My over 30-year experience with Northwest family Physicians has always been positive. The staff is courteous and prompt at scheduling and following up. The care I have received has been exceptional. When Dr. Paul Dusseau retired from the practice a few years ago, I didn’t know if anyone could replace him, but Dr. Austin Meek has filled those big shoes admirably. He is sharp, a good listener, and very competent and thorough in his practice. I couldn’t hope for a better doctor.

Dr Meek saw me promptly, which is always nice. He listened carefully to my complaint. He really “heard” me when I said I wouldn’t be seeking treatment fir such a slight injury if I weren’t taking my very-slightly-swollen ankle on vacation. Then he gave me excellent advice on how to get the foot/ankle in good condition in the week I had left before vacation. He didn’t order an unneeded xray ... just solid advice on wrapping and taking care of it. I’m very grateful, and the ankle feels better already.

I had to find a new doctor when mine retired. A co-worker recommended Dr. Austin Meek. Dr. Meek is one of our young and up and coming doctors. He is attentive, ees easy to talk to and takes his time with you. This has been my second visit and have never had to wait more than about 10 minutes in the waiting room! He listens to what you tell him about any oroblems you may have and takes it into consideration during his doagnosis. He also takes the time to give you suggestions on your health goals and will even google his suggestions and show you where to get what he is suggesting cheaper. Then writes them down so you have a reference later. I also love his staff. I've had the same person at every visit. Many doctors offices have a rotation in assistents. That usually means he is good to his staff if they stay for a long time. I highly recommend Dr. Meek and I'm glad I was able to find him!
