1 star for ethical standards 5 stars on the instructional content and effort Know the laws of your state dental board for yourself. Although I do not agree with Texas laws and know the facial muscles much better than an esthetician, this is one I should have known for myself. When I first read it, I thought to myself, this doesn't sound quite right. I personally do NOT trust Malchmacher as he lied to me and a bunch of other Texas dentists in this regard. He took my $3k plus (did 2 of the courses) and gave me enough confidence to put my license in jeopardy. We specificallly asked, "Are the techniques that we will be learning legal in Texas." He assured us that members of the board had taken the course and we were good to go. We have the emails to prove it. Now the TSBDE will likely be looking around the various hotels in Texas for when he has so many dentists injecting illegally at his teaching sessions. If you are in a state where all treatment is legal, Malchmacher and his crew are very good in their teaching and application. I support changing the law in favor of botox and filler treatment by dentists in Texas. I support protecting other dentists from anyone looking to take advantage of my fellow general dentist.

They wouldn’t let the doctor practice lip injections because he didn’t have a patient. He then arranged to have one but they said it was too late, and weren’t even willing to spend an extra 10 minutes helping. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this course. Especially since they don’t let you practice!
