Not the greatest experience with one of the front office staff employee's making differences between parents and who and who not to assist. My daughter's providers we're great and very knowledgeable. Front office staff should be trained better. It can make or break the success of a doctor's office.

From the moment you walk and are greeted with a smile from Tonya, you know you are in a safe and caring environment. Dr. Arora makes you feel like your baby is the only one in the world and takes the time to explain in detail all of the changes taking place for you and your child. My wife is breast feeding and Dr. Arora is also a lactation specialist. If you are considering a pediatric home for the newest member of your family, I highly recommend paying them a visit. You will not be disappointed!

We love Dr Arora and her staff!! So thankful we found her shortly after she opened. I have 3 children seeing her now for 2 physicals each and several sick visits and am so pleased with her interactions with both me and the children. She has always been thoughtful and thorough. My children are ages 8, 13 and 14 and they all like her. We came to her from a practice that we went to since my oldest was born and I was so nervous to be searching for a new doctor when they closed. I can't put into words how glad I am to have found Durant Road Pediatrics! I hate doctor offices where you don't feel human, you don't know which doctor you will be seeing that day, do not feel like your concerns are heard and feel like just a number. I don't feel like this AT ALL when we go to her office. Their computers were down for a couple hours the other month and Dr Arora remembered something about my daughter that I had forgot!! She's great!! I highly recommend her!!

My experience with this Pediatrician is she does not send referrals when needed. Every doctor is not specialized in everything so it is not up to them to make a diagnosis on something they do not have training in. For example, my infant's skin was breaking out repeatedly for months and I noticed her stomach was upset while nursing. She told me to put olive oil on my baby's skin and it made the breakout worse! I asked to be referred to a Dermatologist that works with children and she refused. She told me to take dairy out of my diet and her skin would clear and it did not! I ended up taking her to the Urgent Care after a major break out and was told it was eczema! That is when she finally sent me to the Dermatologist to confirm after I demanded it. He prescribed ointment and told me what products to buy, he also stated Dr. Arora gave me false info and that a mother drinking or eating dairy will not cause eczema, vomiting and gas but not a skin breakout. This was after I was advised to stop nursing and my daughter was already placed on a soy based formula! Another time was with my oldest, I stated my concerns with her focusing issues at home and in the classroom and what the teachers were saying and after I asked to send her for a psychiatric evaluation she blew me off saying she just was "acting her age". Our new Pediatrician I ended up moving my children to honored my request and after her psychiatric evaluation she has ADHD. I would've known sooner if Dr. Arora listened to me as a parent in the first place.

Finally, a doctor's office I don't dread going to! My family relocated to Raleigh in June, and I needed to find a pediatrician immediately after arriving. I found Durant Road Pediatrics on Google and decided to give them a call. I had an appointment that same day! My son and I were greeted by the receptionist just a moment after walking through the door. I believe her name is Tonia. She takes the time and goes the extra step to make parents and children feel welcome. We were seated and I wasn't even able to finish the registration paperwork before being called back in to the exam room. There was hardly a wait time. We met Dr. Arora and she was so thorough and sweet to us. She explained everything she was doing to my son (a standoffish 5 year old) to make him feel more comfortable with her. We were in and out. A few days later, my 2 year old got sick. Again, I called and had an appointment that same day. He is terrified of going to the docor's office. Tonia and Dr. Arora were kind and patient with him. I took him back today for a well child check up and he was happy to see them. They have made their office feel like a safe place for him. I can not say enough good things about the Durant Road Pediatrics office and the wonderful ladies that work there!

Dr. Arora has been excellent with our newborn. She has a warm bedside manner that our daughter loves and we always leave feeling like the doctor was thorough and not rushed. Very happy so far!

Dr. Arora is simply awesome. The staff and family at Durant Road Pediatrics (DRP) are equally amazing. My kids enjoy going to their doctor, and it doesn't matter that they have to get shots. I would rate DRP a 10 star, if that option was available. I happily recommend DRP to all my friends and family.

I recently moved to the Raleigh area and my daughter got sick before I had established a relationship with a new pediatrician. I asked a few of my coworkers for suggestions, I looked at yelp and I searched the web - Dr. Arora's name seemed to be the most popular. I called to make and appointment and the staff were incredibly kind, they were able to squeeze me into Dr. Arora's schedule the same day. Meeting with Dr. Arora was a breath of fresh air. She is a true doctor, someone who takes the time to figure out what is causing the illness, how to cure it and how to prevent it. She is not the typical doctor that writes a prescription and sends you on your way. Her passion for medicine, well being and children is more than evident. Dr. Arora sent me home with a few holistic remedies to try. The doctor called me the very next morning to ask how my daughter was doing and to discuss next steps. Since there was no improvement in my daughters symptoms, Dr. Arora called in a prescription for me. 24 hours later, she called again to ask about my daughters condition. The concern that Dr Arora had for my child was incredible, she treated me like family and I trust her 100%. I followed her recommended course of action and my daughter was on her way to becoming well. I encourage you to visit Dr. Arora. I promise, you, too, will be thoroughly impressed with her knowledge and concern and you will be most grateful to know that your child is receiving the best care available. I can't say enough about Dr. Arora and her team, they are simply wonderful.

Dr. Arora has been wonderful since day one. She always takes time to thoroughly examine my son and goes over every detail with us. As first time parents, she takes a lot of stress out of the unknown by going over various topics and making us aware of what to expect in the near future. It's apparent that she loves what she does and celebrates when my son reaches another milestone. In a town as big as Raleigh, it's rare to find a place where you are able to see the same doctor every visit, and even more rare to find someone who cares as much as Dr. Arora.

I didn't think I would be able to find a pediatrician that I liked when Dr. Karen Burke- Haynes closed her practice. They recommended Dr. Arora. After looking at other reviews of Dr. Arora at her previous location, I was thinking it would be a good match. Being a nurse and having worked in pediatrics, I am extremely picky when it comes to medical providers. Dr. Arora lived up to my expectations. She was able to give me advice when I was on my way out of town a couple times. I have 2 kids, ages 6 and 9. She is great with both of them and has excellent bedside manners. She is very thorough in her explanations and I have never felt like she was in a rush. I say this as I am sitting in her office after finally getting a strep test done on my 9 year old, who never put up a struggle before. Think it took us a good 20 minutes to finally get the strep test done. Dr. Arora nor her staff acted like they were in a rush to go to lunch nor did they lose patience with my daughter. She was very calm, positive, and reassuring. My kids will be her patients until they are too old to go there. I would highly recommend choosing Dr. Arora as a pediatrician for your child/children.

It's great knowing that you're going to see the same doctor and the doctor gets to know you and your kids. My older kids love going to her. We adore Dr. Arora! She does such a great job of earning the trust of her patients and their parents. Dr. Arora is thorough and she takes her time with each of her patients. We never feel rushed! She's also compassionate and empathetic. As a parent, I was a little upset when we moved and had to leave our old pediatrician. But, since we've found Dr. Arora's practice, we have been thrilled that we found someone who is comparable to our last pediatrician. We really feel like family at her practice and she knows all of my kids. You can't put a price on that!

We have been with Dr. Arora since she 1st open her practice in Raleigh and we couldn't be more pleased. She is kind and compassionate and really cares for her patients. Most Pediatric practices have multiple doctors and make you see them all that you and never seeing the same person, Making it difficult for both the patient and the doctor to get to know each other appropriately. Since she has her own practice by herself she gets to the temperaments of each of her patients. On a personal basis as opposed to only knowing them by the file. I have had to call on the weekend and after hours a number of times and she always gets back to me ASAP, As opposed to most practices that have an after-hours service that makes you talk to an urgent care or refers you directly to the ER. I cannot praise her and her staff enough and if you want a fantastic pediatrician that will go over and beyond for your family she is the one.

I am a new patient with Dr. Arora, scheduling was easy and accommodating. I had a morning appointment. The office was was very clean. I was 15 minutes early and I was able to see the doctor almost immediately. I had a good experience with Dr. Arora. She took her time seeing my daughter and answering my questions.

Before I relocated to the Raleigh area, I called around to different pediatricians to ensure we had a doctor once we arrived as I had a toddler, and one never knows when he would get sick. I selected this place based on location and reviews. And the reviews were accurate. From the time I called and spoke to Angela, the customer service was awesome. I have two insurances and Angela offered to call the second to see if they were in network. She told me she would get back to me and she did the very same day. Talk about follow up. Well, when we arrived, sure enough it was the middle of winter and coming from warm weather, my son got sick. When I called the office to see if I could come in the next day as it was 2pm, they were able to get me a sick appointment the same day at 4pm. Hardly any wait and the staff including Dr. Arora was great. We have since been back for post follow ups and well check ups. The ladies in the front are friendly and helpful, the wait is not long, the doctor is thorough and does not rush and addresses all of your issues. Even my 12 year girl loves her. We had to get a physical for sports completed and it was within 24 hours. They called me back to let me know it was ready. Impeccable follow. Highly recommended, you won't be sorry.
