I’ve been going to Dr. Bernstein for the last couple of years and I can’t imagine myself ever going to another doctor. He is a compassionate, caring and gentle doctor who takes the time to listen and never rushes you out. I just let him know my thirteen year old will be visiting him in two weeks because I trust no one else with her skin. Not only is Dr. Bernstein amazing the entire office is great. From calling to make an appointment to interacting with the various office staff the entire visit is effortless. I always look forward to my visits.

I went to Dr. Geronomous in 1988 and a few times since but recently went to Dr. Belkin for broken capillaries. He is such a perfectionist who really wants you to be happy. He cleaned up some broken capillaries and also a few brown spots. If you have any scabbing or burns, ensure you apply Acquafor daily. They invest in the best lasers, that’s why celebrities go. I highly recommend them.

In this field, you will meet with doctors that genuinely want to help and unfortunately, you will also meet with other cosmetic providers that are there to take your money. In this case, I experienced the latter of the two. I went in for a pricey consultation of $450, believing that Dr. Geronemus was the most prominent in the field of lasers. The consultation with him was extremely brief (5-10 minutes if that.) He leaves you with the coordinator to discuss the type of lasers available which I feel is something that he should've been discussing being that he's the one that administers them. When I expressed my concern about the very brief "discussion" with the doctor, the receptionist at the front desk explained that the consult fee would go towards the procedure. I partook in treatment because I didn't want to feel that I wasted $450 and allowed him to perform a laser on my forehead and a laser of a different type on a scar I had on my body. I asked questions as to the type of laser he used and he left his assistant to answer my questions as if he had other things to do. He didn't clean the area prior to lasering it so he ablated my "makeup". I've never had a doctor treat an area without wiping or removing any impurities. Post procedure I wasn't confident in the treatment rendered so I sought a second and third opinions. In both cases, the those doctors told me that the laser that were used may not have been effective because I have too much pigment and that either nothing would happen, or the laser that was used could potentially make the area even darker. That was exactly what happened. The area that was laser on my face didn't change at all and the scar in my body worsened with pigment. I feel that this was simply rendered to take my money and just to say that he lasered the area. I believe he just used a laser that he thought probably wouldn't damage my skin, but probably wouldn't be effective either. In this instance, I don't feel that he rendered the best care. I am actually going to another medical provider tomorrow to fix the area that this doctor lasered that made the pigmentation twice as dark on my body. Total waste of money and disregard for genuinely wanting to take care of the problem. Not the best procedure, medical advise or experience. I wouldn't recommend this place.

So far happy with my procedure, did the Fraxel laser and Ruby laser on darker spots . Dr Geronemus and the laser skin surgery center came very highly recommend by several people. Went in for a consultation and decided to have it done that day. Everyone from receptionist to nurse are super nice and helpful. Took 45 min to numb the face, probably 15-20 for the procedure and it was pretty much pain free. Left a bit red. Today redness mostly gone. A bit freckling and hopefully in the next day or two will get a bit darker and start to peel or flake off. Not much discomfort after, except a little cool as if I had a sunburn but not even that bad. By later in day that was gone. Keeping well moisturized. doesn’t feel any different than normal day but looks like I have freckles from lying out.

Having been a dermatology patient for >20 years and a redhead, I am very particular about my dermatologist having had about a dozen after living across the country. There are good and bad, very clear. The bad overlook what should be found. Bradley Bloom is a great dermatologist - thorough and works to prevent cancer. Knowledgeable and being a Mohs surgeon adds a layer expertise not found in a typical dermatologist. He has a great personality as well, which lends to a great experience overall. Highly recommend him.

The staff is always pleasant and helpful on the phone, and go out of their way to schedule and assist their patients in the best way possible. Dr. Jeon and Dr. Ferzli are also standout doctors in the practice--as they truly understand different skin tones and backgrounds including patients of color, in ways most dermatologists do not. If you are looking for a solution, take the time to come here--it is the best dermatology office I have ever visited by a mile. I highly recommend this office and am always happy when I am able to visit.

I rarely write reviews but I had such a horrible experience with Dr. Bae I felt compelled to write this to help anyone else not be fooled by the positive reviews. My appointment with Dr. Bae lasted less than 3 min. where she proceeded to wrongly diagnose me, prescribe me medication that made my condition WORSE and walked out of the room before I could even ask a single question. I was left speechless from the lack of time and care that was given to me. I had to go to a different dermatologist the next day for proper care & diagnosis.

If you believe in God. Then don't apply here. Before I was hired at the interview I informed Lisa the billing manager that I had church service on Tuesdays and 5 would be the latest I could stay. She said that wouldn't be a problem with the other Lisa present. Now Joan Agnetti when I explained at my interview that it was no problem and I mentioned it before I was hired. She replys. We don't work around people school or family schedule. I repeated myself. It was decided before I signed paper. As part of my religious belief just as I keep the Sabbath day I'm obligated to keep third day service. She thinks a job should come before God. Even today I told her this job does not come before my God. She just shrugged her shoulders. When an agreement is made before hire its called a verbal agreement. Most importantly I'm glad I attended service I already have interviews for today and the rest of the week. If you believe in God in any way and have certain days to keep don't apply here she has a problem with God.

Reception staff is incredibly rude and condescending, and I am a cash patient who probably spend ~ 15k here. Last time I saw Dr. Henry, she took in a patient w/out appointment at my scheduled appointment time. My appointment ended up running about 1 hour late - and not only I had to pay a babysitter for extra hour, I didn't get to see my daughter who ended up going to sleep by the time I got home. I didn't say anything. Today some lady who fails to identify herself calls me to confirm my appointment. I have scheduled another appointment following this one that is also cash and 400$ nonrefundable. I explain I can't wait for 60-75 minutes for appointment and to please leave a note for the doctor that if she is going to run late, I'm going to have to leave on a date as I have another commitment scheduled. The caller pressures me to reschedule - I decline saying it's a ridiculous expectation that I should always come for an appointment expecting to be there an extra 75 minutes. She says patients pay "very expensive prices" for these treatments so the doctor is allowed to run late to please her patients. I bring up that I am also cash and not insurance patient and she stumbles and then says how incredibly inconsiderate I am to think about leaving if the doctor is running late and starts lecturing me that I should wait as long as necessary. I ask for her name since she initially failed to identify herself, she slams the phone and hung up on me. I speak with manager, they can't even identify the person, so the moral of the story staff here can be as vial and as nasty to you at their own discretion and suffer 0 consequences because can't be identified.

I was charged $400 for a consult in 2014, I could have had the procedure right there, but chose not to. I was told that the $400 would go to future work if I changed mind. In 2017 I decided to do the work, they still had my name in their records, but I was now told that I had only 6 months from the date of the consult to do the work or it was void. The issue is I was never told that I had only 6 months to decide at the consult. After I hung up, this didn't sit right and I called back and was told by the same receptionist that she would talk to the office manager, that this is a new rule (if it is a new rule it should not apply to me) and that she is new there... Had I not called back that would have been the end of it, I would be out $400. I now have to wait for the manager to call. If you are unsure about a treatment, don't go to a place that charges $400 for a consult and tells you that fee goes to future work and then tells you their policy changed and you just lost your money.

Will not be back to this dermatologists office based on the difficulty I've had getting a simple refill- 9 days later and still don't have a script. I saw Dr.Krant a few months ago who was fine - however, I did find it strange that during my appointment not 1 but 2 nurses sat though the entire appointment with us. I left the appointment with a script for clinda wipes for acne and planned on following up with this doctor for yearly skin checks and any other skin issues I had. So now a few months after my initial appointment I go to get my refill from the pharmacy and they tell me I don't have any left... apparently the MD only gave me 2, one month refills despite her saying she didn't need to see me for another year at the conclusion of my appointment. My pharmacy has been calling since then asking the MD to authorize refills(9 days ago). Since it's now been over a week, I finally decide to call the office to follow up and see what the issue is. First time I called today I spent 15 minutes on hold waiting for an nurse to pick up... haven't they heard of voicemail? Second time I call, around 1 pm, all the nurses are out to lunch so the receptionist asks if I would like to leave a voicemail. I was just happy to not have to wait on hold again so I gladly agreed thinking someone would call me back. Now 4 pm hits and I still haven't heard a thing so I decide I'll call back AGAIN. Finally get through this time and speak with a nurse. She tells me they HAVE HEARD from my pharmacy several times but she doesn't know if they'll be able to get me the refill today, they have to wait for MD to authorize. I'm sorry hasn't this MD had all of 9 days to sign off on the most basic prescription - clindamycin wipes!! And I've been breaking out horribly since I haven't had them in over a week. I explain the situation and ask her to follow up with the MD...this nurse then proceeds to have an attitude with me and says there isn't anything they can do they have to wait for the MD to authorize. I could understand if there was an issue and they had tried to get in touch with me to let me know or had asked me to come in for an appointment etc but they have just completely ignored the multiple refill requests!! Well needless to say I will NOT be back to this office and I warn others to stay away too... clearly no one in this office cares all that much about your skin and I actually doubt their competence if they can't handle the most basic refill within 9 days of request, all the while knowing that their patients will be breaking out in the meantime.

I came to this facility for help with one very specific issue - improving on a small facial scar from a dermatologist's skin biopsy a couple years prior - and, unfortunately, through a series of treatments from Dr. Shelton the scar situation became considerably more complex. On the positive side, I was grateful to receive treatment free of charge after my surgical complication. Also, the staff here are very kind and the office is clean.

Dr Elliott Weiss is truly excellent I had more surgery done on my lip 6 years ago and he did A perfect job he removed all the cancer and you couldn't even tell that I had surgery. This week I had a lump removed on my back and you couldn't even feel a thing pain free during procedure. I went to my regular dermatologist for a yearly check up there was something growing underneath one of my fingernail cuticles he looked puzzled and said we will have to biopsy this he brings in the surgeon and says he will have to remove half my nail possibly the whole thing it will not grow back and tip of my finger will not have feeling I decided to look up a nail specialist and I came across dr. Stern I made the appointment she took one look at it and said it was from a cyst said not to have the biopsy done rather go for an ultrasound the ultrasound did not show anything I did a little more research on my own and seen pictures of what my finger nail looked like online and it was from a cyst it has since gone away on its own which dr. Stern said could happen if it returns I will go to a hand specialist and have it removed by them which she recommended I still have high regard for my dermatologist but if you have a nail problem go see doctor Stern

I called and spoke to the kindest receptionist who got me an appointment the next day after mentioning I was going out of town soon and really needed to see a doctor as my lipoma was sitting on a bad spot on my back, causing me pain. My primary care had seen me and referred me to our surgeon and I was told that appointment wouldnt take place for almost 3 months... just for the consultation. Not sure how much longer I would've had to wait for the actual appointment. So I was very happy to get an appointment next day at this facility. Once there I was highly impressed at the friendly and professional staff. The facility was spotless and the doctors and assistants were knowledgeable and energetic. When Dr Bae heard my story she asked if I would like to have my lipomas removed that day. After a short wait and one hour later two medium sized lipomas were surgically removed from my back and I was on my way home. I love this place and highly recommend it. They have many services here and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you to everyone there for a great experience.

I did tons of research and found Dr. Bae at Laser & Skin Surgery Center in NYC. I couldn't be any more happier. When I met her in her office on March 27, she was super confident!!! Quote, that's so easy to fix! Why took you so long to get here. I can get you out here in minutes. You will be happy with the results. Wow!!! She was right! On May 3rd, my skin looks so clear and amazing! It's unbelievable! I will definitely see her again for other things. Highly recommended!

My experience with Dr. Anolik and Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York has been great. The office is neat/clean and the staff are all very friendly. I have a Nevus of Ota (birthmark) around my right eye and for the first time in my life I feel confident enough to go out without makeup and look people in the eye- because I would always look down or away thinking people were staring at my birthmark which strongly resembled a black eye. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Anolik for erasing my low self esteem with your lasers!!!
