After 78 years of skin problems, it was a gift to find Dr. Roy Seidenberg. He is efficient, exact, and expert in every way. A small bump on my cheek that another dermatologist twice unsuccessfully tried to remove, he was able to excise so skillfully that not even the slightest trace remains, cheek smooth and natural. For facial itch, he found the perfect cream, one that actually worked quickly and well. He hears what the patient says and is bright and positive in outlook. He is everything a physician ought to be. Before my appointment I was told to fill out the new patient forms from the website, but when I got to the office, I was told that the forms on the website were extremely out of date and they were surprised they still had them posted. Rather than transcribing my information or accepting the old forms as a courtesy, they made me fill out a completely new set of forms. I had arrived 10 minutes early and was able to complete the new forms prior to my scheduled appointment time, but then nonetheless ended up having to wait more than 45 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment to be seen. On the bright side, Dr. Seidenberg was very apologetic one I finally did get to see him, and took plenty of time to conduct a thorough exam and make sure all my questions were answered. He said that Friday afternoons during the summer tend to be especially busy times, and while I maintain that is no excuse to get so far behind schedule, I guess it's worth keeping in mind that that's the way the office is run if you are planning to book an appointment.

Visiting Dr. Seidenberg was a pleasure and an excellent clinical experience, overall. He is knowledgeable, personable and warm. His exam was meticulous and he explained his findings as he went along, also offering care recommendations. As scheduled in advance, he removed multiple skin tags and several moles during the visit and did a great job. The nurse who worked with him (and me) that day, Shameka (sorry if I misspelled your name!), is the consummate professional, careful and gentle when injecting local anesthetic and dressing my wounds, and a lovely person. Overall, the visit was great - in and out in about an hour, the web forms were fine ahead of time, and the front desk was efficient and pleasant. By the way, I am a physician with a busy surgical practice and they didn't know any of this when I came in. I was treated exactly in the way I aspire to care for others.

I came to Dr. Seidenberg with high expectations because he had been recommended by my primary care physician. I left very disappointed. The first thing Dr. Seidenberg asked was why I rescheduled our appointment a few times. I told him I had to because of work deadlines. He said, "oh that's interesting" and proceeded to insinuate that my work isn't very important. His inspection of my skin issue was cursory and took all of one second, and his explanation sounded lazy. He just seems more interested in his bottom line than in putting serious thought into seeing patients.

My life partner, Iris S . came to Dr Seidenberg some 7 years ago. She had some concerns over her skin and knew of Dr. Seidenberg's fine reputation. Dr. Seidenberg saved her life-while doing a full body inspection, he discovered a red dot the size of a pinhead, removed it and sent it out for a biopsy. It turned out to be a melanoma. Surgery was performed immediately-the margins were clear. But for Dr. Seidenberg's training and experience, her condition would have gone untreated perhaps for years.
