I haven't been to the dentist for 6 yrs the lady that cleaned my teeth was very thorough went over my teeth one by one the job she did was superb showed me the bad ones and the problems I had with my gums. Dr. Moore explained the options that I had what it would cost asked if I had any questions and made sure that I under stood the answer most of all he TOOK HIS TIME to make sure I understood. I booked the appointment with my 11yr old same thing recommended me to a orthodontics we were on our way. The staff in the front are very polite.

My daughter had a wonderful experience at Dr. Moore’s office. Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming, and we got an appointment right away. Dr. Moore did an incredible job on my six year old’s teeth! She was comfortable actually had fun! She was looking forward to coming back. She loves the magic tricks, balloons, movies, and treasure chest. I am so happy with the care we received and my daughters teeth look and feel great! Dr. Moore is a fantastic dentist!

WARNING FOR PARENTS....do not send your kids to this dentist thinking that Dr. Magic Smiles will provide a calm, easy dental experience. We specifically chose this dentist for my children because we assumed it would be a fun, positive experience. The hygienist Yvonne...was WONDERFUL!! She gets 5 stars. For cleanings only....this office is fine. If any dental work is needed for children...I would move on. I wish I would have listened to my gut. My 5 year old needed 2 filling in his molars. We waited patiently for 45 minutes in the waiting room, which I am fine with. I understand how things can get behind schedule. I work in the medical field...I get it...so I was patient and 100% understanding. Then we waited about 20-25 in the chair with nitrous....again...totally fine if my child is relaxed and not scared. Then the dentist finally came in. It was obvious he was "in the weeds" and wanted to just get out of there. He had patients in all chairs. First thing he did was try to jam a large mouth guard in his mouth....he handled the small one without problem. He was literally pushing this thing in his mouth. THAT was what scared my 5 year old. To sum things up quickly basically the dentist was trying to hurry. It was completely erratic, unprofessional and a disaster. The nitrous fell off his nose and he didn't bother to put it back on. His bib was all in his face. He was choking on his spit. He bit the dentists finger (mind you he's 5 and has never experienced this). The dentist said very loud.....multiple times "If you bit me...ill bite you back" Not really the environment to throw around a supposed joke. He was very loud, direct and pointed. The entire office could hear this fiasco. When it was all said and done....he THEN referred him to a TRUE pediatric dentist....but not before he warned me that my child would probably need "put down" (he's not a dog...he's a human) for his future dental appointments. And that 1 out of 50,000 do not wake up. WOW! I am pretty sure he meant put under anesthesia or put to sleep....not put down. All in all.....we were in that office for 2 1/2 hours and I had to pay for the terrible experience. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE GIVING THIS OFFICE YOUR MONEY!!! If maybe they would have said "I'm so sorry for this experience....don't worry about paying us close to $200" It would have softened the blow of the terrible experience. I would have given this dentist 0 stars if I could

Dr. Moore is without question the finest dentist I have ever had. I travel extensively for my job. I am in show business and a having nice smile and beautiful teeth is an extremely important thing in my line of work. Dr. Moore has restored my smile to look better than I "ever" thought possible. The reason I travel all of the way from Minnesota to see Dr. Moore is that he is caring, trustworthy, reasonably priced dentist and simply put, he is a wonderful human being! He is a compassionate care giver and a true artist when it comes to creating a beautiful and healthy smile. Dr. Moore is simply the best there is. I'm genuinely looking forward to my next dental visit — now, how many dentists can you say that about?

The hygienist was extremely thorough & knowledgeable, as were the front desk ladies. My teeth felt a lot cleaner when the hygienist was done & they even checked my blood pressure?!! The billing was a little bit confusing process & a few minor kinks with paying them for the opt-in fluoride but a quick phone call settled it favorably. Their offices have an unassuming strip mall look from the outside, but are very clean & has a beautiful, comfortable, welcoming interior with a tranquil fish tank and large art deco features. I found my new neighborhood dentist. :)

I have been a patient of Dr. Moore's for many years. I first went to him for TMJ problems. The joint in my jaw was extremely painful. The mouth guard he prescribed and made for me was incredible. I get a new mouth guard every few years and have never had that problem with my jaw again. Thru the years I've gone to Dr. Moore for cleanings and whitenings. I've also had him take out my old fillings and put it new composite fillings. Let's face it. Any time you go to the dentist you are going to spend time and money. Sometimes there may even be a little pain in your mouth and in your wallet. So what? We're talking dentistry here, not a hair cut or a manicure. If you want a skilled dentist; if you want a dentist with decades of experience, Dr. Moore is the person to go to. I have been to many dentists in my life and I've had many procedures done. Dr. Moore is by far the most competent and most honest dentist I've ever dealt with. To do the job right it takes time. To do the job right it takes money. Although you're going to invest time and money, I always felt it was a prudent and wise investment. I've never been disappointed or wished that I did not have a procedure done. I've never felt Dr. Moore took advantage of me financially. Dr. Moore is also a professional magician. I highly recommend you take your children to Dr. Moore. My children love to see his close up magic.

I have a hard time believing that this dentist received as many five stars at he has? Especially after seeing many other online reviews that have had my experience. I was first told that the treatment was going to be around $200.00, once I was in there chair and they started working, I was THEN told that the bill was going to be over $1600.00, which was not only a shock and financial burden, but not what I was told before beginning treatment. It was to late to go back because they had already began the work. I would not have agreed to be treated at ALL if I knew they were going to do that to me. I signed for the $1600.00 and provided information and it was paid through Care Credit. It was about a month later when they then told me that I owed another $264.00 and she asked if she could just put it on my Care Credit card, I told her no because I did not know what the $264.00 extra was for and it was not a part of my original bill and had not seen any detailed billing as to what it was even for. I still have not had a full explanation as to what this $264. Was for, I wrote them a letter explaining my financial situation, what these events where (listed above) said I did not understand why this extra amount would just suddenly appear. I asked that the amount be reduced or written off as they advertise affordable. I told him that what they did was NOT fixed and is worse than it was when I went in there. I STILL cannot chew on that side (which I could BEFORE having anything done). I got a phone call saying that they would not waive fees. I tried to send a check ( I think or $15.00 that is all the extra that I had), I got a letter back saying that they are not accepting it and was sending it to collections and I did not get the check back. Their online reviews which I just looked up have this happening to other people. They did not accept what I sent, I cannot pay it on Care Credit nor Flex at this point and did not agree to pay it in the first place because I feel they are inflated and exaggerated charges that I am not even sure what they are. They forwarded this to an attorney...for $264.. I am sure they paid more to the collection agency and this attorney, when they COULD have be a little merciful in the situation. I am sure they have or will pay out WAY more then this $264. If you are loaded, I guess I would recommend them, but if you have a family or are a one income/single parent household NOT on Medicaid and actually paying on your own...I would highly recommend doing your research and going to a place that will not do this to you.

I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Everyone has apprehension and is nervous about visiting the dentist., so I was too until I met An angel Dr. Timothy H. Moore. He is magicians in how they make that anxiety go away. My beginning to going complete the process and journey with entire staff is simply an awesome. They are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They are sincerely their to help us what feels like a extra care when you needed the most :) Professionally showing each details and explains about care plans, other better options with affordable, genuinely Great coast of the entire treatments. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Family Dentistry. I Sincerely Can't Thank Enough to Entire Staff., Especially Dr. Timothy H. Moore.

After carefully chosing this dentist, I had a bad experience at my appointment. The dentist was very thorough and precise to what he was to do. But his assistant was not friendly. I had a lot of work done in one day; deep cleaning on one side, and 5 cavities on the same side. At the end of my appointment, it was supposed to take about 20min to finish up but it ended to be 1hr and 30min. The assistant seems not to know what she was doing, rather than ask for help. She did at the end of it all. It was a good day but it ended badly. I will not have her working with me again.

As someone who is insecure about their teeth, I did not appreciate Dr. Moore commenting that my smile "would be stunning IF i were to get veneers." I went in for a simple cleaning, NOT for cosmetic advice. This was unwanted and insensitive, especially considering he did not stop attempting to persuade me after I said that I am aware of what my teeth look like and was not interested in hearing his opinion. He claimed it was part of his job to mention this, but instead of trying to squeeze money out of his patients by insulting their appearances, maybe he could ask in a survey or paperwork if they are even interested in any type of cosmetic changes. I don't leave the doctor with advice on why I should get a tummy tuck. That being said, the receptionist and the dental hygienist were both great. Dr. Moore is to blame for the 1 star, which would be less if I had that option.

Dr. Moore and his staffs provide first class dental care. I could not imagine going to another dentist. The professional care and friendliness of the staff is outstanding.

Horrible experience! I went in thinking with all of the good reviews (even though he wasn't in network with my insurance) it was worth it because you only get one set of teeth. I was promised this amazing service and what i got was one tooth he smatteted some kind of filling on the side that appeared to be getting a cavity that bothers me to this day. I don't even think he sterilized the area before smearing this stuff on, and he buffed my right side and left a shard between my tooth and gum i couldn't tell at first because i was numb and he couldn't even remove it when i went back. It took me ON MY OWN about 6 months with flossing to dislodge it and there is still a rough patch from the experience. He seemed to be working on several people at the same time and i had to be numbed 2 or 3 times because of waiting for it to be my turn again. I paid him alot of out of pocket and feel that my teeth are worse than when i went in. He tossed me some floride toothpaste and said don't take it if you're not going to use it because it cost $27 or maybe he said $37 dollars! This was after my out of pocket (after insurance) was around $1,000!

Most horrible experience I have ever had and one of the reasons I don't trust dentist to this day..... I sat in a dentist chair for nearly 10 hours while he had to keep numbing me because by the time he would come back it would wear off. I also was told the gum would seal around my eventually crown but that is not even close to true. And I have suffered every since then because the gap in between my gum and crown cause pain. I wouldn't recommend this dentist to my worse enemy. And also I was gauged with a hefty bill that was not previously discussed, as well.

My experience is like most of these I am reading about, so I decided to share it as well. I chose Dr Moore because he seemed so nice and I have known about him outside of just being a dentist. My problem didn't come with Dr Moore himself, but the front desk lady and the hygienist. I am very concerned about my smile and knew that I needed some work done. Since I was a new patient, I went through the whole deal of them checking every tooth, cleaning, etc. I found out that I needed much more work than I thought. I was told that I would need a crown on my one tooth and the other tooth he had to drill in to see if that one needed a crown or not. Well, he dug in and sure enough I needed a crown. Before he said anything else (fixing it or telling me a plan), he got up, and left the room. I was there sitting with my mouth numb and a hole in my tooth. Here comes the front desk lady (not sure if this is his wife?) with an iPad in her hand. She kept asking me if I had anyone I could ask to help with the new crown that I needed. She asked if my parents could help or a close relative to pay for it. Then she kept putting the iPad towards me and talking about the Care Credit card. What choice did I have? I absolutely was offended that she suggested that I ask someone to help me with my dentist bill. I am almost 30 years old, why would I do this? My second complaint happened back in November with the hygienist. She was so condescending while cleaning my teeth. She asked me "What did they tell you last time about tarter? Your gums keep bleeding...mmm." Here is what I did last time. I bought the fancy toothpaste, I started flossing more, and stayed away from anything that was sweet. Then for her to scold me about my gums bleeding, it was so discouraging. I know I have to go back to get more work done, but I really am putting it off because of my experiences. Every time I have gone in, I am there 3-4 hours at a time. I really don't know what to do at this time. My warning would be if you go here, please just be cautious and watch out for any extra costs.

I've been going to Dr. Moore since he started his practice. He and his staff are always current and well trained in the latest dental techniques. Yesterday I needed an old crown replaced and walked out with a new cerec crown!! No more wearing a temporary crown for two weeks and coming back for the permanent crown. Awesome!!!! Excellent care ..because of my distance from Dr. Moore's office I occasionally use a dentist closer to my home for cleanings. I go to Dr. Moore because I believe he is more thorough and he often finds trouble areas the other dentist misses. This is something I actually appreciate. I see some complaining in the reviews about the work being more EXTENSIVE thus more EXPENSIVE than they thought going into it. Well, how can any dentist know definitively from an Xray know whether a cavity is going to turn into a root canal ? I trust Dr. Moore and his staff for delivering high quality work. I have been going to them for at least 20 years.

In my initial review my experience had been great, but it went from good to bad to awful. I was very disappointed especially since everything had been satisfactory. I got my wisdom teeth pulled and ended up with dry socket. I was experiencing a lot of pain and when I called concerned that I had dry socket the receptionist said I didn't have it because if I did then I would be on the floor crying. After a couple more days when I couldn't take it any longer I made an appointment and they found that I did in fact have dry socket. It was frustrating that no one believed me. Then they insisted that I must've smoked after the extraction since back then I was a smoker. I honestly did not as I was trying to quit and didn't want dry socket. Not only did one of the assistants tell me I smoked, but even after I said I hadn't Dr. Moore came in and said that I did. To this day it still angers me. On another occasion they accidentally called my husband telling him he had an appointment. He had to get out of work only to find out when he arrived that he didn't have an appointment, but it was another patient. He got barely an apology. This office is very busy and overbooked so the fact that they make patients wait all the time, but if you miss an appointment will be charged is ridiculous and then to not even show sympathy for the disruption to my husband's day was just too much. The customer service aspect of this office was seriously lacking. Why I returned for an appointment after that I do not know. Finally, for my last appointment there to get a cavity filled the doctor was rough with my mouth (maybe because I complained to the front desk about the imposition to my husband) and I left with a bruise the size of a golf ball on my cheek. All of these things in isolation might have been tolerable, but adding it up it was obvious we should never return and we didn't. I have been meaning to change my review for the past five years and hope that I can prevent others from experiencing what I did. Or maybe to help this doctor and his office improve their practice if not for keeping patients then for ethical reasons. Below is my first review from five years ago. I am a new patient and a long overdue one. I recently got my wisdom teeth pulled and fillings in the same sitting. I was very nervous and the procedure wasn't bad at all. The best part about my whole experience so far, from the routine cleaning to the extractions, is that my questions have always been answered with care and thoughtfulness. Every detail and option included. I really feel I am being taken care of here.

Let me predicate this review by saying I loathe going to the dentist, however the staff from the moment you walk in are friendly and inviting. My hate for dentists that stems all the way back to high school (90's) was eased away in the 4 hours I spent rejuvenating my smile (4hrs because it's been as many or more years since I've visited the devil's lol). Dr. Moore is one of the few trustworthy dentists I have been able to find in Columbus. Dentists are like a mechanic - you really don't know what they're saying, but you have to trust them. Not only did Dr. Moore explain why he thought I got a couple cavities, but actually used a tiny camera that took pictures of my teeth to show me what the cavities looked like, and he thoroughly explained how he was going to take care of it. Don't get me wrong, filling cavities is not a pedicure, but he was professional and it's been a awhile with no pain nor issues. I had another dentist (near my parents) do my cleaning and that dentist asked where I had the fillings done because everything looked so great still! The work actually lasts. His office is clean and the staff was friendly and professional. I absolutely will be returning!
