Triple C: Clean Calming Caring. I see the dermatologists but I spend most of my time with Maria the aesthetician. She is great at what she does. Both departments address your issues and concerns spot on and in turn you get great results.

I’ve had bad acne my whole life. Finding a practice where they listen to you, come to a treatment that works with your life and can get an appointment easily has been amazing. The PA at the Chelsea office along with Dr Zalaya are extremely professional and have tremendous bed side manner. I highly recommend this location.

It is remarkable when finding a physician who takes the time, is dedicated, and has the medical knowledge to make a difference is a patient's life. Dr Zelaya is not only extremely knowledgeable - he really cares and takes pride in patient care!! He has followed all my medical charts from various doctors and stays on top of my continuity of care. Dr Zelaya is dedicated to his patients and takes pride in their care. His medical assistants and staff provide the same care in accommodating appointments and follow up.

This review is for Maria the Aesthetician in the office. I can't say enough great things about Maria, she is absolutely wonderful!!! I've been getting facials for many years and Maria is by far the best! She is so knowledgeable about skincare, she listens to your concerns, answers all your questions (and I always have A LOT!) and makes great recommendations for products to use at home. Maria is very thorough and spends a lot of time with each of her clients and you always have her undivided attention. I've never received this type of treatment anywhere else. Maria is so personable, the first time I met her I felt like I was hanging out with one of my girlfriends. Every time I have an appointment I have a great time chatting with her and I leave glowing! Can't wait to try some of the other services she provides.

Called to inquire about available positions and the extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist hung up the phone. When I called back she continued to pick up the phone and immediately hang up. This happened on Thursday May 30th and 5:17pm. Extremely unprofessional and immature behavior that does not reflect well on the business.

The service is excellent. Dr. Zeleya is great, he listens to his patients and he takes his time in developing an effective treatment plan for an individual. The clinicians/receptionists are always professional with patients. In closing, Maria Sierra does great facials, peels, microdermabrasion. waxing, and CoolSculpting. What makes Skinworks an unique place is their ability to communicate with one another in addition to being on the same page with the patient as well. Prior to getting a facial Maria is already aware of my clinical background which I think is awesome. I highly recommend Skinworks.

SB: Oh and his staff is phenomenal whoever was assisting with him with asking questions as far as am I using the same medication ( I forgot what their called ) but she was really Da bomb. ! I love this place! I've been a patient of Dr. Zelaya's for over 8 years. I first started seeing Dr. Zelaya after suffering from acne, especially cystic acne. After a couple of months under his care, I no longer had to deal with the embarrassing pimples I kept getting no matter what I tried. It was during one of my visits to his Manhattan office that I had the pleasure of meeting Maria, his assistant , who also provides her own slew of beautifying services such as facials, electrolysis, waxing, and more. Maria has a wonderful bedside manner. She takes the time to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed before she starts prepping you for whatever it is that you are there for. Her office always makes me want to go to sleep as soon as I lay down on the patient bed - it's that relaxing! :-) She is very clean, friendly and knowledgable about how to keep your skin in tip top shape. I never feel rushed when I see her and I always leave feeling like she did a great job on me. I very much recommend Maria for your beauty needs!

The staff that attends the clients to give an appointment are without rude. They change your appointments and don't let you know. I had an appointment in Queens and they pretended that I had to go to Brooklyn now without letting me know beforehand. Do not waste your time.

Maria Sierra is an incredible esthetician with a lovely personality. Hands down the best eyebrow wax in the city, I will not go anywhere else. Her facials are next level since she works within a dermatology office you are getting a personalized skin treatment above and beyond what the best spas in the city offer. I recently started getting dermaplanning, it takes away dry skin leaving your face looking young and radiant. It's been especially beneficial during the winter months when my skin is super dry. I can't say enough great things about Maria and Skinworks. Dr. Zelaya is my dermatologist, he's awesome too!

Maria is amazing! I’ve been coming to maria for about 2 years now. When I get waxed and/ or laser done, she tells me everything of what she is going to use and do. Maria is always careful at what she does and is very patient. She Never makes her customers feel uncomfortable, always Professional, very clean room, using new tools. She always provides cleaning essentials and cooling gels. Maria confirms the appointment the day before which is a huge plus! She’s great at what she does and I highly recommend her!

She took the time to explain the process and how it works. She also reassured me that I will be happy with the results and boy, was she right!
