Originally I was supposed to see Dr. Dooley but a month before our appointment she had to cancel; the office notified me via email and phone so I immediately knew and was offered to reschedule. I was very pleased that they offered to fit me in even sooner. Their new doctor Dr. Subedi is FANTASTIC, he is calm and cheerful and knowledgable. I come from a very anxious family and having a doctor that really listens, asks and answers questions is amazing. He was very thorough and patient; and looked me over after talking to me. He did a more detailed followup lab while I was there to double check everything and investigate more in depth. While the results were predicted to come back in a week, they came back sooner and he immediately sent me a portal message telling me the results and as a panicky person it is always a relief for me to be told results faster. Absolutely excellent and welcome to Raleigh, Doctor!

After waiting 6 months for an appointment, I was told there was nothing they could do for my condition. As a healthcare professional myself, I was appalled at the lack of compassion exhibited by the specialist that I saw. While my condition does not currently have a “cure”, there was no plan of care put in place for symptom control and my quality of life was disregarded. It is unfortunate that WakeMed has become so desensitized to their patients’ needs and the battles they face in their everyday lives. I plan to file a formal grievance, but also feel it is important that the public be aware of such issues.

Best Rheumatologists and Medical Assistants ever! Everyone is so helpful, courteous, listens, and does everything they possibly can to make your health situation the best possible. There’s never a delay in getting in touch with someone when needed through the patient portal as well. Never a long wait time for appointments and you are never rushed. Definitely would recommend to anyone.
