve, they just want to operate as is and shelter new parents from any negative and honest reviews. I would also like to add that Ashley was let go due to closing a location. Other parents that I referred specifically to Ashley, and my guess is many more, are being told she elected to stay home and care for her kids. This is absolutely untrue as I have been personally in touch with Ashley. She is very much still practicing and I know she’s going to be snatched up very quickly by another practice because she is that awesome. Hopefully it’s somewhere I can continue to bring my daughter because I will 100% follow her there. From forcing you to sign papers to auto deduct funds, to HOUR long waits just to have a rude doctor come in, to the owner of the practice being in the industry way too long where she is far too desensitized to be working with children and new parents...it’s been a string of terrible experiences. I’ve been told conflicting information by other doctors (when ashley was not available for appts), they lost track of how many flu shots my daughter had, and the best was when my 12 mo got what we think is the flu. We will never know because they ran out of tests and ran downstairs to borrow one from an urgent care...then made me drive it across town. Turns out after all that it was still the wrong test and they did it wrong. Some of the front desk staff is also extremely rude and unprofessional. Them letting Ashley go was the best thing ever because I, along with many others I assume, will follow her and can finally be done with this place. The ONLY benefit was two locations and flexible hours with walk ins and saturdays. However, I’ve seen them cut people off for walk in appointments just a minute after 8 and they don’t specify to new patients that Saturday appts rotate locations anyway. Which no longer even matters since they downsized and are closing one location... so that benefit is lost. Trust me and the hassle you’ll face...find a better practice for your kiddos.

Allyson Robinson

Shawnee at the front desk is always so inviting and we saw her handle uncooperative parents very well. Amanda is such a sweet nurse and is very quick at giving shots! Ashley is simply THE BEST!

I have read some parents' recent reviews and admittedly have personally experienced some decline in service at the New Albany office over the past several years. I have even been considering finding a new peds practice bc so many of our favorite doctors and nurse practitioners have since left Rainbow Pediatrics. However, based on my experience yesterday and today - I feel like there is at least an effort being made to change and improve. Thank you Nurse Karen at the Dublin office for helping and supporting our needs. You are indeed appreciated and very much needed!

Always a long wait.. Workers upfront are loud and make parents anxious with issues they have to deal with. But they take good care of my baby once we finally are seen. Even though sometimes it's an hour wait.

C White

We've been to this clinic with 2 children for more than 5 years. The only reason we still go there is because the doctors are good, but today I had a horrible experience and I can't stand it any more. I brought my son in during Walk-in time. He has been sick for 4 days but he hadn't had fever so we were waiting for him to recover. However, last night he began to complain that his ear is hurting, so I brought him in today. When I started to explain to the receptionist that he has been sick for 4 days, she cut me off and said that walk-in time is very busy and I can't bring in a sick child who has been sick for that long during walk-in unless he has ear pain, blah blah.... She kept being very rude in front of many other parents and patients as if I should leave. I visited the office BECAUSE my son started to have ear pain. Before I had a chance to explain that she cut me off and it was completely inappropriate behavior. I almost left, but I am so glad I stayed because my son really had a horrible ear infection and the doctor said she was glad that we brought him in when we did. Having a sick child is stressful enough and being treated this way by the receptionist before seeing the doctor is horrible. We are leaving this office.

Anna Smith

It never fails, ever time I take my child there (and I avoid it due to previous bad experiences), the front office staff is RUDE and INCONSIDERATE. They don't acknowledge people walking in the door, and make no eye contact. The only time that staff "comes to life" is when they loudly discuss their personal lives. I would never recommend this practice. The only recommendation I have is for someone in charge to take note of all the negative feedback about the staff and overhaul the place with professional and caring people.

Farrah Williams

This is a wonderful place to take your kids to. They are very caring.

Dana Day

We took our son in to rainbow pediatrics three times over a five month period...each time we saw a different doctor...each time a diagnoses was reached that was incorrect (verified by other doctors, and my son is still sick). The last time the doctor was very smug and condasending, at some points even laughing at my experience. This place is complete garbage, do yourselves a favor and take your kids somwhere else.

Acsa Columbus

waited for a long and long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Ann Rogers has been my daughter’s pediatrician since her birth. When she came to the hospital to examine her, she quickly diagnosed a condition. Dr. Ann called her office and they quickly got us the treatment my daughter needed. Through your every challenge we have faced, Dr. Ann has been a caring, kind, and understanding partner in the care of my daughter. She is a wonderful person and pediatrician!

Maryanne Love

We have been seeing Rainbow Pediatrics for about 3 years. It takes me more than one hour to travel to their office but they were so worth it. They are so polite and humble. They listens to everything you say and does not rush. I love their email communication. I never had any issues. They are very quick to reply. Staff is very friendly.

They are Very Warm, Humble and takes time to spend with our kids. We are fortunate to have them as our Kids Pediatrician. They never rushes with our appointments. We wish them All the very Best. The staff at the clinic is very courteous and helpful and usually responds to our email with in 24 hours.

Since Dr. Jeff has moved on from the practice, we are waiting it out and hopefully following him to his next Pediatric group in 7/14 (delayed due to a non-compete). He was the only reason we continued to go to Rainbow. We pay our bills on time and as we receive them; but their billing system and processes are becoming irritating (emailed about "important messages" on the patient portal before a bill is even received via mail). The technicians are generally less than enthusiastic. After 7 years w/Rainbow, I would not recommend this practice as a first choice...keep researching for a better option.

Amanda Peters

I was a patient of Dr. Rogers for several years and now that I'm starting my own family I would definitely take my children to Rainbow Pediatrics. Dr. Rogers is so attentive and thorough and genuinely cares about her patients well being. I highly recommend!

August Johnson

I've had a great experience here. The staff remembers my son's name.. & we're seen within 10 minutes. They are wonderful. They are pro breastfeeding & really pushed it on me which I didn't mind. My son is now 10 months & healthy. Only pediatrician I like for my son.

Dorolisa Iorgos

I take my kids there all the time. The doctors are great. Wait time is not bad. I highly recommend people to take their kids there.

We have been taking our kids to Rainbow Pediactrics ever since they were born. I can’t say enough about our nurse practitioner, Ashley Hammac. She is always helpful, caring and attentive to our children’s and our family needs. Last year was tough, we would have been lost without her help. Thank you so much Ashley.

Wendeline Dunc

I just want to say thank you so much to Rainbow Pediatrics. They have been seeing my kids for a couple years now and They are always concerned and attentive with them. Their diagnosis is always right and in case They don't understand the problem at first, they investigated until he can give us an answer and they make sure that they get better during the following days. Thank you so much guys!!

Truly a disturbing experience from the start. Where do I start?? Recently moved to the area and had medical records sent to them three times because they said they were not receiving them. They had them on the first try but somehow couldn't locate them. Ok fine. Get to the appointment and was turned off by how dirty it was. Eeeeeewwwww. I had my two children with me and had to fill out a bunch of paperwork and there were no toys for them to play with. Really?! We get into the dirty exam room and wait forever for Dr. Nardia. She was ok, not super impressed by any means. Then there were the shots which are not fun for child or parent but they made it the most traumatic experience for us. It was the most horrible experience for all of us and I'm angry that they made it such a negative. It's going to take me a good while to undo the harm. The nurse was so rough with the shots that it was super painful for me to watch. I told them I didn't need to finish filling out the paperwork. We are done. New doctor and new office. Well we were there for 2 hours. Very long with a 5 year old and a 15 month old.

Madhavni Javri

Rainbow Pediatrics has been with my children since they were newborns, they are wonderful! They were right up there with him, they explains everything very thoroughly. I'm very impressed. welcoming environment.

MICHELLE WEAVERMETZGER

Unorganized waste of time, effort and energy!!! Takes me 30 minutes to just make an appointment ... REDICULOUS front desk, unhelpful, sarcastic, dismissive. Unengaged physicians who consistently talk down to patients (child) as well as the parent or guardian. For some reason, EVERY time I call there is a problem with billing and HSA receipts. I got the same bill, the collection notices for the same $3.00 which was proven paid. Don't waste your time!! Go somewhere else!!!!

Fantastic bedside manner, insights and diagnostics!

Doctors and Nurse Practitioners are generally concerned about my kids. They take time to listen and are very kind. They have a lot of knowledge to share and take appropriate time with each patient. Therefore wait times may be long. The front office staff can be unfriendly especially over the phone, but I'm guessing they are often busy.

HZ Amer

Rainbow pediatrics used to be an awesome place. Dr Craig was/is amazing, Dr Wahida was (gone now) amazing as well. Unfortunately, over the past yr or so the standard has gone down as they depend more and more on the nursing staff to see acute patients, answer weekend call, and more. After a misdiagnosis that costed me an out of pocket 200$ treatment hat my kids DID NOT NEED, and a couple wkend calls that i paid 25$ each time for USELESS advice from the nurses (if they don't know why are they answering the phones?), I decided I was done. Nurses simply are not qualified to treat patients. They just don't have the training. I attempted to reach the office manager with my complaints, and left a msg, but there was no response. Its unfortunate since the practice started out so well. That being said if Dr Craig or Dr Wahida go anywhere else I will certainly look them up. Until then, we moved to Emerald which only has physicians treating the patients.

Meagan Nicholson

I have also had mixed experiences. Mostly good when we first started coming to this practice. However, lately it has been an awful experience. Last time we came with a scheduled appointment we were there for over 3 hours. I just tried to call and make an appointment and was on hold for 17 minutes. That is ludicrous! I will take my child to urgent care, in the process of finding a new practice!

Unorganized and HUGE waiting time and careless staffs. They wanted a 2 year old kid to wait for 50 min to meet the Doctor. My Appointment was at 2.10pm and i was there by 2 pm, they did not bother to inform me that it is going to be late untill i went up and asked by 2.25pm. When we can't meet the doctor by appointment what is the point of booking one? 10-15 min late is fine but how to take 50 - an hour late just to meet the doc plus procedure time...So if you want to see the DOC you need to spend half day of your work for one kid. How will a 2 year old sit in the clinic for 2 hrs????? When i asked for reschedule, they offered 4.20pm appt same day but the staff goes like this, it might also have little wait time.....How should one take this??? ARE they being mean to COLORed people???

Dale Kinnear

My step son Angelo has been seeing Dr. Ann Rogers his whole life since birth. We have always had good feedback from her and Rainbow. She has taken the best care of him and we are very satisfied and happy with his care and everything

Brynn Craney

We love the Dublin office! We have almost always been able to get in same day for sick visits and the walk-in appointments and Saturday hours have worked very well for our family. The staff is so nice...my kiddo loves seeing Shawnee at the front desk! This is really a great office to go to!

Chris

We been coming here for over 10 years. We never had any type of problems. Staff always nice and always willing to go the extra step to help out. I seen people saying long waits. The only time that happens to us. Is when we need to see the doctor last minute and they squeeze us between appointments. Highly recommended Rainbow Pediatrics to my family and friends. I would not go anywhere else but here.

Michelle Guadagnoli

Great pediatric care in New Albany and Dublin!!

This place is a joke, they couldn't spell my daughters name correctly despite having her insurance card right in front of them. They tried billing her insurance with the misspelled name; and now I have a debt collector trying to collect the bill. MORONS. So now, I'm in the process of trying to rectify the situation because they are illiterate.

Danette McKinney

We love Rainbow Pediatrics specifically Dr. Ashely Hammac and nurse Karen Petry. We transferred to Rainbow Pediatrics back in 2009 and Karen was awesome giving my, very uncontrollable, 4 year old (at the time) her Kindergarten shots. She was professional and cared for her like her own. Even though Karen is on the phones now she always makes sure she comes and says hi to all my kids when we are in there. Ashely is awesome as well! She is always thorough and I do not feel like she is rushing us out of there to get to her next patient. If those two would leave; we would probably find another practice closer to Marysville where we live. :)

Amie Love

Very much dislike this practice. Wait times are extremly long even for scheduled appointments. I called to ask about a precription refill and the nurse was very condescending and rude. I had to explain over and over what my child needed, then she tried to get me to schedule an appointment even through we had only recently been there. Would not recommend!

Jennifer Bruno

Office is not very clean...combwebs and spiders in corners of exam rooms. Dr Craig is awesome and so are all of the NP's. Medical assistants are just ok. Sometimes wait times can be an issue.

I recently took my kids here. I read the online reviews first. There are a lot of great reviews but I was a little hesitant with a few bad reviews. The bad reviews did not seem to have any substance and mainly related to closing of their smaller office in Dublin. I came to learn that their older doctor is retirement age and no longer wanted to practice in two locations. I must say our experience has been amazing - Great staff - really friendly and nice and caring! You can tell the doctors and staff really love what they do and they don't make you feel rushed! If you are on the fence - Go to Rainbow Pediatrics!

Christina Ro

What a wonderful pediatric practice!! We recently moved here from Tennessee for my husband's work. Someone in the HR department at his job recommended Rainbow Pediatrics. I have to admit I was nervous about finding a pediatrician. We had the best one in Tenn. The staff at Rainbow was pleasant and helpful on the phone in regards to records transfer, general information, and scheduling. Upon arrival for our appointment the Front desk staff were friendly and pleasant. We completed all the usual paperwork and insurance information fairly quickly. The nurse, Kayla, who took us back was so sweet and wonderful to my daughter. She really helped make her feel right at home. She went through all of my daughter's medical history. She really seems like she cared! Then Dr. Tyler came in very shortly after the nurse was finished. He was wonderful. He is so good at interacting with my daughter and yet still talking to me in a way I can relate. He reminds me of our previous pediatrician. I got all my questions addressed. We will be back and I will refer others to Rainbow! Christy 2 years and many visits later we are still impressed. We love Dr. Tyler!! Most of the staff really care and work hard! Thanks Rainbow!

We moved here 8 years ago from Cincinnati. I was so nervous about finding a pediatrician for our children. We visited several and were not happy at all. After searching and setting up lots of disappointing consultations we finally found Rainbow Pediatrics. We've always received wonderful care for our babies! Nurse Karen Petry has been there for our family since we arrived 8 years ago! She goes over and beyond her call of duty to make sure our kids receive the best care! She's watched our kids grow up. I've always been happy with the staff and cleanliness of both the New Albany and Dublin offices.

We have nothing but great things to say about our experiences at Rainbow Pediatrics. I am a mom of two year old triplets, so having a reliable pediatrics office is extremely important. They have always been very accommodating to handling our three babies for their "normal" checkups; they have squeezed us into the schedule (at the last minute) when we had three sick kids; and they have always been extremely kind and helpful. I have called the on-call nurse MANY times in the last two years and she is always so very helpful. Thank you for everything, RP!

Rainbow Pediatrics came highly recommended from my Fiance's co-worker. We have attended the Dublin location for over a year now. While I was pregnant they offered a free after hours " meet and greet" with a physician which included a tour, policy / procedural information, a wonderful take home folder full of great information and allowed us to ask any questions. The staff are AMAZING especially Shawnee, CNP Ashley, CNP Stephanie Yoder. Any telephone calls are quickly responded to, they care about you and your children, are very open to referring to Specialist's when needed, they trust your parental instincts, truly listen to your concerns and are quick to get you into appointments especially same day. Couldn't be happier! They have treated our daughter since the day that she was born.

Love our doctors at Rainbow Pediatrics who have been looking after my 5 yo twins and 1 yo baby since birth. Dr. is a lovely person, smart, and willing to take on hard projects to solve issues with kids. He has been our primary for five years, and has given great and practical advice. He looked after my baby when he had a UTI let me call them cell phone anytime over the weekend to make sure she was looked after. I have been so happy with this practice.

Trying to get my child's ears pierced safely with the blomdahl piercing and they say they won't do it because she isn't a patient...way to look out for parents and take care of kids. Terrible place. Not a patient but still would not recommend .

Great care and friendly service! Dr. Ann Rogers and Ryan Schoonover took very good care of our two kids...and us since we were new parents with many questions. Nikki is a star! She helped with all facets of administrative and billing. Not only was she very knowledgeable but even anticipated our needs. We wish all pediatrician offices were like Rainbow Pediatrics because they set the standard for us.

I have been taking my children to Rainbow Pediatrics for the past 3 years - while I have experienced long wait times when I initially started using Rainbow Pediatrics after moving to Columbus (I chose the office because it was close to my home), things have dramatically improved in the past year. The nurses are very friendly and helpful, as is the front office staff. The doctors are excellent (we have always worked with Dr. Jennifer Cooper and Ann Bever), and truly care about their patients. We are always able to get a same day appointment when the kids are sick, and the office is super helpful with things like getting day care forms signed, etc. I've recommended this practice to my friends, who now bring their kids here also. The waiting room has recently been remodeled, and the kids love it (especially the fish tank).

Rhea Moseley

Very very rude staff. I called to clear up an appointment error and was met with a very rude and hostile attitude from whom I can only assume was the receptionist. Didn't even make it to the office to meet the doctors before I was put off by the scheduling staff. Unfortunate.

I am extremely disappointed with this practice. They are very unorganized. I usually don't write reviews, but the level of service I have experienced at this organization is absolutely horrendous. They do not know how to run a business. I promise you... if you go there, you will be treated like a number. Please, I beg you for your children's sake - take your children elsewhere.

Thomas Dauber

They are consistently late. As I’m writing this review I have been waiting to see the Dr. for an hour past our appointment time. Even worse, they once instructed us to cut my son’s medication in half if he was running low. This is a drug commonly prescribed for kids. The medication has a special extended release mechanism in it, the instructions with the pill specifically say to not cut the pill in half. I don’t reccomend this place. They don’t respect patient’s time.

Phil H.

It is absolutely ridiculous that you schedule a 9am appt, and the Dr finally comes into the room at 10:32am! This has happened multiple times with our children, & we are now leaving the practice. On top of repeatedly running behind schedule, the billing dept is awful & we have received unexplained charges that we've requested details for, & get excuses from rude billing staff.

My 13 year old son has been a patient since he was a newborn. Hands down, this the BEST place to take your kids in town!!! My son had his 13 year physical this week and Dr. Tyler gave him his utmost attention, as usual, took his time figuring out my concerns and gave a resolution to EVERY question or challenge we had. This place is truly awesome! Truly Truly AWESOME!!!

Trevor Duncan

Our son is almost 4 years old and he has been a patient of Rainbow Pediatrics. We love this practice! The doctors are great and you can always get an appointment quickly if something comes up. This practice is great for anxious new parents because they always return your calls promptly and can get you an appointment to see someone at the office if there is an emergency. Everyone who works there is very nice. We have been very pleased.

Sarah Cataldo

Not a fan of Dr. Ann Rogers, everyone else decent enough. Would look elsewhere for care...

This place SUCKS when it comes to appts. It's 12:10 as I type this and my sons appt was at 11:20. This isn't the first time it's been like this either, always have a excuse and are really rude on the phone. I don't have welfare babies and get free food and medical, maybe that's the problem. Unfortunately I have to pay out of pocket after private insurance. I guess it's easier to get government money. It's now 12:20 and nurse practitioner just came in.

Jenna Dawn

I am consistently satisfied with the service. Each Dr. seems to genuinely care about my well-being, the nurses help me schedule a convenient appointment time for me and they are punctual every visit.

We have been taking my daughter to Dr. Ann Rogers since she was born which was 13 years ago. My nephew goes to Dr. Craig. Both doctors are amazing and really take their time during the appointments to make sure everything is covered. The staff is very thorough, kind, and really go out of their way to make you comfortable. I would highly recommend this pediatrician's office.

They misdiagnosed my daughter and put her on medication. She wasnt even sick. I took her in for a wellness check. Now she has broken out into rashes that are spreading all over her body rapidly. I'm so disappointed....it was an NP who saw her that day. I'm never going back there or letting my child be seen by anyone other than a doctor

Valerie Anderson

We've been patients at Rainbow Pediatrics Dublin for 6 years now and both of my children attend. They are attentive and fully focused on my children when we go in for visits. It's nice that they have Saturday walk in appointments as well as daily walk in appointments. I've also used the doctor on call a few times. It feels like the staff and practitioners know us personally! While there has been some turnover in practitioners and office staff, it seems to be pretty stable now. The billing system also has some kinks as I get text reminders of a bill I haven't even received yet. All in all, they have good doctors and I know my children are taken care of! Update 9/27/18: I found out when trying to schedule my daughters well visit that they closed the dublin office. They did not notify us of this change except in the portal, which I have not logged into as we have not had any scheduled visits. This felt very unprofessional and now I'm left trying to find another pediatrician unless I want to go to their New Albany location, which is not convenient for me. Also, their billing system has not improved and I had a scheduling hold on my account even though I had a zero balance.

We're are so happy to have Dr. Ann Rogers as our daughter's pediatrician. She's always very professional, very kind and always has time to answer our questions. She enjoys what she does and enjoys taking care of our daughter. There aren't too many people like Dr. Ann. She's successful, has many awards and has plenty of experience. We're blessed to have found her and the Rainbow Pediatrics office. We also had the opportunity to work with Dr. Bever and Ryan. Both doctors were very nice, professional and took great care of our daughter. On occasion we'll wait more than our scheduled time but that's okay... all patients require different things. That may be the reason for delays. They want to treat every patient the best!

Great atmosphere. Easy access, Dr. Craig is as good as they come. He “gets” the kids today. Shawnee welcomes you in with a contagious smile, whether you’re there for a well or sick visit one can’t help but to smile back. SO MUCH better than previous pediatrician. 5+

Dan Grossberger

We've been going to Rainbow Pediatrics since our son was born. He just turned one and we can't take it any more, we are finding a new doc. Recently we needed a prescription and called on Wednesday, but no call back. We then called Friday morning, the day we needed the meds and were assured it would be called in same-day. We hadn't anything by 3pm so called again and were once again assured it would be handled. It wasn't. Finally we got a call back on Tuesday (yes, they were open Monday) and when we picked up the meds, it was the wrong script. On top of that their scheduling is awful, can't schedule your next well visit the same day you're in (ie can't schedule 12 months on 9 month appointment, have to wait a few months to schedule). They are a mess and since it directly affects our kid, we are moving on.

The waiting time can be a hit or miss. But whenever one of my children needs to be seen asap, they schedule them for same day appointments. They also provide an on-call doctor for after-hours, over-the-phone consultation, which is peace of mind. Most the staff that I've interacted with have been kind and helpful. I'm pretty pleased with the practice and still make the drive even though we're on the opposite end of the city.

The billing department is awful. After 2 years we are leaving the practice

We decided to leave this practice for a few different reasons which are not relevant to this review. My concern here is that when we requested our daughters' records, they sent them on a flash drive, wrapped in bubble-wrap and stuffed in a standard everyday paper envelope. This is the least secure way I can imagine sending a flash drive with medical records on it that would still be remotely considered Professional. The envelope was in shabby shape by the time it made it to us. Was taking the time to use a more secure method of shipping, like a small box or security mailer, too much ask for?? We are happy with our decision to leave Rainbow Pediatrics. Would not recommend this practice.

We HAD been patients of Rainbow Pediatrics for 13 years. We loved the physicians and staff and excellent care my 4 children received. Over the summer Rainbow Pediatrics closed their Dublin location suddenly without giving notice to their patients. The mess that has ensued would cause me to never recommend this practice to anyone. We were asked to drive 1/2 hrs away or find a new provider. I opted sadly to find a new provider because driving that far with a sick child is not practical. I filled out the request for medical records and found a nearby practice that had two of rainbow pediatrics old doctors. After the forms were filled out I waited until one of my children were sick to call and check on the records as no physician will take your child without records. I asked for them to be expidited. I made two more phone calls over the following week and made a request from the office manager before my records came last week. Each phone call had a wait time of over 20 minutes. I checked the records to find that one of my children was left off. I just spent 45 minutes on hold with no answer. I requested the records the end of august. My children have had no primary care provider for two months. My concern is that if this is how they are treating their past loyal patients how much can they really care about our children. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in this physicians office.

Leah Cessna

My husband and I are so pleased with Rainbow Pediatrics! Our newborn is a patient of Dr. Tyler’s and we are so happy with him and his patient care! His bedside manner is awesome, and we never feel rushed. As first time parents we have many questions, and Dr. Tyler takes the time to answer everything in a calm, clear manner. The office staff is also very professional and so polite. We highly recommend Rainbkw Pediatrics!

Heather Chen

We always have a great experience when needing to go to the doctor. The staff is very kind and attentive.

My children have gone to Dr. Ann Rogers since birth (18 and 15 years ago). She has been an excellent source of medical care for my children as well as a source of advice and trust for me. She has guided us through the childhood and teenage years. Recommend 100%.

Taryn Rapp

I contacted nurse Karen regarding an issue I was having getting a referral appointment at NCH. She kindly told me she would get this resolved and return my call in 5 mins. True to her word, the phone rang and my appointment was set. Karen was extremely professional and helped me navigate the confusing health care system. I highly recommend Rainbow Pediatrics!!

Joe Hilljak

Just an awful place from the rude receptionists and office manager down to the nurses. Our child's appointment the other week to treat his sore throat was supposed to be a simple visit. The nurse who came in had ZERO child communication skills and was physically abusive - and verbally unprofessional and RUDE. She was supposed to take a throat culture and ended up ramming a swab stick down my child's throat; she physically grabbed his arm so hard she bruised him. He left crying and was traumatized. Instead of trying to explain to a young child what she was about to do she tried to force a foreign object on him. It was just an awful experience for my child as well as for myself. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE - ITS A JOKE OF AN OPERATION WITH UNTRAINED AND UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF. By the way, this larger size nurse most likely detests children and should be working as an auto mechanic! Watch out for her!

Juliette Campbell

I had to switch pediatricians after some bad experiences with our previous doctor. I was referred to Rainbow Pediatrics by multiple friends. After our first visit my youngest child was properly diagnosed with 3 different ailments/conditions and was able to be treated. All of these had been missed previously. All three of my kids feel at ease when they have an appointment. The hours are flexible and convenient. They have up to date processes and procedures that I had not experienced before, including an updated website and portal. All of the staff has been wonderful, particularly Angela Yurkovich who goes above and beyond to take care of any needs that arise. And we always see our favorite Nurse Practitioner, Ryan, who has solved many concerns for us and makes appointments so much fun.
