Doctors are okay. Reception is a joke. They are probably the rudest people I have ever met.

i am fed up with this place. Should have left last year. My 6 yo daughter has only gone here for yearly check-ups because she very rarely gets sick. Appts were long (but I guess to be expected). The problem I have is I recently took her in because she had a temp of over 103 and they checked her out and swabbed for strept. They said it would be the next day before they would know (24 hours they said). Called end of next day and they said results were not back and that it could take up to 48 hours. My daugthers fever was fluctuating between 100 and 102+. Childrens Tylenol always brought it down. Next day, no call so I called at 4:00 and after waiting on hold for 15 minutes they said they hadn't received the results and that it could take up to 48 hours for results. I told them it had been 48 hours and they said they would get right on it and call me back. Never happened, even though I asked them what I should do since my daughters temperature was going up and down. They also stated we had a credit for co-pay and when we went in they said no we didn't. When my wife called home office they said we did (for over a year) and they said they would reimburse us. Still hasn't happened. Poorly run and lousy customer/patient care.

This place is horrible! If I could rate it a negative I would. Very unprofessional! Please go somewhere else!

Moving to a new place and having no one to ask about Pediatricians in the area, I went to google for help. I chose Wake Forest Pediatric Associates' Knightdale office based on it's convenient location, however I completely regret this decision. This office was unlike any other pediatrician's office I've ever experienced. Trashy set up, horrible service from office staff, long wait times without any entertainment for children, no way to pick your doctor (you just get whoever is at the office that day), and, overall, being treated with no respect. When I left the practice after finally giving up on them, my new pediatrician sent them a request for records. Wake Forest Pediatric Associates proceeded to send the records through a "middle man" records service that proceeded to send me a bill for those records without notifying me that I would be responsible for paying "middle man" an outrageous amount of money for their trouble. If I would have been notified, I would have told them not to bother. I hope Knightdale Pediatrics, and thereby Wake Forest Pediatric Associates, will change their horrible business practices. I hope anyone reading this will choose another Pediatrician.

You have options, go somewhere else. This office is full of unfriendly staff!

Friendly staff. Been going here for 5 years with all 5 of my kids. Rebecca Dallas is so sweet, caring and we love her

Heather Bradley

This place has went down hill horribly. Patience care has suffered as well as the quality. The communication is very poor. Make your own judgments but I hope no one has to get a run around like we did. Beyond disgusted.

John Farley

Wait times are ridiculous. Never see the same person and never an actual doctor.

My children have been patients of Wake Forest Peds since birth. We generally only see them for an occasional sick visit and the once a year wellness check up. Recently, my children went in for their yearly physical, which is 100% covered by our insurance. So, when I received an invoice from Wake Forest Peds for the visit I was confused. When I asked their billing specialist why we had a balance she explained this was for a TB screening done at the visit that was not included as part of the yearly physical, although WF Peds requires it. As there was no blood drawn or skin test at the appt, I was still confused. She explained further that the 'screening' is actually the laminated paper they hand you at the visit that basically asks if you've traveled to a foreign country, etc. You look it over and decide it doesn't apply to you (our case) and hand it back. That's it. That's what we were billed for. We read their laminated sheet of paper. Make your own opinions about this pediatrician...Just be aware they nickle and dime you where they can.

Great place for kids, its nearby our home so that's good. I take all my kids there, the only issue is can't see a regular doctor. Other than that, they are great with kids.

My two children (ages 13 & 16) have been patients here since the day they were born. Drs. Weinstein, Davis and Ercolino have always been caring and excellent in prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The staff members are friendly and thanks to Wake Forest Pediatrics, my children have a positive attitude about health care.

Crystal Teel

Dr Ercolino is awesome! Excellent with newborns and infants.

I have been taking my kids there for 12+ years. Some of the providers are great (Dr. Jain, Melody Rodgman, & Dr. Weinstein) however, we have consistently run across unfriendly staff- most specifically at the reception desk. One visit, they opened 7 minutes late and I had my very sick child in my arms along with 4 other moms and their sick kids all standing in the cold holding area before they'd open the doors. When we came in, one receptionist who has been with the practice for at least 8+ years scolded me and said "we're not open yet!" I pointed out that it was 8:07am and she argued with me saying I was wrong. I showed her my iPhone and then one of her colleagues corrected her and said her clock was wrong. Regardless, not good customer service. Recently, one of my children needed a nurse or doctor to sign and fill out vitals from my child's last physical which probably took all of 30 seconds to do. I asked a receptionist to please get this done for me that same day because the program we were trying to get my child admitted to opened registration that same day and had a first come first served basis with a very small number of openings. After 12+ years there and no special requests ever, we felt this was a reasonable request. The employee told me it would be 2-3 days! I told her that can't be the best they can do and explained the circumstances. She was rude and acted as if I'd asked her to end world hunger. My husband called to express the urgency of our request and she told him she'd have it filled out in an hour. She called and told me it was ready to be picked up an hour later. I thanked her profusely only to be asked to come to the lobby corner by her so that she could proceed to scold and yell at me in front of other mothers, employees and children. She accused me of forcing my husband to call and put pressure on her to get the form filled out sooner than 2-3 days.My husband made that call on his own because he too thought 2-3 days was unreasonable. I suggested if she was that upset with my husband to call him directly because I didn't make the call in the first place. She told me she "didn't care" about our situation and that other patients are more important than my child. She also replied again that she didn't care when I asked if she cared about customer service for a loyal patient family. She was shaking and wouldn't give me the forms that I came to pick up until she was done yelling at me. She told me Dr. Davis and she didn't appreciate either me or my husband or our unreasonable request to have the form filled out same business day. She told me "it's only a daycare form, it's not that big of a deal." It wasn't for daycare and this was a big deal to us. We wanted to get our daughter into the best school program and unfortunately, the school required this doctor's portion signed before you could submit for acceptance and no advance window to have this done was offered. It certainly isn't WF Pediatrics' place to judge, scold or offend any family for any reason. We will never go back. If they feel it's okay to treat their customers this way, what kind of care are our kids getting there? They simply aren't the only or best practice in town. A call to the doctor directly was un returned.

It's an awesome place. They really take care of the hold-downs on bad flu shot days!

My daughter has been a patient here since she was born. She is now almost 6 yrs old. I can honestly say there is not a dr in this practice that I do not like. My daughter is currently being treated for a serious medical issue and I could not be more satisfied with the way Dr Weinstein has handled this. She has been very thorough and attentive. No one wants to have difficult medical issues to deal with when it comes to your child but at least her medical care has been top notch!

Casey Petersen

Incredibly rude staff. Doctors non-chalantly throw around serious diagnoses and make UNC referrals like they're free and easy to get. With 4 children we saw 4 different doctors, each attempting to diagnose my healthy children with something requiring ongoing care. (I guess they like them dollar bills) After following their instructions to UNC Diagnostics, and the pediatrician there telling us that the trip was basically a waste of time, because there was nothing wrong, and he wasn't doing any further testing, we started looking elsewhere. For a referral we actually needed, our calls got shuffled to Knightdale for some reason - we've never even been to Knightdale - and a rude front desk worker there accused us of being the problem with communications, and was actually totally clueless to what our need was. This was after 3 days even waiting for a response - and her only promise was to go back to check with a pediatrician in Wake Forest... another few days wait. We will NEVER be back - I couldn't recommend more strongly against bringing your children here. I've honestly never been spoken to in the smug arrogant condescending tones that drs and staff use at this office before in my entire life... and I've met doctors I would've called rude before... but this one takes the cake.

Mark Craig

We take all five of our children to this office and have been for the past 4 years! We have seen almost all of the doctors that work there and have been pleased with all of them. I recommend this clinic to everyone with kids!! The staff is always very nice and we rarely have to wait long to be seen. I also really like that they have sick walk in times almost everyday!

Very happy with Dr. Weinstein and all the other doctors we've seen at the Wake Forest location. I like that there's separate sick and well waiting areas with cartoons on tv and a play kitchen, and books in the waiting rooms. They also have stickers and prizes. They took excellent care of my daughter when she had pneumonia. I trust the doctors there. Only negative is that once or twice the wait seemed a little long, but they at least put us in a room quickly. Unexpected things can come up and I would want them to take a little longer on my child if needed, so I'm okay with a little wait.

My son was patient at this practice for the first 13 months of his life and his life and his experience was horrible. He had reactions to some of his vaccines and the provider ignored my concerns ( his new provider agrees those were indeed contraindications to the vaccine ). during his initial examination they retracted his foreskin too far and slightly tore it. He nursed all night long constantly and at 4 months of age the nurse's advice was to put him down for 8 hours and not pick him up or go to him. We discovered he actually had a tongue tie, a physical reason for his behavior. I was concerned he had a tongue tie and asked them to look and they said he didn't. He later had laser revision to release his tie. The final straw was a sick visit when he was 13 months old. He had a high fever and a bright red throat and didn't want to eat. The nurse insisted she had to do a catheter urinalysis to check for a UTI because he was not circumcised. I was a new mother and concerned, and consented. They used a too-large catheter at first, I watched my son's eyes roll back into his head and he shrieked. The medical assistant figured out her error and got the right catheter size. I was livid, insisted on a doctor coming into the room and who quickly looked at this throat and said he had a viral throat infection. The nurse insisted they still had to send the culture off and the practice tried to bill me $350.00 for this barbaric service. Thankfully, the office manager was wonderful and she eliminated that bill and I left the practice. It took a year and a half for my son to enter a medical practice and not cry. We did love Dr. Weinstein and Rick, never had a bad experience with any of them, but our sicks visits were always very very bad.

I carry all my kids here, we only see Dr Wienstien and if shes not available then Dr Davis. My oldest is 7.5 youngest being 6 months and we started with him back jan 06 and have been going since. In fact we have thought about moving but it makes me a little nervous i wont ever find another good dr like dr wienstien! She actually listens to me, asks questions and then makes her call. I have NEVER not been pleased with her or dr davis! There is about 2 ladies behind the front desk who are a little rude, i haven't experienced it really before but have seen it. But the ladies who are at check in see me coming and go ahead and get my kids chart out - they are great! Also the ladies at check out are too! There's been one dr i have had a issue with before when my 5.5 year old was just 2 months old and we will NEVER see him again which is Dr Ercolino, although my mom takes her kids to him and has had no issues. But when i have such a young baby who i am telling you she has a barky cough at night all night long and into the morning and you brush it off the first day, then the very next day he tells me well i have a steroid shot i can give her and even though it wont hurt her if she doesn't have the croup i'd rather not give it to her if she doesn't have to have it (I KNEW that's what she had, i have had it several times and so has my oldest), then he goes on to saying the third day is the worse for croup so if shes worse the next morning to bring her in. The next morning which was Saturday morning, i hardly slept any because she was making funny noises breathing in and out, i waited and waited what seemed to be forever for the office to open, meanwhile i recorded on my phone what she sounded like so i wouldn't be brushed off again! I got there, Dr. Davis seemed a little panicked but tried not to show it, her oxgyen was in the upper 70s which is HORRIBLE! she had the croup and stridor (which is were she was makings noises breathing in and out and she was wheezing) which is caused when the croup is gone untreated for too long. My little baby had to be hooked up to a nebulizer right then and they called EMS to come pick us up because she was so bad off it was unsafe for her to ride in her car seat. i have never been so scared in my life!! That third visit which was 3 days in a row she saw Dr Davis! If i had seen that dr ercolino anytime recent after all that there is no telling what i would have said! After all that i'm glad i have only stuck with Dr Davis and Dr Wienstien! They are the BEST EVER!!!!!
