I had a 20 minute wait to see the doctor, but the doctor really spent time with me listening to my concerns. The office is also really nice, so it made the wait ok. I'd go back and I highly recommend the place.

I called to make an appointment. The office sounded very busy, and the woman on the other line offered to take my name, DOB, insurance number and phone number, and she told me she would call me back to schedule an appointment. Three days later, I was called by the office to confirm my appointment for the following business day. I told them I never made an appointment. The woman started hassling me about a cancellation policy and asked me if I wanted to cancel. I told her I never made an appointment, I called to make an appointment and no one called me back, and I told her if my insurance is charged anything I am going to file a claim - she hung up the phone on me. This place is completely disorganized, rude, and I would go as far to say dishonest. I was excited to make an appointment, but I no longer want anything to do with them since they appear terribly dishonest.

Bandages came off today and the wound has healed perfectly. The scar is nearly imperceptible. Dr. Tzu and Yvette were great throughout the process. I was nervous to have procedure done but they were pros and got me through it. Easy to make appointments, minimal wait times.

I absolutely love Dr. Tzu! She has been my dermatologist for over 4 years now and has completely helped me with getting rid of my acne! She works with you to find the right treatment and regimen by checking in every 3-5 months to mark and evaluate progress and make changes when necessary. Not only that but she is incredibly knowledgeable on health in general and if you bring up any concerns or observations that you are having because of treatment she makes sure to address it even if its not related to dermatology and makes sure to refer you to any other doctors if need be. Out of all the different types of doctors I have seen in Manhattan since I've been living here she is the only one that has stayed my doctor for the long run. She's the absolute BEST!

I never had the chance to see the Dr. so this review is strictly about the 'new patient' on-boarding process. Other reviewers have expressed concerns about credit-card information to be kept on-file by the office. I do not feel comfortable with this practice. As an explanation for it, somehow they make the comparison to staying at a hotel or renting a car. It is simply not the same with the lack of standardized claim handling by providers and insurance companies. I need to know that what I'm paying is correct and not an estimate of what the provider believes the insurance company will cover. After expressing my refusal to do this over the phone, they simply will not see you. Fair. They certainly have the right to dictate their policies. We as patients have the right to pick our health providers. Plenty of other Drs in this zip code.

(Ignore the negative comments ....some people just have a "negative" attitude and probably complain when their train is 23 seconds late.) I highly recommend Dr Tzu!

Patients beware. First, be ready for a wait. Second, the minute you enter, they make you put down your SSN, credit card info, other personal info and sign a fine print form saying they can charge your credit card without your permission. If you don't provide this info, they refuse service. I was in excruciating pain the first time I went, so I didn't have a choice but to accept their terms. Of course, once the treatment was over, they didn't want to wait any time before charging my credit card for services, and also took reimbursement from my insurance company (so essentially made 2x their claim). I had to provide proof that *they* deposited funds from my insurance company in order to get refunded. The second time I went there, they did it again (took reimbursement from my insurance company and charged my credit card for the same amount), and pointed to the fact that they are allowed to charge me without notifying me, irrespective of the fact that my insurance company already paid them out (a second time). Coming from a family of doctors, I can tell you that the front desk staff just do as they are told by the doctor. The ethics of this one is questionable to me. I think there are enough solid dermatologists in NYC that can provide the service you need. Avoid this one.

Excellent!!!! There is no doubt that Dr. Tzu is the best dermatologist. Her staff is also the best in business. Her bedside manner is the best! she's very thorough, she makes me comfortable and really takes time with the patient unlike to the other doctors who are like in and out of the room. Very honest and will not try to sell you into unnecessary treatment. Highly recommended!!!

DO NOT accept referrals to this doctor. I was sent there by my dermatologist for a skin biopsy. I was told the doctor only accepts certain insurance plans (mine was among them) AND requires a credit card to be "kept on file." After I refused to provide a credit card, the doctor refused to see me. Again, I'm fully insured by a plan she accepts and I was well-prepared to cover any co-pay. I've never encountered this in a doctor's office before, including doctors I see for cosmetic procedures. If she can't trust patients, why should patients trust her...

The receptionist (so she likes to be called medical assistant) is a complete moron! Camouflages as if she's being helpful but main goal is to help the business not the patient! Very unpleasant visit and too much red-tape in dealing with the only one person staff I came in contact with. The doctor was pleasant but I was not pleased with my visit as a whole. I will NOT be back!

Dr. Tzu is a skin ANGEL. In the small time i've been seeing her she has been a miracle worker. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a great dermatologist to book an appointment with her ASAP. She explains her diagnosis in basic language to help you understand what is going on. I have seen many derms in NYC and she is by far my favorite.

I am so surprised what some good reviews said about this doctor, after the bad experience we went through. My sister and I are regular Botox patients, which recently moved from LA to NYC. We found this doctor on the ZocDoc website, due to her Asian background. On the day of the appointment, everything went well, until it was time to pay. $585 per area for Botox! This is way more than the usual $25-30 per unit, so we decided not carry on. But, before we could walk out, the staff blocked our exit and insisted on a $250 consultation fee. We were so shocked to hear that. The staff claims that they called us a day before, to confirm the payment, which is not true. We received no such call from them. We even checked our phone records to prove this. In the end we settled on a payment of $100 each, before they would let us leave. After leaving, we left a bad review on the Zocdoc website. However, within hours, the published review was deleted! We then learned from others that this website only keeps good reviews, and deletes all the bad reviews, if the client pays an anual fee of $3000. So do not trust this doctor, or the Zocdoc website, they both cheat on the patients and are dishonest.

Having lived in nyc for 18 years, I’ve found it near impossible to get a same day dermatologist appointment, especially when your work schedule is rather inflexible. I saw Dr. Tzu, who fit me into her schedule. She was thorough, and efficient, getting me taken care of (cortisone shots) The shot was very effective as well. Wall Street Dermatology staff was professional, polite and efficient as well as patient with me. They saved me time (and my face from a huge cystic pimple.) in this town, that’s worth a lot! If I need to, I will return and would definitely refere friends.

Not happy with her office staff, the doctor herself is very nice, but just be careful with the front desk, paid 40 co-pay in cash back in July didn't ask for receipt, in Dec, receiptonist claim i never paid her, does it make sense for you to let patient see the doctor if her copay is not paid? Then purposely charge my card double on the next visit, i ask for refund. but she only want to refund me partial. So if you going to their office just be careful if you want to pay anything with cash.

I came for a skin cancer screening when I arrived the first thing I noticed was how nice waiting area was! It was beautiful. The lady at the front was super nice and attentive. Dr. Julia Tzu MD was great, she was very knowledgeable, this was the first time I have seen a dermatologist, she explained everything I asked and at the end, I felt like I was treated by the best!
