I saw Dr. Lamb on Oct. 13. I'd seen her about 3 times prior to this date and I found myself really liking her - her intelligence, her warmth, her professionalism, her caring. I wasn't even scheduled for an appointment on my Oct. 13 walk-in but one of the urgent care doctors looked at the thing on my leg and brought Dr. Lamb in to see me. She immediately said the lesion needed a biopsy to confirm her suspicions - a small skin cancer. Within 2 days she had the results and also she sent my chart over to Dr. Hooman Khorasani, an eminent skin surgeon, for an appointment. On Nov. 7 I had the lesion removed, the wound dressed, was given instructions for wound care and a follow-up appointment with the surgeon. All of this took place within the Mount Sinai Health System. Dr. Lamb is one terrific physician. To quote a nurse who told me privately: "She's awesome." Indeed she is - and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful - truly awesome - doctor like Dr. Angela Lamb.
