REVIEW IS FOR MidTown LaserTouch Aesthetics 57 West 57th Street, 8th Floor Suite 809 Terrible experience left with horrible dark hyper pigmentation DARK MARKS. I went here after reading the great reviews. My Technician was Marve who gave me treatment on my legs which originally were light marks just tiny indents that were white matching my complexion. She did a fraxel treatment that was very painful feeling like a burning into my skin until my tears came out hurts very very bad. I was given a price off 800$ charged an additional hundred eighty eight then what I was told after. I was sold an aftercare product for extra 400 bucks that I later found selling at a high-end website for skin for 50$. When I left i was in excruciating pain the marks were red and blistering. I was told it would be better in six weeks later come back for a follow up. When I returned there was no Marve to be found the technician who gave me the price and fraxel. I was told she quit after years. I was then appointed another tech who had purple grey hair an accent and a botched nose job. She did not understand anything I explained, she would not let me put on a shorts instead had me pull my pants down in a thong underwear, She was unfocused at that point creepy had zero knowledge. She kept recommending a product with hydroquinone which cause more hyper pigmentation Permanent skin marks I said over and over I cannot use that. Upon leaving I was charged another 400$ for again a product that can find online for 50$. I since called over five times left messages for a manager or owner to call me back with no answer. I'm currently going to a dermatologist invested more money to correct my skin discoloration caused by them. If someone will let someone spoil there nose in the middle of there face. Why should i trust them with my body. The place was also dirty had sand construction going on both times visited. I have spend a lot of time and money wasted there. There not aware how to treat scars stretch marks acne of any kind. Don't go here!!!

The staff and the doctor could not be nicer or more helpful. I asked to come in right away without an appointment because of a time sensitive issue and they were all so accommodating. The doctor also seems very knowledgeable and genuinely caring.

One of the worst billing experiences I have ever had anywhere. Actually sent me to collection for a $50 bill because my credit card on file had expired. A courtesy call would have been nice. When I pursued the matter with the office and asked to speak with someone with authority, both the Doctor and PA actually refused to speak with me. I have seen other similar reviews if this nature on Zocdoc as well.

Their billing process is out of control. Apparently the claim was re-processed 6 months after visit for over 800 patients and there was a small amount. Nobody from the Doctors office calls to inform and was not aware as emails went to Spam! To say that every effort was made to contact is simply untrue; no one from the doctors office tried to call ever. And when I called, they rudely say they "don't do billing" and gave a number to call. When I called this number, they said they don't have time to call "thousands of people".

First appointment today. Paid the $15 co-pay. No shenanigans. No upselling. My case is complicated but Carrie Doolan did not make me feel like a sideshow freak. She'll try to help but of course, there will not be dramatic results overnight. She was very thorough and truly appeared to empathize. All history was discussed. Lilly was very kind and welcomed questions. The receptionist was professional and polight. I don't do reviews unless I must catch a criminal or give praise and recommendations, as in this case (the latter). Topical creams do not resolve skin issues like mine, as per the patient education section on the website. I've been a mask- wearing recluse for 5 years and have decided to search for plastic surgeons for dramatic improvement. Still, I highly recommend 57 West Dermatology and deduce they're knowledgeable and professional.

A lot of money and time wasted here. Unreliable receptionists, always misinformed about products. Given no importance to being a client of 3 years. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. Very mean and unreliable.

I had a word with the doctor regarding the below feedback and they are trying to resolve the issue - Hence giving them a few more stars. The process for billing still has scope for improvement though. Older review: Not recommended at all and these guys try to remove genuine feedback on Google to maintain their 5 star rating which is highly dishonest! Their billing team tries to rip patients and the person at the front desk is highly clueless about the insurance/billing process. They charged me extra money despite being paid by my insurance provider. Their doctor is good, but their billing team sucks!

This is a technophile's office! Everything is a breeze, and the wait times are minimal. I think I had more time with the physician, who was excellent in practice and very kind, than I had to wait.
