Alto the area that might be the problem is not his specialty, he arranged new appt with local specialist a/s/a/p which means a lot when you are in pain. My last visit was June 15 at which time I found out that he was moving on to another position at an urgent care center at night. I almost cried. I have had such a great experience with this funny and compassionate man all these years. Mark Suprock MD is the one I and my husband saw regarding our knee problems. I had knee surgery done 1-18 by another MD and I wasn’t satisfied with the results so later in 2018 at the first visit I saw Mark Suprock MD I heard he was a good MD that does knee surgeries so I made an appointment and found out my knee is crooked and I will have only 80% used of it and I am walking with a limp. We talked about another surgery but we decided to hold off until my knee gets stronger. I went again 2-2019 to the second appointment and Mark Suprock MD took an xray and showed that I had 180 degree in bending. We again discussed surgery I told him that I still walk with a limp and still getting stiffer and he still says it’s because of being crooked from the surgery that the other MD did. I hate the thought of another surgery for it’s painful so we are going to wait and see how I do in 6 months. So right now it’s a wait and see and if I have enough of guts to do another knee surgery.

Dr. Suprock is an awesome Physician and Surgeron and I highly recommend him 100%. He did both knee replacements and when I needed some hip tendon's repaired he said he would be glad to do it, but he wanted to recommend another surgeon. Dr. Scott Smith who had recently done a new procedure in patching tendons instead of the cutting and stitching back together. In the original surgery of stitching, patient has to wear a brace for 6weeks+, painful, and long period to recovery. In patching, there is no brace, less pain and quicker recovery. And less scarring. So I took Dr. Suprocks advice and met Dr. Scott Smith. He did the surgery in outpatient, in physical therapy after 2 weeks and I was on a walker for 3 weeks. So yes, I highly recommend Dr. Scott Smith also. It is so obvious Ortho Carolina has some Excellent Doctors who truly care about their patients. I want to personally thank Dr. Mark Suprock for caring about me as a person instead of his pay, and recommending me to Dr. Smith.

We have always been satisfied with the medical procedures and advice from the doctor. Our only complaint is the long waits in the waiting room that we endure pretty much every visit. This last visit, we were waiting for 55 minutes and nobody had the courtesy to even come out and advise us that the doctor is running way behind, and offer an approximate wait time we will have. If WE are late for an appointment, we will have to reschedule, but if the doctor is late for HIS appointment we have to endure the long wait. We are in our 80's and my wife has Dementia, and the waiting causes her much confusion. This is her husband writing this post.

Update June 19 2019 Well my sideways movement in my knee that I reported to mr delay 3 months after partial knee replacement has now earned me a full knee replacement. If he was not so busy, overworked and maybe cared, things might have been better. He needs to become unemployed. 9 months I’ve suffered from his surgery, counting both surgeries is over a year and half in pain, and not able to function. Stay away, far away from letting him initial any body part. Maybe he need Tylenol and a ice pack inserted sideways in a certain area. Long wait times, appointments get rescheduled. 2 knee operations from dr delay, follow up care is 3 minute visit then off he runs to another patient. He didn’t even read therapy report. Take Tylenol and more ice, see ya in 3 months. Worst decision I ever made was letting him put his initials on my knee twice. Now I can’t even get another dr opinion cause I’m still under his care. He is to overworked and lost his ability to listen to his patient. Tried to cancel a appointment with him in March and was on hold for over 15 minutes until I hung up. Avoid this place at all cost. Thanks for the permanent limp...

When I scheduled an appointment with Carolinaortho I received several emails of information on how important it was to be on time and to not use my cell phone when waiting for treatment. I was also informed if I was late or didn't show up for my appointment then I would be charged. When I arrived at my appointment I was quickly processed and escorted back to one of the examination rooms. I waited in the examination room for almost an hour before seeing the doctor. When the doctor finally shows up he doesn't apologize for being late. He also tried to control the conversation to the point of rushing me. I assume it is the administration that leads to the type of experience but it is obvious that they were double and maybe triple booking. I also feel that if they pull you out of the main waiting room it is not so obvious and others will not discuss the issues. I was taking time off of work and needed to return ASAP. I feel like my time is just as important as any other person at Carolinaortho. I hope I didn't complain too much but that's my take on it.

Dr. Jones is a phenomenal surgeon. He could not have been more helpful when my daughter fractured her fibula and had to have plates and screws inserted to repair it. He is clearly a skilled surgeon but also has excellent bedside manner which was enormously important to us. Our daughter is a soccer player and was so afraid, as were we, that she wouldn’t be able to play again at the same level. Dr. Jones and Malick were very reassuring and kept our daughter positive. As my daughter said, “If you have to break something, at least there are good people to fix you.”

Doctor Chasnis is one of the best Professionals in the field if you have back problems. I drive an hour and a half just to go to his office. He's the first doctor to diagnose me with years of pain Eleanor and it was fibromyalgia. He then diagnosed a back problem and is working with a plan to address the issues so I will be back to normal. The facility is lovely and the staff is nice, the doctor his Dr. Bill was also a good doctor you could tell he just didn't do much to help my mother and I did not see the point of the appointment. When my mother is 65 and out of breath and its hard for her to get around, dragging her to a doctor that can not really help her or just to talk to her is a bit much. Besides that great visit I guess for what it was worth and nice facility.
