I have been a patient there for many years. I stayed with them even after my PCP went to VA where I could receive care. Dr. Leonard has been outstanding. As a retired dentist, I understand how important customer service is, and Dr. Leonard is really good at it: good eye contact, listens, and has a good sense of humor. He puts me at ease, especially when we have to talk about the “man parts.” His years of experience make him capable of really honing in on the issue at hand. I value that.

Receiving staff is always courteous, and professional. The Medical staff, i.e. Dr Buchanan, and Dr. Leonard, et al, are a consummate medical, knowledgable , and personable Doctor team. I have been seen by a few of the Dr.s and staff at Buchanan Medical Arts, and have yet to receive anything but great advice, and quality medical care from all. If I have a dedicated appointment time, I usually get seen within 10 minutes of it. The medical care and bedside manners of all @BMA are what we've been missing for a long time.

I was in desperate need to find a doctor for mental health reasons. I wanted to go back to Buchanan Medical Arts only to be turned away because the doctor didn't want to take my situation on. Last time I checked, a doctors job was to help those get better not to turn them away. I'm sorry I don't have a simple cold. I just needed help. I'm just stunned to be turned away. If you want to find a primary care physician, I would not come here.

Can't really say much about Primary Care Physicians....but can say Dr. Buchanan may be the BEST doctor in the state! His professionalism and knowledge as a doctor is only surpassed by his character as a good person. Have been a patient for over 20 years and as I grow older (which I will with his care!) COPC - BUCHANAN MEDICAL ARTS I have been trying to get in for an appointment so my prescription to be refilled, but due to my work schedule it is very hard to find a time. I was scheduled for Wednesday at 1 which would conflicted with my work and sent email to request another time. This morning I called the office to see if there are any open appointments, but the front desk person was yelling at me saying she did not have time to open my email and cancel the previous appointment. Barbara, the person at the front desk was disrespectful, raise her voice at me, and disregarded what I was trying to ask. This is not a respectful way to treat patients who are calling to ask questions in regards to their medication. I appreciate and enjoy my doctor, but the front desk person needs to work on her people skills and how to talk with patients. I hope the interpersonal communication skills are addressed with the front desk person. I deserve to be treated with respect and not taken advantage of due to my accent or who knows...

If I could give zero stars I would. I was a new patient, and on my first visit, I needed a wellness check up, prescriptions refilled, and a depression screening, as I have been feeling depressed for a few years now. I went to my first appointment and felt Dr. Caffaratti was extremely unprofessional. She blew off my concerns about my depression, refusing to even screen me, as she claimed it was a Vitamin D deficiency. It then took two weeks for my prescriptions to be refilled, and even then I had to call after a week to ask why my prescriptions had not been refilled. I had labs drawn on my first visit, and I never was told the results of those labs. I was also told that I never received the HPV vaccine, and after a second visit, was told that I got the entire series done in 2010. So not only did I waste my time coming to the office to receive my second vaccination that I didn’t need, but I was met with an unprofessional staff. I will be switching health care providers.
