Having worked under Dr. Cooke during my medical and public health training could not have been a better experience. Her unique dedication to patients was especially refreshing. Listening closely to her patients, Dr. Cooke delves into her broad arsenal of traditional and non-traditional therapies to create the best plan individually suited for each patient's concerns/ conditions/ lifestyles. Initially, I was impressed by the great distances some patients traveled to see Dr. Cooke, but the reason for their commitment quickly became obvious. Her extensive medical proficiency is complemented by a genuine personal touch that is unfortunately too rare in today's healthcare. I am grateful that her expertise has contributed to molding my professional identity, and I highly recommend Dr. Cooke to anyone seeking a healthcare provider.

Dr. Cooke is a terrific doctor; I highly recommend her practice. I’ve been working with Dr. Cooke for about a year and she is the first doctor I’ve met who has truly been able to help me move the needle on long-standing health concerns, which include chronic fatigue and digestive issues. She’s a compassionate listener and an excellent critical, creative thinker who was able to translate her understanding of my issues into a finely tailored personal wellness plan. I had been very unwell, with a variety of symptoms. It seemed that I was visiting so many different doctors to address the various symptoms. A nutritionist recommend that I see Dr. Cooke as a functional practitioner. Dr. Cooke did a deep dive to discover what could be the cause of my symptoms rather than treating each one individually. I had great success and started to make some strides in the right direction. Then we decided to try UVBI (Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation). This made such a huge difference very quickly. after 3 treatments even the people around me noticed that I seemed so much better. some of my more persistent symptoms disappeared and I am feeling like a normal person again.

I went to Dr Cooke 19 years ago when I turned 35 and decided I wanted to quit smoking. I googled Dr’s that perform hypnosis to help you quit and Dr Cooke’s name appeared. Not only did she do hypnosis but she did Accupunture with the hypnosis which just bettered your chances to quit. I was a pack a day smoker, plus. I tried several times on my own. I never thought this would work but thought I would give it a try. Well, 14 years later and I’m still smoke free thanks to Dr Cooke’s Accupunture and Hypnoisis session. And boy am I lucky because at the time I had contracted a weird virus from a mosquito bite in Brazil - and day by day i was losing cognitive and physical abilities along with inexplicable chest pains. I have been seeing Dr. Cooke for a year now for a Lyme-related chronic illness. Besides being a brilliant MD, Dr. Cooke is kind, caring and very intuitive. Dr. Cooke has been an absolute godsend for our family. She was first recommended to me as a Lyme specialist because I suspected my daughter might have it--she had odd symptoms and our MD was not helpful. The doctor easily located two other issues (not Lyme) that my daughter had and she's much better. My husband and I and our other daughter have now all seen her and we've recommended her to friends. Dr. Cooke is the most thorough doctor I've ever met--she combines medical expertise with "alternative" therapies and supplements and she really looks at the whole person. My daughter described her as a detective in the way she gathers enormous information about every aspect of your health (she takes much more time talking with you than other doctors), then looks for solutions. We are big fans of Dr. Cooke and highly recommend her!

I give Dr. Cooke 3 stars. I think that she is a good physician, however I didn't like the fact that she was trying to convince me that other Lyme specialists charge more for the visits, which made me look up the prices and realize that her prices are pretty much the same as other physicians. Dr. Cooke took time to ask questions and discuss possible diagnosis but I never received actual diagnosis, just assumption. Note that this doctor avoids antibiotics and treats naturally(which I liked) and this is something that You want to take in consideration if You expect quick results. Visits are very pricey.
