I needed to find a new doctor's office for my children and I had chosen this practice and planned to start going soon. Unfortunately, my son had an emergency medical issue and upon release, he had to be seen. I expected to be turned away to his old pediatrician in Durham or be given a long, arduous series of hoops to jump through as he was a new patient and it was short notice. Instead, we were welcomed very warmly and received excellent and attentive care. Very knowledgeable staff and they even called the next day to check on him. It was so nice to feel so cared for under such stressful circumstances.

We love Triangle Pediatrics!

Triangle Peds is a really great pediatric office. The Doctors are all great, we see Dr. Adams and Dr. Chao and both are fantastic. Any time we have called with a sick kid they get us in right away that day. The front office staff has really improved over the years. Overall a great doctors office that I would recommend to anyone.

Nicole M

This is the absolute worst pediatrician office, period. Go elsewhere. The doctors do not listen to your concerns and you get the brush off instead of advocacy for your child. They failed me and my child. I do not reccomend them and had a terrible experience.

Took my child for yearly appt with Dr Bayer. My kid complained about ENT issue going on 2 months. Dr noted but forgot to recommend med. I called next day but she was out of office that day and nurse Patty returned my call one day after talking to Dr Bayer. Nurse Patty said Dr Bayer forgot about the ENT issue BUT this should have been scheduled as seperate appointment. After I told her that doctor forgot to recommend medicine and she should just say sorry. If another appointment was required, she should have said so at the time. Nurse Patty said if I am unhappy with them, I can take my kid to another practice. I was surprised by the attitude. I wanted to schedule appointment, but she put me on hold and disconnected. I called again, the other nurse picked up. She said call was disconnected while transfer. Dr Bayer and Nurse Patty are forgetting that they are pediatrician and dealing with children. I left msg for Sharon reporting above today. *update: I scheduled the appointment, afterwards Nurse Shauana called telling me that it was my fault that I forgot to ask for med from Dr Bayer. She says it happens a lot, people forget! She told me that now I will to pay for 2nd visit. Everything was fine until I ran into this issue. This is when you know how they handle it, do not accept mistakes and just blame the patient and their children and extract more money.

We LOVE Dr. Capps. We drive more than 30 minutes to see her after moving instead of finding a new pediatrician. She is patient, understanding and informative. She makes me feel like none of my questions are crazy and that my children are loved and supported.

Can't say enough about this practice. Our daughter is now 8 yrs old and has been seeing Dr. Chao since she was a baby. The staff is excellent!!! I have never had a problem making an appointment or getting my phone calls returned in a timely manner. I tell all my friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grace Purtell

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice! I seldom have to wait both in the waiting room or to see the dr. I always feel heard and have my questions answered. Super impressed with the on call nursing staff who have helped me when I have needed it most. The lactation consultant in the office has been a lifesaver in addition to having weekend hours. Can't recommend this practice enough!

Michael Scales

Everyone is friendly and so patient from the front with the receptionist to the nurse and doctors in the back. Dr Salter is very nice, knowledgeable, and caring. Very nice and clean office.

Person at the front desk is really rude and wanted to charge full fee even for cancelling because of solar eclipse. We even called before hand and no one picked up the phone. How can some one take 6 months old baby in the sun during the solar eclipse. Her callous answer was just cover their face and they will be fine. If they are truly interested in well being of a child they will not make such a statement.

i been there for over 5 years and never have a bad experience with them love my pediatricians!!!! DR. CAPPS ,DR BAER, DR SALTER

Very friendly staff

This is an excellent pediatric practice. Each doctor has unique skills. The pediatricians at TriPeds are quite caring and dedicated, standing out in the top of the field in a generally excellent pediatric community at large. I am a child and family psychologist, who has worked in Wake County for almost 30 years. I have known the founding partners almost as long. In fact, Dr. David Horowitz is my husband. The professionalism, dedication, vision and caring of the doctors; the awesome office manager, Sharon Ahearn; the super-responsive office staff; first-rate nurse practitioners; and the extra-competent nurses in the practice make this the fine medical practice it is. I have worked with TriPeds doctors and staff for over almost thirty years. I have first hand knowledge of the excellent patient care for the children, teens and families they serve.

Our family has only been coming to the Cary location for the last 3 months. We recently moved to the area and chose this office based upon its proximity to our house and the reviews. We couldn’t have made a better choice. Each interaction with staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. I love that I can speak to a nurse when calling about my daughter’s symptoms. Kara and Dr. Horowitz have both been gentle and caring when working with my daughter. Recently, my mother got lost on the way to the office (she’s really new to the area and her GPS took her on a wild ride) and was over an hour late for my daughter’s appointment, but the staff were in contact with me and more worried about my mother and daughter’s safety than they were annoyed at the inconvenience. Definitely would recommend based upon our experiences.

Rebecca Adams

We've been going to this practice for eight years and we just love everyone. The doctors are very knowledgeable, personable, and the nurses and office staff ROCK!! . I also appreciate the time they take to spend with you and your child. I highly recommend this practice!!

After reading all the negative reviews I really feel compelled to write a review. I have been coming to triangle pediatrics for the last 5 years. They have taken excellent care of my children. We usually are Dr. Capps, Dr. Adams or Dr. Chao but have seen all of the other doctors on occasion and have had positive experiences. Adams even called us in the night one time to make sure our daughter was doing ok after he had treated her that afternoon.

Michelle LeBlanc

I have been a patient here since I was born, 20 years ago. I used to see Dr. Horowitz and now see Dr. Baer. I have always had a great experience with the friendly staff and never wait long to be seen. The renovated office is clean and welcoming with plenty of entertainment for children and adults. They are very good about scheduling short notice appointments for emergencys, although it may not be with your regular doctor.

Natalie Maceda

Michelle Segura

The rudest staff I have ever seen. Dr. Horowitz alway makes us wait over 45 minutes pass the appointment. they truly don't listen to what your concerns are they just assume they know best for your child.

Hannah Munro

I always have a great experience at Triangle Pediatrics. Anytime I am sick, they quickly make me an appointment, sometimes with very short notice. The doctors are fantastic and really care about their patients. I have been seen by Dr. Baer for years and she is great. She is always very kind and willing to help me. She does whatever it takes to figure out what is wrong and helps me feel better. The office staff is always very welcoming and personable. I love Triangle Pediatrics, and I would recommend it to anyone trying to find a doctor's office.

Lucy Huneycutt

We have been going here since my son was born in 2016. Dr. Chao was on duty when he was born so we have been sticking with her ever since. Everyone we have encountered here have been wonderful. It is obvious that they genuinely care about his well being. I never feel rushed through my appointments and they always take their time answering my questions. My favorite part about this practice is that it is never hard to get an appointment even for the same day and I can call even on weekends to talk with a nurse. I have done this countless times especially as a first time mom.

Jaynee Therrien

Nursing staff was kind and excellent at explaining what was going to happen to my newly 3 year old. They were running on time and we had little wait time once in the room until the provider came in. Leigh is amazing with the kids and my little guy was very cooperative and happy to help with his own exam. We drive 35-45 minutes one way to this practice and have done so for the last 7 years with our oldest. Love it!

Isaac Silva

Amazing staff, Dr. Chow and Dr. Lee are highly recommend!

We have gotten great service so far

Triangle Pediatrics is run beautifully. They are incredibly accommodating for sick appointments, including weekend. Administrative staff, triage nurses and providers are always kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Both of our boys have been with this practice since birth and we have had nothing short of excellent care at each visit.

Amanda Boykin

We love triangle pediatrics! My husband was one of dr salters first patients when she opened triangle pediatrics many moons ago. When I moved to Cary I was also a patient of theirs! And now we have 9,2 and 6 months children and they all go there! We love it there and recommend it to everyone

Roopika Gulati

We really appreciate that Triangle Pediatrics has a nurses line with after hours if needed which we used recently. When we needed to make an appointment to be seen within a quick time frame, Triangle Pediatrics was able to get us in that day. Thanks for your commitment to the wellness of the children in our community!

Lorelai B

We have been with this practice since my daughter was about 8 months old. We love all your doctors, especially Dr Cho, Dr Baer and Dr Salter. Your staff is friendly and super accommodating to our changing scheduling demands. Especially my college student.

Wait times are minimal and care is excellent! Although I have my preferred providers and try to call in advance to schedule checkups with them, we have seen all the doctors and have confidence in them. Billing questions are addressed quickly and clearly with their insurance staff and their front desk greets us always with a smile.

The doctor was really good and I will recommend to my friends

Excellent service! We love Kara Willette, she is the best.

Rebecca Prudhomme

Very discriminating. Cancelled appointments multiple times because we didn't have insurance after I clearly stated we would self pay. Another time we showed up for an appointment and the staff told me my son wasn't scheduled for that day even though I had a note card with the exact day/time written. They started sending confirmation texts but then coincidentally the two times we didn't receive one, my son missed both appointments. Unfortunately, the first time we were in the middle of moving and the second I was recovering from a severe concussion, which I had to have surgery to remove the swelling brain tissue. The day after this last time they sent us a letter stating my son could no longer to receive health care from them due to too many missed appointments. Without calling us, communicating beforehand or giving us a warning. When my husband called for an explaination, he said the woman on the phone was very rude to him. She claimed they had a policy of "only allowing three no shows and they gave us six". This was all for my 1 year old son who became a patient when he was 5 months old and has had at most 10 appointments. I went to Triangle Pediatrics my whole childhood, along with my older brother and 3 younger brothers who are currently patients. I know for a fact my mother has let us miss more appointments than I did with my son... for whatever reason they have treated my (new) little family differently.

Shanna Westaway

We always have a great experience. Both of my daughters usually see Dr. Capps or Kara Willette, and I always feel like they are in good hands! Well visits and sick visits are always very thorough and they always take the time to answer all of my questions. We have never had a problem getting a sick visit, 7 days a week, and have also had fast after-hours responses as well. Everyone at the front desk is always very nice too!

Any MD, PA ,NP besides Horowitz - biggest joke in this place.

Susan Jackson

We always have a great experience at Triangle Pediatrics. I marvel at the efficiency of this practice - they are timely, understanding, and we never feel rushed. Their on call nurses are fantastic and Dr. Adams is a spectacular Doctor. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

I live in Holly Springs, and a reputable pediatrician opened a brand new office less than 5 minutes from my house a few months ago. I took a tour because I'm trying to support local businesses and not because I was in any way dissatisfied with Triangle Pediatrics. It was a beautiful facility and the staff was friendly, but as I walked through, all I could think about were the fish tanks, the animals in the patient rooms, and the over all KID feel to Triangle Pediatrics. It doesn't feel like a doctor's office. Triangle pediatrics isn't sterile. It is full of warmth and friendliness. Dr. Adams has been our pediatrician for 7 years, and he always puts us at ease. As a parent, it's normal to worry about the tiniest things with your kids, but Dr. Adams is so relaxed. He has patiently worked with us on an alternate vaccination schedule with our kids without making us feel like "bad" parents just because we wanted to make a choice that didn't fit with the status quo. The nurse staff is so kind and helpful. I always leave happy with the overall atmosphere and care my children receive. 5 stars for Triangle Pediatrics!

We received the absolute rudest reception from the office staff in Cary. We just moved to N.C. and were referred to Dr. Chao by a neighbor. We never even got to meet the doctor because I care for my elderly mother and had to cancel my first appointment. I spoke to the service (because the office was not open) and explained my situation and was assured that it was no problem. Three days later I received a nasty letter asking me to "find another doctor" because of my "history" of not keeping my appointments! I thought there must have been some mistake so I called the office and the receptionist told me that it was not a mistake, it was their policy! She could not have been more rude. She could care less about my reason for canceling or my children and told me that I could see the doctor for an emergency if necessary until I find another doctor. It's very disappointing and sad that this office has chosen to put ridiculous "policy" ahead of the care of their patients. It is unrealistic to think that patients are never going to have to cancel an appointment. And one strike is even more ridiculous! I guess I'm glad I found all of this out before I got involved and hope I can save someone else the trouble. Stay away!

My family has lived in NC for a few years. My son has only struggled with allergies since we moved here, so of course, my husband and I are more concerned with his treatment than the doctor's bedside manner with us because we want to feel like they are doing everything they can. We ask him to tell us what he thinks of the doctors prior to us injecting our opinions. We, as parents love our children, and because of that can be a little over the top forgetting that this is our child's doctor and not ours. With that said, as a professional myself, I do expect the doctors to be courteous, so that we as parents are not distracted by their behavior and am totally focused on the care of our children. After all, we all signed up for what we are doing. The only other thing that matters to me as a parent is cleanliness. This office is the cleanest that I have seen yet. I will also throw in that my experience with the front desk staff has been fine and a very pleasant person has always answered the phone when I called. My son has seen Dr. Salter and Dr. Baer. One Saturday he saw Dr. Chao for an emergency visit. I don't question any of these doctor's abilities to do their jobs well. I will say that although Dr. Chao was a little short and impatient with me, she was pretty thorough with my son's treatment and he thought she was okay. He likes Dr. Baer the best so far though because she seems to listen to him. He has a sick visit scheduled with a different doctor, so we will see how he likes her. It would be great to find the total package so I am holding on to the 5 star rating. We should always keep in mind that if we don't think we are getting what we need from a paticular doctor or doctor's office, there are many other choices. Our loyalty should be to our children and not the doctors.

I've been bringing my here for almost 7 years now.. I just love the care they have for my boys ..!!the doctors are great and rest of staff so nice..

Jennifer Castillo

Dr. Chao has been an incredible pediatrician for us - takes time to listen, discern and figure out best course of action for my child.

Andrea Perrino

I highly recommend Triangle Pediatrics. Appointments are readily available. All staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Nursing staff will call back quickly with answers to any concerns. Office wait time is minimal. The doctors and nurse practitioners, that we have met with, genuinely care and answer all questions without making you feel rushed.

Cassi Thompson

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, CONDESCENDING, COMBATIVE, COLD HEARTED, DISMISSIVE, with a self inflated ego, Narrasisst and very false sense entitlement Dr. MARY CAPPS or shall I say/repeat her own words to me, " I AM THE BOSS! THERE'S NO ONE ABOVE ME because I AM A PARTNER of this company! So you can't see anyone about me!!" At my most recent visit, I had just had my baby 4days ago- 4 DAYS AGO. On my baby's release paperwork from the hospital at which I delivered, I noticed a vaccine discrepancy which confused me. It listed a date, time, and dosage amount of the administration of a hepatitis -b shot. A shot that I declined for my newborn at the hospital. There was then a line crossed over this information and a notation in quote that says "mother refused."! At this point, I'm confused, have questions, and need answers. The main question being, was my newborn given this vaccine or not. I brought this to the nurse/tech checking my baby's vitals attention which she took and informed Dr. Mary Capps. Dr. Mary Capps entered the room with a very nasty and unwelcoming aura about herself right from the start. A shouting match, YES A LITERAL shouting match ensued 30 seconds later...without asking anything about myself or baby, she immediately question me about my concerns of the notated vaccine. I showed her the paper and simply asked "what does this mean?"....all with a very expressionless face and direct reply, she says, " It means nothing!" Taking a back at her demeanor and responds I had to keep asking more questions bc she was very dry and had a very matter of fact tone with me. Hoping she would give more info/feedback, I attempted to ask about the line but she INSTANTLY cut me off, became highly agitated, began flailing one arm in the air and literally said, " IT DOESN'T MATTER, YOUR BABY DIDN'T GET THE SHOT!" Still trying to keep my bearings together, I reminded her that while she may know what it means, I didn't. As it's her profession, she's should give me clarity on this. I also asked to watch her tone with me bc she's being nasty & condescending. She threw up her hands again and said, " No, we are not going to do this! It's obvious you and I aren't going to see eye to eye. I have plenty of staff that can come see you. Who would you like to see?" I replied, your boss or whomever is over you bc you're extremely rude & unprofessional." And this is when she said..."YOU'LL BE SEEING NO ONE BECAUSE I AM THE BOSS! I AM PARTNER HERE!!" She then grabbed her laptop and stormed out the room. Moments later Dr. David Horowitz came in. Things were going fine until discussing the vaccine came about. He too, INSTANTLY caught an attitude when I told him that we wouldn't be getting the vaccine on this day. At this point I'm in tears... and told him that it's not that I'm against it... I'd like to have some time to read up on it/educate myself and then then make a decision. He remained super stern, uncompassionate, and unconcerned about my concerns. I requested our records and consent to release forms because I wanted nothing more but to run out and get away from place and it's terrible service ASAP! While waiting for our paperwork, Mrs. Sharon, the office manger came in and it was the first time.... respect, concern, and compassion was offered as she apologized for her co workers behaviors and said she'd be speaking with them, specifically. She tried hard to convince me not to leave the practice altogether and that I can personally request the staff I'd like to see for my visits. I told her thanks but declined. Why would I continue to give my time, money, and trust to a Buisness that's "PARTNERED or ran by" someone like Dr. Mary Capps? She and Dr. DavidHorowitz are a TRUE piece of work and are a waste of anyone's time. I feel sorry for her staff and would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND anyone with dignity for themselves and love for their child NOT to even waste your time with this clinic while it is under Dr. Mary Capps or affiliated with Dr. David Horowitz in any way. Proceed at your risk!!!!

Love this office!! Well managed, 24 hour nurses hotline, and we love our Doctors! I know our daughter is in good hands here.

Absolutely shocked by the number of 1 star reviews here. We have had nothing but great experiences, and the phone support has been very reassuring when used. We've seen many of the different doctors without issue (Dr. Adams is our favorite though), and the front office staff work through our insurance seamlessly.

Wonderful practice! We are crazy about Dr. Adams--very calm and soothing manner. Nurse KJ is FANTASTIC, my daughter loved her and KJ gave her 2 injections without my toddler realizing it was happening. The doctors/PAs never act like they have time limitations--really listen to you and answer your questions. Very pleased with this wonderful care for my daughter since her birth! :)

Kristy Hagan

I love the providers, the nurses, and everyone in this practice. They take time to explain what is going on and are open to different approaches. I have been bringing my kids here for 7 years and I will continue even though it’s a 30 minute drive from my house. ❤️

Heavy reliance on mid level providers then physicians act like they aren't aware of patients medical needs so you can come in again and repay

Amit Patel

I feel compelled to write a review here as we've been patients here for a while and the practice is great as we travel from the other side of town crossing over multiple peds practices to see some of the wonderful docs and support staff at Tripeds. In any large practice, there are more variables in terms of personalities of doctors and staff, but a good majority of this practice is solid and that is why I feel like it deserves more than 3.4/5. It's unfortunate to see extreme responses but I read that some had to do with not showing up or other administrative reasons. We've never had any major issues and like many others, we have our preferred doctors, doctors that are acceptable and doctors we may not prefer but again this is a nice practice pverall and I feel worth the trip and experience as I feel they are competent and care. Thank you for taking care of my kids over the years!

Anastasia M

Love Triangle Pediatrics! Always on time, always friendly Plus they provide after hours nurse on call for consultation.

Katie Tennant

Been going for a few years and have had way too many experiences with rude staff and doctors! Today's convo On the phone with a very rude condescending nurse was the last straw. I was told not to bring my daughter in who had the flu after the ER told us to because "they don't want the flu in their office."

stephanie sosa

Thank you Dr. Saulter for being so patient with us!

Cortney Shortridge

Always a good experience for us! Never a long wait. Doctors are all knowledgeable and great with my little one! Staff is friendly and helpful!

The doctors are knowledgable and professional and KNOW my kids. They listen to my concerns and give us good advice. They trust my intuition and I trust their experience and education! The nursing staff is top-notch and the front office staff is always supportive, welcoming and helpful. I could not ask for a better pediatrician's office to partner with in ensuring my children's health!

Everytime we visit Triangle Pediatrics, we are completely satisfied. I'd highly recommend them for your pediatrician needs.

They were able to squeeze me in even though I waited until the last second to call for an appointment. Everyone there is wonderful. I've been bringing my kids here for years!

We moved to the Raleigh area from Ohio. We needed to get our son's four month vaccinations. Our insurance was with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio. Not only did the billing department refuse to call BCBS of Ohio, they refused to listen to them when we had an agent call the doctor's office. This was the number listed on the back of the insurance card, it required no more than a basic effort from the rude office staff.

Ivania Gutierrez

The worst experience today at Triangle Pediatrics with Ms Capps and the staff over there she asked which pharmacy was more convenient for me and then the prescription was sent to another pharmacy it is the second time they make me stay at the pharmacy about 1 hours I also had an appt for my son and I asked if she can gave me a prescription for my daughter with kroup (she was there) the asked me to come back 3 hours later for something done in 5 minutes, any reasonable decision to do that they explained me us because they have to respect the other time patient which is a very inconsistent answer considering every time I got an appt I finally meet the doctor at least 30 minutes later . I am so disappointed when doctors send those signals like "my time has more value than yours" .Still not sure is this happens only to me because I am a "latina" or if this can happen to any patient regardless race.

I have two children that have used Triangle Pediatrics (TP) for almost a decade. My problems with them did not start in 2019. Before this year their service was OK. This year however things have really gone down hill. With Child #1, the problems started when I was on vacation with my family in the North Carolina mountains. While on vacation, Child #1 became ill with a stomach ache and vomiting early Tuesday morning. My wife and I thought that it might be a 24-hour virus but the nausea and vomiting continued for several days. By Thursday morning, we were concerned and ready to drive home and take Child #1 to TP. We called TP’ nurse line at about 8 am for help and to see if they would send a prescription for Zofran, a common anti-nausea and vomiting medication for children, to a local pharmacy. We did not believe Child #1 need to be seen in an emergency roombut could end up there without proper medical treatment. The nurse said she would get a doctor to call us back. After SEVERAL HOURS and repeated calls to TP, the nurse said the doctor would NOT help us or prescribe us Zofran and that we needed to go to an urgent care for help. We called the closest urgent care facility in that rural area that we were in but the wait time was several hours. At that point, my family decided to finish packing and come back to Raleigh. When we returned to Raleigh, we had Child #1 seen by a local pediatric urgent care who prescribed us Zofran and recommended that we come back if the vomiting did not stop. That was on Thursday night. Friday went ok but Child #1 vomited late that night and was very lethargic Saturday with nauseous with stomach pains. We went back to the urgent care doctor and he suggested that we give Child #1 an acid blocker to help. Sunday Child #1 seemed better. Monday morning Child #1 was sick again with the same symptoms. The Urgent Care Doctor was unsure why Child #1 had been sick so long. A chest X-ray and a head CT scan to check for neurological problems were unable to provide new info. Thankfully, both came back negative but the urgent care doctor said to our pediatrician at TP and faxed the information over to TP that night. I waited to hear from TP Tuesday morning to make an appointment or something. They did not call so I called and talked with them. Because I was unhappy with their service, I ask that they fax ALL of my child’s medical records to a new pediatrician. I explained the urgency of the situation by phone and email to several people including the office manager. I now had a child that had been vomiting for a week, seen a pediatric urgent care doctor multiple times, and that the current diagnosis was unknown. For a child, the situation had become serious.. TP waited to fax the medicals records so I had to see a new pediatrician without those records. When they did fax the records over, only my child’s last physical exam information and immunization records were sent. I had filled out TP paperwork for ALL of my child’s medical records and the records that TP did send were of little help. I was in touch with TP and again ask for ALL of my child’s medical records be sent to the new Pediatrician. Again, they did not fax over her complete medical records. I have repeatedly contacted TP and requested all of the records but they refuse to provide any more of child’s records. I am now having to file complaints with the US Office of Civil Rights for violations of the HIPAA rules. These are rules provided to protect patients rights. So some of my problems with TP in regards to Child #1 include: Not providing my family with help when we were out of town with a sick child. Making my wife and I wait hours to tell us that they would not help us with our sick child. TP never called to find out how Child #1 was doing after I originally called them for help. I believe that TP has violated HIPAA rules by not providing my child full medical records.

Dr. David Horowitz was fantastic. He knows babies and their “language” and can translate it for all the adults!

The BEST pediatrician's office we've ever been to. They were highly recommended to us when we moved to Cary, and I couldn't be happier with our choice. The reception ladies set the tone for the practice, and they are incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. Another thing I LOVE about Triangle Peds is that when you call, you get to speak with a nurse! No more leaving messages and hoping you don't miss the call when they finally call you back, as we've had to do at other doctor's offices.. You get a nurse the first time. One of the only problems we've had here, is that all of the doctors have been fantastic, so it's been difficult to settle on one primary doctor for my kids. : ) We've mostly been seeing Kara though, and we love her. She's very nice, patient, not condescending at all...and my kids really like her. Can't say enough good things about this place!

As always we were seen with very little wait time and yet we never feel rushed. They always take the time to listen to my questions or concerns and provide positive solutions.

Love this group!!! Both of my children (Now 11 and 7), have been coming to TriPeds since brith. Their physicians, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, nurses, office staff, etc. are all kind and compassionate. Over the years, we have worked with Dr. Salter (I believe she is retired now - amazing lady!), Dr. Horowitz, Dr. Adams, Dr. Bear, and Leigh Freeman, PA; I have been happy with every single one of these providers. When we have our yearly wellness exams or even come in due to illness (not that often in recent years thankfully!), the providers take their time and listen to our concerns. I never feel rushed or silly for bringing my kiddos to see them. When I was a new parent (had my son when I was 22), I made many calls to the poor on-call nurses in the middle of the night when he was running a fever, had a nasty cough, etc. They would give me very specific directions and call back to check in to see if the interventions were working. A big thank you to those wonderful nurses who calmed this worried mama’s mind! I feel like I should have written a review before now, but better late than never! About three years ago, we moved out to Clayton. While it would be easier to find a new group that is closer to home, I just can’t take that leap! Great practice, great staff - 10/10 would recommend!

I appreciate that Dr Horowitz takes time to listen to any concerns or question we have. We never feel rushed or hurried. We also appreciate the knowledgable and patient nurses with our little ones.

Triangle Pediatrics was not only able to get us in the same morning I called, but the PA we met with spent a great deal of time with my daughter and I, answering all of my questions. We felt very cared for!

Mitch Mulligan

I can’t recommended the practice highly enough. The staff from check in – to check out is extremely friendly and helpful. We love all of the MDs and they have been taking care of our family for a few years. We love the fact that they have late hours for sick patients and weekend hours which keeps us out of the ER or Urgent Care. I had to use the after hours RN line several times and there is no charge for this advice. It’s such a pleasure to bring your children to a place that knows who they are and who care about their well-being!

Crystal Andrews

The front desk staff is warm and welcoming. The nurses/doctors are more than qualified in not only the physical care of my children, but also the emotional care as well. The lobby and rooms are always spotless. They are never late, even when I am! Etc, etc, etc. :)

Taking my review down 2 stars. I got a nebulizer from this doctor office and they said that my insurance will be billed by active healthcare which would have been fine but active healthcare charged my insurance 5x more than the price I found online. Active healthcare said I should have called then and made a cash payment of 1.5 times the online price. I ended up paying 2.5 times the cost of the machine. I expect the doctor office to understand this complicated billing process if they are going to sell medical equipment in their office. The healthcare system in the US is ridiculous. I have been here 5 or 6 times so far and it is usually a 5-10 minute wait. The medical records are organized. They really consolidated records of previous doctors and current specialists so that they get a whole picture of a child's health. Billing is willing to explain the bill and talk to insurance. Of the 3 or 4 pediatric doctor offices we have used, this is by far the best.

Kathie Carpenter

The ladies at the reception desk are always polite and efficient. We we called by the nurse after a very brief wait, and were seen by Dr. Salter in a timely manner. Well run office!

We've been going to Triangle Pediatrics for about 10 years. Very happy during the first few years in regards to the level of care and service from both the providers and rest of the staff, but have noticed some changes recently. We usually see Dr.Adams and he continues to be top-notch in terms of his understanding, patience, thoroughness, and ability to calm both the child and the parent. Even though we are on an alternative vaccination schedule, Dr.Adams has been very understanding and does not push us to follow the conventional one. In regards to other providers, we saw Dr.Capps in April due to availability and she seemed incredibly rushed to get to the next patient. We've seen her before and I remembered her being as patient and courteous as Dr.Adams, but that was not the case this particular time. Perhaps they have a lot of patients now, so they need to rush to see everyone; however, as we all know, quality over quantity, especially in medical care. Also, I never knew this until recently: if you have 3 missed appointments DURING YOUR WHOLE TIME WITH THE PRACTICE, you have to pay a missed appointment fee of $75. That may not sound like such a big deal, but once you're with the practice for a few years, you'll feel the impact. I had to pay the fee recently as we were late to an appointment (and they couldn't work us in so it was counted as a missed appt), which was admittedly my fault. However, when I inquired about the other 2 other missed appointments (we've never had a no-show or cancellation without notifying the practice), they informed me of one in 2013 and another in 2011. Really? It is unrealistic to think that patients are never going to have to cancel an appointment at the last minute...especially over the course of several years; this "cumulative" policy is unreasonable and should be reconsidered. What prompted me to write this review is actually the insurance person I spoke to at the office in regards to the above policy. It's fine to disagree and not accept my recommendation to re-evaluate the policy but it's certainly unacceptable to be rude and dismissive. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, there is an air of "haughtiness" in some of the current staff members, which is very unfortunate, as this was not the case previously.

We've been going in since our first child was an infant. I've found all the doctors to be responsive to my questions. Although the wait time is sometimes long, I've never felt that the doctors are rushing me along. I also have received thorough, kind service from the nurses when I've called the practice with questions.

Dana Szymanski

Always kind and thorough :)

I absolutely love this office. The staff is amazing and so friendly. I wouldn't take my children anywhere else.

Dr. Hewett always shows up with a smile, genuine concern and partners with our family in providing the best care for my kids.

First, let me state for the record we love this place. Even when the staff is busy and completely overwhelmed, they are polite and courteous! Anything, I or my kids need they’re always there to assist. When life gets crazy for me, the help me decompress by attempting to schedule all appointments as closely together as possible. I love this place!

I really like this pediatric office. They are very accommodating when you call and ask for things or when you go through the portal to request things the turn around time is great. There are never hold times on the phones. The office is very clean and welcoming to children. My wait time is always minimal. I have only had positive experiences with the staff and doctors.

Our family is new to Triangle Pediatrics. We have been very impressed how they worked quickly to get our medical records, how they listened to our concerns about our child's previous treatment, how they worked quickly to obtain referrals, how they have communicated along the way, and how they have worked closely with us to find answers for our sick child. We have really appreciated their support when others did not!

Sheri Edwards

We love Triangle Pediatrics and especially Dr. Adams. Great facility with warm and welcoming staff who make you and your child(ren) feel at ease.

Mira Mama

In and out within 30 mins. Dr. Capps is wonderful.

Very unhappy with the care my child received from Dr. Horowitz. I took my child to him for an infection which he dismissed as an allergic reaction. My child was admitted to the hospital less than 24 hours later for IV antibiotics.

We love that our 4-year-old son goes to Triangle Pediatrics. Although it is not geographically close to where we live, we are happy to make the trip there to see Dr. Capps because she makes our son (and us) so comfortable. The new facility is very nice and clean (our son loves to see the fish tanks), the administrative staff is extremely knowledgable and helpful with insurance/financial questions, and the nurse staff has great bed-side manner with the patients. We've only had to see other doctors there on one occasion and Dr. Salter was also very good. We're confident that our son is getting great care and we're happy that he is a patient there.

Our daughter has been a patient at Triangle Pediatrics for two years now. We have been nothing but pleased with our experiences there since the beginning. We see Dr. Baer regularly but have been just as happy when we've been seen by other doctors in the practice as well. The nurses are quick & efficient and the front desk staff couldn't be any friendlier! I LOVE that when I call with a question or to make an appointment, I don't have to navigate through a maze of automated prompts because a nurse immediately answers the phone. Thank you for everything, Triangle Peds!

Dr. Chao has been working with our teenage daughter for the past few months on several issues. We are amazed at the time investment and compassion shown to us by Dr. Chao and the staff during each of our office visits. We are certain that we are getting the best possible healthcare by partnering with Triangle Peds.

The staff is so attentive friendly and professional with my 4 year old never had a bad experience here I love how nice and huge the entire office is. The doctor's were always helpful answering every question I asked about my 4 year old who has chronic asthma I would definitely recommend this pediatrician!

I am so thankful we found this office. We usually see Dr. Baer, but I believe over the years, we have seen them all and we love all of the doctors here. They are all caring and interact wonderfully with the kids. The doctors rotate weekends so your very sick child does not have to wait to be seen until Monday. There is a nurse available if needed when the office is closed, which we have had to use several times over the years. That has been a great comfort, to be guided to do what you need to do for your sick child. They are always friendly and reassuring. I would highly recommend this office for your child.

Jonique Sellers

Dr. Baer is absolutely amazing. Not only does she explain your child's health to you as the parent, but she also explains things to your child. She is friendly and has a great bedside manner. The Leigh Freeman, PA, nurses and front desk staff are all very nice and helpful, however, I (and my 13 year old son) are very annoyed and displeased with Dr. Horowitz. We saw him once, when Dr. Baer was out and we have vowed to NEVER see him again. If there isn't another provider available, we will wait or go to an urgent care. Dr. Horowitz, does not listen to the patients and speaks to people in a snarky, belittling way. In my opinion, he is not suitable for a pediatric office... more like a prison.
