One day I was passing by the facility full of Dr.'s. saw a list of dermatologists, i was in heaven first they took my insurance for my daughter. She is suffering with acne. So I made the appointment with PA. Effie Rabinowitz. The first day that we meet we automatically connected, she knew exactly what treatment was needed to help my daughter with her acne. Since day one and now 2 years later follow up and any type of treatment whether it was for acne or other dermatology issue shes always helped find the solution. The staff is great with working around patients schedule never waited too long to be seen either. Thank you very much Effie for your on going expertise. Your amazing.

I never given a bad review. I had an emergency and I called the office more than 5 times. I spoke with the medical assistant and she told me that my doctor or the nurse will call me back in 30min. They never called me back. That is unprofessional. I had to visit another dermatologist to take care of me.

I have had 2 other dermatologists in New York. Both were good but Dr Parris' Clinic is by far the best. This is why I felt compelled to write. I have no insurance and as soon as I had mentioned this I felt that I was treated like a first class VIP. My visit was way less expensive than my previous NY Dermatologists. I found the receptionists to be helpful and pleasant- rare in this business! My wait was short. Dr Parris was very easy to understand and he really informed me well on my problem. Since going, my Eczema (5 years) has almost completely disappeared and 2 warts... syanara bubba. Top shelf. I am glad I went there.

I have seen Dr. Parris about 4 times in the past 4 years and he wows me every time. After experiencing an extreme case of adult acne suddenly at 21, Dr. Parris put me on a regimen and antibiotics that not only cured me but kept it from returning ever again without the need for prescriptions. I am always shocked at how quickly he can diagnose and correctly cure a skin problem.

this Clinic is AWSOME the DR, the medical assistants the front desk girl OMG i only have been going there for almost 1.5 month my psoriasis started disappearing already..you go there and they work so fast in 5 minutes you are out.. I never waited too long...and it always feels like I go to meet family members they are so friendly and sweet .. I don't like doctors and clinics cause usually they only care about the money , these ladies deserve it and I mean it 100% .. just visit them one time and you will understand what i mean ... perfect and professional. I'm so glad that i.found this DR... the previews one I had would not even look at me or explain to me and I was nervous and didn't want that person to treat me with laser i was so afraid... this DR here she explains everything makes people feel comfortable and gives also information about the problem you have and what does the laser do ... once again I am so glad.. I wish all the Doctors were as kind and professional as her God Bless <3

I started going to this practice several years ago. I am always happy with their work. I’ve had different visits like routine check up and evaluations and more cosmetic work. I am a huge fan of Dr Goldburt specifically but all of the doctors have been medically wonderful as well as a pleasant bedside manner. Dr Goldburt is just beautiful inside and out. She is smart and professional. I am very fortunate to have found this office. The nurse who is there on Tuesdays is always professional, calm and charming. Big fan of hers.

Great experience, location really local around train station so really accommodating. Staff really welcoming, even only had a copy of insurance card on phone and office manager Jennifer was kind enough to allow me to just email it to her and print it out. Dr.wong was super sweet and even gave me a coupon for my medication. Great atmosphere, an absolute must!! Thanks everyone!!

For years I have suffered from a facial skin condition that Doctor after Doctor offered the same treatments and medication without much success. Not Any More!!! I want to thank Doctor John Troccoli, for listening to me and offering a new regimen that has really had some great affects on my skin. The office is nice as well as the staff. I waited about 30min or so as you would in any doctors office. I came in for a chemical peel. Jennifer Wong was very attentative she kept asking if I was okay making sure I was in no way uncomfortable. After the chemical peel was done I felt like I was getting a mini facial massage by....I believe her name was Marilyn (the medical assistant) which was super nice. I paid $150 which I think was totally worth it! I will definitely be going back again! Update: 5/16/2018 Came in for a second visit this time with my son. Jenn Wong was not available so the front desk made me an appointment for Dr. Troccoli. He came in introduced himself shook my sons hand. My son came in for some acne and dandruff problems. Dr. Troccoli was very thorough checked my sons scalp and his face prescribed some medications and explained to him on how to use them. I like this office a lot, the girls are really nice and friendly and the doctors are great too and I’ve seen two of them here already. Like I said before and I’ll say again I will definitely be coming back here again!

Made an appointment a week before. Received a confirmation email. Travelled 2 hours ( fr. NJ) to get to the clinic by 9:20 am, even took a taxi from Steinway Station just to be there earlier, only to be told my name is not in the system...period! After telling the counter lady my story she said that I can MAYBE accommodated by 12:00 noon. A two and a half hour wait for a MAYBE chance! I left.

Yes, by all means, I recommend to all pacients to trust Advanced Dermatology and their highly educated doctors and nurses.Since the skin of us is the largest organ of humans, we have to take good care of it and to avoid any postpone like I did. Dr. Jennifer Wong is such a determinated dermatologist expert that she's holding her nurses and aids line high enough to make you feel one or two decades younger! So I owe her all my respect and consideration for the treatment I benefit until now and my love for what I'm about to receive for my health.The only failure came from the insurance side when I was cut short from ciclopirox topical solution 8% and got some soupy substitute.I have to reinvent the wheel [of Fortune] to buy from other country. I had a problem with my insurance express scripts meds and they went above and beyond to help me to resolve the problem, the girls were in the phone for tedious and long calls couple of times with the insurance patiently, profesional, nice and never made me feel uncomfortable , finally we were able to resolve it. I had a 3.30 appointment with Meryl Joerg MD. Arrived on time and filled out all the relevant documents including one that stated that if I was late for an appointment I would be billed $25 late fee and if late or missed a surgical procedure I would be billed $100.00. I add to this document that if the doctor was late by more that 30 minutes would get a credit for $100 because my time was just as valuable as the doctors. Finally after 45 minutes of waiting and asking what the delay was and not getting a response other than an apology with the receptionist repeating "I don't know what the reason for the delay is" I voted with my feet and walked out. Based on what I am reading on Yelp and other websites this lack of respect for patients appears to be common problem with this practice. Fortunately I live in New York and have many physicians to choose from so I will not be going back to her and will find another more professional dermatologist for my needs.

I don't know what to think in all honesty. The staff is friendly but...I still can't get over how unprofessional it is to LOSE my skin sample. WHERE did it go? WHOSE name is it under? WHY was it lost? How do you just lose someone's "skin"? Very gross...and very unprofessional. I also noticed nobody ever wears gloves which is kind of frightening considering their touching all kinds of skin from all kinds of people. However, seeing Dr. Troccoli, my hand has gotten better and he does listen to my issues and is pretty attentive to what I say, photos I show him, and anecdotes I tell him. However, he does mumble to himself more than talk to you directly but it doesn't bother me, its just his personality. He also kind of rushes unless you interrupt to add details or questions before he runs out of the room. I do feel like he cares, just don't think I can trust staff with samples now. Also, despite my follow up being on dry/scaly skin on my hand, they asked me to fill out a paper for BOTOX, just IN CASE I wanted to get some in the future for sweating (cause I said I was sweating even though its been humid these days...really?). I will NOT be following up on that, and it worries me that they might be trying to get people into using or getting BOTOX. I also had to wait about 2 hours for my first visit but didn't even wait 5 mins for my follow-up, however, it was at the Central Park location so that may be why. In summary, I don't know how to feel, so I gave 3 stars (-1 for lost skin sample, -1 for BOTOX attempt, and +3 for Troccoli's attention and help) which I think is neutral.
