Returned a couple of items for store credit, and received a piece of receipt paper back for credit that's good for 1 year. Are you kidding me they couldn't issue a gift card with the credit on it? Something that can't tear or fade like receipt paper. Also A/C doesn't work on top floor, and it's been broken for a while. Hey corporate office for Dr Jays, do you even care about that store anymore? I say no. 410 Westchester bronx, ny.

No privacy changing areas for women. Business was denied when requesting accomodation. Was told that this a "men's" store and should expect the "appropriate" services. Women are seen actively shopping in store. Dr. Jay's Ladies do not carry sizes for plus sized women. The obvious conflict ensues. Female manager was ignorant/unsimpathetic to female concerns...

Customer service is horrible. Not a good idea to buy accessories there. If you notice it's broken when you get home they won't exchange it. They simply tell you "You wore it already!!" When in truth you never got a chance too.

Horrible return policy. They sold me a mismatched sweat suit and denied me a redund bc they couldnt exchange for the correct size! Refused to take additional discount on last pair of scuffed up sneakers they were selling. A lot of their items are over priced and over sized. I'm happy that a Marshall's and Burlington Coat Factory just opened up down the block from them.

Wish there was a way to give a thumbs down instead of only stars. I was on my way to work & rushed in from the 90° weather to grab a belt really fast. The woman in the front directed me to the section with belts, than got nasty with me when she saw i had an italian icy in my hand. I told her i just need to grab a belt really fast & I'll be right back out. As i walked to the belt section, she proceeded to scream on the intercom "there's no open containers, no open containers". Since she wanted to make such a big deal over a little icy that I'd literally already finished as i was walking in, i turned & decided to take my business elsewhere. As i was walking out she said something under her breath, so i walked over to her & showed her the icy was finished, than left it on the shelf next to where she was standing by the door & told her she just lost a customer. As i turned to walk out, the employee literally threw the icy cup at me. I turned around & asked her if she really just did that & she said "Yes! It should have hit you!" than started laughing. If i wasn't in such a rush, i would have spoken to her supervisor about why their employees think it's okay to assault customers & laugh about it. This place is is exactly the reason why the Bronx has such a bad reputation. You can take people out of the hood, but you can't take the hoodrat out of the person. P.S. - i posted a picture of her on google. She's about 40-45, Indian or Gianese, with a heavy accent. (i told you i was going to report you sweetheart, next time learn some business etiquette. We don't throw things at customers here in America.)
