Terribly managed practice, unimpressed every step of the way. When making my initial appointment I was told the doctor would do a full body scan, which is standard for all new patients. I was ok with that, as I had a couple of areas of concern. I printed and completed my paperwork to save time prior to my appt. I got there 15 minutes early, waited a half hour in the waiting room and once I got back, another 10 minutes before the doctor came in. The waiting room was full and there were still more people shuffling in. I work in a medical office, I understand maximizing a schedule, but not at the expense of the patients experience. I felt very rushed and unheard. No full body scan, as I was told so I did not get to discuss my other problem areas (had to schedule an appt for each issue), she looked at my face, gave me 2 prescriptions without much discussion and I was on my way after scheduling a follow up in 2 weeks. After a week and a half, my face and lips were blistered, red and swollen from the medication. I called the office in a panic and did not get a return call from the nurse for 2 days and was simply told to discontinue the prescription and they will see me on Monday. My face started to heal after discontinuing but I was not happy to say the least. I went to my follow up, and she wanted to biopsy my lip. She swabbed it and could not get anything so she wanted to lance my lip to get a sample! I said absolutely not!! It was finally healing, I DID NOT want it tested. So scabs on my face, I was sent home. Mind you, I am a cash patient. I was not told I would be charged for that follow up appointment. Cost should always be communicated, especially to a cash patient. About a month later, I get a bill from a lab for the test that I declined. I called and was told that the doctor and her assistant both say that the test was completed and that I'm a liar, basically. I feel she is very money driven, herds her patients in and out like cattle and her bedside manner is cold. Her office staff is just as cold and indifferent. The office manager did call me to discuss this matter and offered to take care of my lab fee if I did not write a "slanderous" review. Slander is false information, this a completely true story and I will gladly pay the lab fee for that unwarranted test to hopefully prevent someone else from an assembly line experience with an uncompassionate doctor and her staff.
