It's what you would hope for of an Upper East office. Comfortable, coddling, professional, and discreet with quick service. phone was very sweet( Brenda or Bridget). I had so many questions and she knew I was nervous. ( she chuckled which made me laugh), being this is my first time. She assured me Dr. Sobel is a great Doctor and is a master in his field. She passed me to the nurse Kelsey. She answered all my questions and put me at ease. I had a good feeling about going, after excellent reviews and my phone conversation. The day of my consult I walked in, I was met with a woman named Maria. I was shocked (if not appalled), she was very abrupt, not very friendly, seemed like I was a bother. NOT A NICE PERSON. As for my treatment with Dr. Sobel, he is my magician. I went in for just silicon, he suggested a little filler under my eyes. I must say his suggestion was on point. I feel great. Thank you Dr. Sobel for making me feel beautiful!!! As for your front desk person, Maria when I do return because I will, I hope to avoid her!!

I went to Dr. Sobel office yesterday and had an amazing experience. I went for Botox on my forehead and I happened to ask him about a depression on the bridge of my nose. I thought, I would need a nose job. But he put a small amount of silicone in the depression and like " magic " my nose was straight. Dr. Sobel is a magician.

An amazing experience.I have always hated the fullness in my neck. Dr Sobel did a quick liposuction on my neck. It took about 20 minutes. I was awake but felt no discomfort at all. After 3 weeks I now look like I lost 10 pounds. The nurses Cynthia and Kelsey were so professional and kind. I would have had these done years ago if I had known how easy it was.

I went to Dr Sobel because I had a rash that several dermatologist treated me for, but no one knew what it was or how to treat it. After only one visit to Dr Sobel he knew exactly what caused the problem. He knew exactly how to treat it, but even more important he told me thinks to avoid so the rash would not return. It's been 4 month and guess what, I have not had a rash since!!! Thank you Dr Sobel.!!!

I went to Dr. Sobel for a non-surgical rhinoplasty a few weeks ago and it’s one of the best decisions I have ever made. When I got there his Nurse Kelsey walked me through the whole process and thoroughly answered all the questions I had. While the numbing cream was setting in Dr Sobel came in to see how I was doing and to walk me through the process explaining in detail what to expect during and after the procedure. In my experience this kind of patient care and professionalism is rare in NYC. Overall I am thrilled with the results and looking forward to booking my next appointment!

After scouring reviews for Completely Bare and others, I just went to Dr. Sobel's for my first laser hair removal session. The office, at 82nd and Park, is lovely--crisp, clean, and feels like a living room. I was seen promptly by Helena, who was fabulous. She applied numbing cream, left me to be for about 10 mins, and then began the laser on my bikini area. The laser part took less than 5 minutes. She essentially slides something over the area and every so often you feel a sharp prick. I cringed maybe 10 times during the whole process but it was faster and less painful than waxes at Bliss, which I've been doing for years. $300/session, and a discount if you purchase a package. After, they cover you with ice packs for a few minutes and send you on your way with some soothing cream. I was totally impressed--and I'm a nervous/picky consumer!

His product pushing is not to be believed. Some of the stuff can be bought on the outside by prescription on one's insurance for far less $, but here there's an attempt to have everybody pay retail to some on-site dispensary. After an hour's wait, entered the room and wasn't even told to don a robe. Surprise was then expressed that I was there for a medical visit. (Well he is a doctor. Isn't he? As opposed to a professional Fraxel laser technician?) Expect to be annoyed….total turn-off.

One good look in a high powered mirror told me it was time for Botox and Restylane. My face looked like it was full of lines around my mouth and between my eyes. The Doctor's name that I had been hearing from a lot of my friends was Dr. Sobel. I was immediately impressed by how lovely the waiting room (more like a living room) was and more importantly how nice his front staff was. I was then taken to a room to be prepared for the injections and his nurses couldn't have been nicer and reassuring. When I met Dr. Sobel he was kind , very friendly and gentle when injecting me. His nurse was very attentive and put an ice pack on the areas he injected. The best part of my visit is how wonderful I look and feel about myself. Overall I had an excellent experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him very highly.
