Very friendly office! Staff has always been very nice and we get taken back very quickly! Doctors are very thorough at each visit. They always make my boys feel very comfortable if they notice they are scared. We also get a book at each well checkup, which my boys love!

My daughter went here for about a year and a half until I had to switch her. The people were nice, not that long of a wait but me being the main parent as soon as I added a second person for contact, I was never contacted about anything concerning my daughter unless I took the second person off. Also the big whammy for me was the fact that I asked and her grandmother asked about her ears, seeing how many ear infections she had was concerning us, but no their response was that she was ok, they weren't worried about her ears. No referral to ear, nose, and throat...nothing. It wasn't til we switched her that the new doctor discovered that her ears weren't fine. Long story short my daughter wears hearing aids now and she's only 2.

Extremely unprofessional medical staff! My son had a bad reaction to the medication they gave him and two different employees laughed right infront if us about the side effects! What's so funny when a worried mother has to see her child act like he's on drugs and out of control! Apparently it's hilarious to the staff at Unifour Peds!

The receptionists are always snooty. She hung up on me, even after I was very polite and said "thank you" at the end of the call and I didn't even get a "you're welcome" or "have a nice day" or "screw yourself" or anything. she just hung up. so freaking RUDE!! I HATE the receptionists there.

I had brought my child there for her shot, and as we were walking out- a mexican nurse there was talking behind my back saying out loud, "Hurry, get out of here!" -This was from down stair.

I have always had nothing but excellent experiences from them! I love all the doctor's, but Dr. Millsaps, and Dr. Elliot are amazing. Dr. Millsaps was my doctor (not this office) as a child and he was the only one who cared enough and took the time to figure out when i had something seriously wrong as a child and needed surgery on my head. None of these doctor's have ever made me feel dumb for bringing my daughter in, even over something so minor. I've always been told if something makes me worry bring her in no matter what the situation is. If I call in because she is sick, the appointment is always that dayI. I've never experienced such a great doctor's office in my life. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

So as with any larger practice there are practitioners I love and some that I don't really care for. Yes as other review stated, there are times that I have waited what seems like the most ridiculous amount of time but that's not enough for me to switch providers or to give a low score. When my children were tiny babies there were times that they literally saw me right before the doors closed to keep me from going to the emergency department or Urgent Care I don't know many practitioners that would do that for their patients certainly not my personal adult primary care. I know that some of the reviews said they zip in and out of the room, and while they do see a lot of patients, I have never had any practitioner here not stop and ask me okay do you have any questions and I have always felt like I could call the phone nurse if I felt like I missed something at an appointment or didn't quite understand something that was said. When I had my first child I was a new exhausted breastfeeding mom and the nurses were so helpful with making sure I was getting a good latch and answering any questions I'm on child number two breastfed exclusively and have never had formula "pushed". I would recommend this practice for your children.

Dr. Millsaps literally saved my son's life and I am eternally grateful for this fine group of pediatricians who truly care about each and every patient who is fortunate enough to call Unifour Pediatrics their primary care provider; and it's not only the patients, but also the parents, who are treated with the utmost respect and tenderness that I have ever known. I keep getting a bill for like $450 since July of last year and I've never been here. However, I'm certain it's for that circumcision that was done (had the circumcision done in the hospital). was told it was only $250 and was never stated otherwise. If I remember, I'll call up there. I feel like this place is trying to get more money out of me than they are supposed to.

This review is for office staff, lady with strong foreign accent very rude, I couldn’t understand her due to her heavy accent, when I told her that she was very hard to understand and ask if someone else could help me, she snapped back responding with attitude saying she worked there for many years and nobody ever had a problem understanding her so she stated that wasn’t the problem.... very very rude woman. Not good for front desk or phones. Maybe cleaning would be more suitable for her.

We followed Dr. Millsaps from Catawba Peds to Unifour when he opened it years ago and we love it! When my now-14-year-old was just 8 weeks old, he ran a high fever for days. We saw a couple of doctors at Catawba and they all told us it was viral. The weekend came and we ended up in the ER with a high fever that did not respond to medicine. At our followup with Dr. Millsaps (then at Catawba Peds) he thoroughly examined my baby. He did a quick CBC and told us it was a bacterial infection, most likely an ear infection. We never suspected an ear infection because he never had a symptom associated with ear infections except for fever-he was sleeping perfectly, eating, and playing happily. Dr. Millsaps decided to do a spinal tap to rule out bacterial meningitis (which thankfully came back clear) because the symptoms and tests only pointed to bacterial infection. I'm so grateful for his thoroughness and his willingness to believe me when I said my baby is sick. Trusting a mother's instinct goes a long way!

This doctors office will call dss on you for anything. You missed an appointment, they call DSS. Change doctors, they are calling DSS on you. They called social services on me for switching my daughter to another pediatrician & now they have called about my son.

If I were rating only doctors and nurses, Unifour would get four stars. However, the office end of things is abysmal. They range from difficult to impossible to get on the phone, even to make an appointment. We waited for over 2 months for a referral that never came through and in the end we had to go through different channels to make it happen. We have transferred to a new office and the bumbling Unifour office has "lost" our records request at least once but it is obvious that they are covering up for a very serious backlog in paperwork. I cannot recommend them to anyone despite the excellent bedside manner you can expect there.

I've been calling for OVERRR 20 minutes, NO ANSWER!! Vm says they are closed that the office open at 8 but it's over 20 minutes after 8 and they are STILL NOT ANSWERING THE PHONES.

I have had a bad experience pretty much every time I go see them, and my son is almost 2 months old! I show up for his app. the waiting room is full of people waiting for there child to be seen, and a lady comes in the door with her baby and is told by a woman behind the check out desk to come around to the side door. I kid you not I watched this lady check in and check out before anybody in the waiting room was even seen! Favoritism at it's best! On another visit I sat in an exam room for an hour and a half waiting to be seen by a doctor. AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!! I was told to undress my son for his circumcision check up but had to redress him because it took 45 minutes for anyone to show up and the rooms are just way to cold to have an infant lying naked. When someone finally came in the room she looked in, and walked out without a word all for us to just be sitting around another 30 minutes. I would not suggest this place to anyone who values their baby's health and time. I regret it already

Dr. Rheinboldt is the BEST. He makes every visit smooth, he's very knowledgeable, polite, helpful and funny. My son smiles every time he sees him. I don't understand the negative comments I've read by other women breastfeeding their babies. My child is a successful breastfed baby, and never once have the staff or nurses tried pushing formula on us or had anything but helpful tips. They even referred me to a lactation specialist up at catawba for help.

I have never been treated so poorly at a doctors office than at this one! Never once was I late to an appointment, always showing up earlier than my time, however twice I had to wait 2 hours to be seen for well visit appointments scheduled in advance. The doctor popped in and out in maybe 10 mins at these appointments. I have seen 4 doctors at this office and 2 were the rudest individuals I have ever met. I have called 4 times this week to reschedule an appt for next week and I have left 3 messages with no call back and gotten hung up on, on my fourth call. If you decide to breastfeed your child, please take them somewhere else! This office does not have current knowledge about breastfeeding nor do they offer any type of encouragement or support for breastfeeding mothers. When I asked 2 doctors how much expressed breastmilk my child should be getting they could never tell me only saying that he should be eating "more" than what I was giving him. They continously told me my child wasn't gaining weight fast enough and that I would have to supplement with formula. They offered no support what so ever and I routinely left their office in tears, believing that I was starving my child. I was also told by a doctor at this office that my child had gotten all of the benefits he would get from breastfeeding in 3 months. Current research proves this wrong. I saw a lactation consultant after these visits who told me I was correct in how much I was feeding my child and corrected the feeding issue that was occuring. My cousin also went to this office and as a result of their constant pressure to formula feed her child, her breastfeeding goals were cut short.

AWESOME I WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS PRACTICE!!. When I was taking my daughter for her checkup I also had my son with me. Mind you my son wasn't a patient there. We were seeing Dr Millsaps and he happen to look at my son and asked me if he make him an appointment at Baptist will I take him? I looked at him and he repeated the question so I finally said yes. I took my son to Baptist and sure enough my son needed major surgery on his head or it would leave him mentally challenged or even could kill him. Plus my son was the oldest child to ever have that type of surgery performed. Today my son is doing great but most of all living. Thanks to Dr Millsaps. We love you and the staff at unifour . I would certainly recommend this facility to anyone.

Great office and staff. I breastfed my son and the nurses and doctors were very helpful. As far as wait times, can't complain much, I would want the providers to throughly examine my son and daughter as to any other child. Cold and flu season I expect increasing wait times.

I absolutely love unifour and so does my daughter!! We see miss Karen and she's absolutely wonderful! My daughter goes right to her when we see her for checkups. And if she's ever sick they're awesome about getting her in that same day in the morning as soon as possible. They've also been available after hours for any and all questions and concerns I have. They're also open on the weekends which is amazing because I hate going to Urgent Care especially with a young baby. They have helped us so much in the past year and I absolutely love them!

The staff that answers the phones really need to be replaced or go through some sort of training. It’s ridiculous how rude & unprofessional they are. My son was ill & they weren’t even going to schedule him an appointment... they were just going to have some prescription filled for him without even scheduling an appt so a doctor could diagnose him!

I have a very rare disorder that is hereditary so it was very important to me when I found out I was pregnant that I immediately found a pediatrician so they could prepare for the possibility of my child being like me. I was told about Dr. Millsaps by my OBGYN and decided to call. I instantly knew he was the one. He called at least once a week through both of my pregnancies to see how things were going and to stay updated on the baby. We have been a patient of his for 6 years and we've never been disappointed. If not for Dr. Millsaps we wouldn't have my youngest child. We love all of the doctors there. I will always recommend them to everyone in need of a pediatrician!!

Highly disappointed in unifour pediatrics. My newborns 2 day check up went horrible due to the male doctor being sexually inappropriate towards me and my mother-in-law. Then my child was sick we called to see if we should bring her in because her chest was rattling. They never called back it got so bad we took her to the hospital to discover she had RSV and could've died if we waited any longer. We changed doctors and they started calling us 2-3 times a day demanding we switch back, saying we had to schedule an appointment with them or be charged with neglect. My fiance asked to not be called again, and hung up two hours later the receptionist shows up at the house demanding to see Hannah and have an appointment scheduled. This behavior is highly unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I recommend picking a different office to take your little ones.

The doctors at this facility are not bad. But as many others have described the office staff is terrible. You have to wait a very long time to get checked into your appointment and fill out various pages of paperwork Paperwork which is the exact same paperwork he filled out the last time that you had to come check in. After this month we will be unenrolling our son from this facility and spend our time with our son getting answers that we would like elsewhere. They need to hire people up front that actually care about their job and are not just there to get a paycheck

First, the doctors are great. They seem thorough and dedicated. The administration aspect of the business is the worst I've ever experienced. Not the first time, but today: appt at 3:20pm. We arrived at 3:10. At 3:47, we were taken back to the room. At the 4:38, the doctor finally came in. I should be able to bill them for my time like they bill me for theirs. Abysmal. If you want to feel like you matter, do not come here. They just don't care. You owe them. That's how they make you feel anyway.

The number one thing I love about this office, is that the sick part of the office is upstairs, and the well is downstairs. You do not have to worry about exposing your children, or babies to sickness. I wish all doctor offices were like this. I take both of my daughters here, and I trust Dr. Millsaps, and the other doctors with my children. They have treated them very well. The staff has been very kind, always with a smile on their face. The lady at the front desk, remembers my children's name, and always has a smile on her face. The nurses are so sweet to my children, making them feel very comfortable. The doctors have been so good at making sure my little girl isn't scared every visit. They always give both of my children a book every visit. Now my daughter thinks you get a book when you go to the doctors, and she is excited to go. I live 25 minutes away, but I drive to take my daughters here because I only trust the Doctors here. I have only been late once, and they were very nice, giving me a 15 minute window, which is what most offices do. They also are open on weekends which makes this mother very comfortable knowing I can call on the weekends, or if my daughter needs to be seen if sick. I love this doctor office, and I recommend them to others!

My child became ill with double pink eye. They weren’t even going to see him in the office... just call in a prescription for him. Without being seen, I would’ve been unable to get a doctor’s note. She said “well does he have a lot of unexcused absences?” No he has ZERO & will not have any at all so he needs to be seen! The triage nurse took several hours to even get back to me. I had to call back & let them know how long I’ve been waiting to hear something. All the while, my child has itchy, oozing eyes. I finally opted to just take him to urgent care. Poor quality of service. I suggest getting a new triage nurse that seems to care more & has the ability to do her job without being snarky and careless.

The doctors and nurses are wonderful. However, just like the other review, the business end is horrible. I've been waiting on a physical form to be filled out for one of my children and since all her visits and exams are up to date, I was told that it would take no longer than two days. After those two days had come and gone, I called and I was told it would take 5 days. I am also waiting for a vaccine exemption letter. My child has special needs in which vaccines can actually make her condition worse Really?! Almost two weeks later I am writing this review. Get your stuff together people!

I absolutely love Unifour Pediatrics. As I’m waiting to take my son back to be seen this morning a mom and dad with a tiny newborn come out and go to the check out counter. The lady behind the counter discusses things with the mom and disappears for a minute or two. The new mom looks like she could cry and turns her back to hide her emotions. When the office lady comes back, she comes out into the waiting room and wraps this momma in a big hug and lets her cry all while telling her she’s doing a good job and everything will be okay. I’ve been that mom. I’ve taken my son up there in tears only to have a nurse comfort me and tell me I’m doing a good job. The doctors are phenomenal and they always (always) make me feel like my children are the most important patients they have. They work hard to give us answers before we leave. Seriously. 5 stars for this place.

While we was in the hospital, We choose our baby to see the pediatrician on call, because we are taking her to family care center, an they dont come to catwaba, so we got UNIFOUR PED. I havent ever delt with them before so i didnt know what to expect... Dr. Millsaps i believe, older jerk.. seen lyla.. She was great ect. Ect. Baby was born at 8:52 Thursday night, we was told we could go home friday night after her 24 hours.. which was wonderful, we was so ready to go home, got lyla app. Made for monday at famiLY care, we was all set to go.. UNTILL dr.jerk wad (millsaps) informs us if we leave fri night baby has to be seen IN HIS OFFICE SUNDAY MORNING! why? No idea.. we already have her app.. we want to take her to where we know the people, not to some random doc an pay him, and plus we do not have medicade, the longer we are in the hospital the higher our bill is going.. ( i have a very high insurance deductible). So we ask the nurse to do what she can, to get us home.. this is after they move us to a small tiny overflow room (which we are paying for) she comes in an tells us that DR. Millsaps still says we have to bring her to him sunday morning if we left fri. Night.. adam finally ask.. what if we dont? They inform us that DR. MILLSAPS informed them if we didnt he WOULD CALL THE LAW ON US FOR NEGLECT!!!!!!!!! So even tho baby been cleared to go, i have, we are both okay to leave, we would be neglecting our child for taking her monday morning to HER DOCTOR (who isnt open sunday or we could made her app for Sunday, the majority of doctors arent open on sunday) so we have to stay and pay for another night in the hospital in a little rinkey room even tho we was cleared to leave because of this UNREASONABLE OLD HAG OF A MAN "DR. MILLSAPS" Who threatened to call the law on us for neglect!!!! I will do all i can to give this man a awful review, And to let people know, that this man is simply not A Professional what so ever!!!!!!!!! The last thing we would do is neglect our child... but one the 1st im going to do is give this man a AWFUL AWFUL rating, and make sure people know about his immature threat, an awful practice of being a doctor!!!!! **unifour pediatric hickory n.c*** **Dr. MILLSAPS** WORST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE!

This facility really does have a staff of medical providers that are not only competent but they work together to make sure that their patients have the best quality of care possible. A good pediatric clinic is no easy feat to run and at Unifour Pediatrics they are always trying to make improvements and offer the best they have. I have five children and I know that they are safe at this facility.

They have always taken great care of my children, and the medical staff have been very thorough in treating and caring for my children's wellness. They always follow up with a phone call to check on your child after a sick visit. If you're looking for a pediatrician, this one is outstanding.

When Dr Millsaps was the only Doctor it was wonderful. I was just on hold for 15 minutes to make an appointment, I finally gave up and hung up. If you can't provide quality care to your existing patients then stop adding new ones. The office can not handle it. My son hasn't been seen in 2 years (he is very healthy) and I need a well visit for school. I have not recieved one item of mail even asking if he was ok, or why the long gap between visits. My vet does a better job sending reminder cards for our cat than this office keeps track of children. I'm changing my son to a family medicine Doctor.

Never had any issues with making appointments or getting anyone on the phone. We're always called back fairly quickly but then once we're in the room, we wait FOREVER. The office itself seems a bit run down. It's not a very inviting place. The doctors range from being strange and awkward to obnoxious and clueless. I'm always so uncomfortable to go to my daughters appointments and I absolutely dread them. Every time I leave I say I'm never going back. After a year I finally switched her to a family medicine doctors office.

I called in to make an appointment for my daughter and the lady asked me to describe what was wrong or what’s going on with my daughter. As I was explaining she just cut me right off and asked what my daughters name was again. Gave me an appointment and just hung up. I’m glad that I was able to make an appointment, but I was very disappointed that she cut me off without even knowing the whole situation of what’s going on with my daughter. I’ve been with them for almost 2 years and I’ve had encounters where some of the doctors or nurses were very rude. I’m probably going to change my daughters pediatrician.

I switched to this practice after having my son at a family practice many many times and they would only pop in for a few minutes and say oh it's a virus. We were there constantly. Once coming here Dr. Hata and Karen Leisure have been amazing. They helped me finally get to the bottom of my son's problems and got us to a specialist and we have been doing great ever since. In my experience even if I have to wait to see my practitioner I appreciate the time they take with each patient my children included. They are excellent about calling back and answering questions and the staff always call to check back in after we have had a recent sick visit. I have never had a bad experience here. I appreciate the help and knowledge that they have brought to several crazy medical situations we have had. If necessary they always help get me to someone who can help if it is outside their scope of practice. The drs we have seen are always professional and the other staff members always put both my sons at ease. They are friendly and talkative to help them feel less nervous. I appreciate the excellent care and experience we have when we are at this practice.
