I have been going to Dr. Peisajovich for nearly 3 years and have been absolutely happy with his care and the efficiency and friendliness of his staff. The Dr. always answers all of my questions thoughtfully and sincerely. He gave me my initial diagnosis and has treated me successfully. During each visit he gives me the time I need and always reviews my lab results and progress thoroughly. My quality of life has significantly improved under his care. I highly recommend this office. It is important that you show up for your scheduled appointments on time.

I was referred to Sandia Rheumatologist by my primary doctor. My recommendation is to stay far away from this but case. He will cause serious harm. This doctor took away my medication and told me I did not have Arthritis. I was only coming to him because I moved and needed to continue my meds. He refused to give them to me. It took me months to see another Rheumatologist, but when i did i was told to never come back here. Please! If you value your health stay away from this doctor.

I felt he was more interested in my Copay amount than my problems. Once all the serious diseases were ruled out, he gave a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, said I looked healthy and sent me on my way. Not the kind of care I was looking for.

Finally a specialist who truly cares about his patients.... Very through and this doctor actually listens to your concerns. He was very patient with me and actually was very compassionate. The office is run very efficiently. Very Thorough from the phone call to seeing the doctor and a follow-up appointment. Very clean office. All very professional. If you're looking for a specialist who doesn't miss a Beat..old school values. Someone who follows through... and you're not a number in this office. The Dr. never rushed me and was very patient.. this is the proper office the way doctors should be treating patients. I can't thank you enough Dr. Peisajovich.

Dr. Pesajovich is a genuinely compassionate man and I feel I am getting competent care for my RA. In my experience, the waiting times are quite brief, a plus since I have to travel 2 hours for each appointment. The staff is friendly and helpful. He is particularly patient with addressing my expressed concerns and questions. My condition has improved under his care. My sole concern is my sense that he may be a bit conservative in his theraputic decisions, a potential downside for patients with complex or difficult cases.

I've been a patient of Dr. Peisajovich for 7 years now and I have not had any bad experiences with him at all. Those of you that are complaining about his staff, his older staff has been replaced and the new staff is amazing, efficient and very cordial. They get stuff done quick and are very responsive when it comes to our needs. Dr. Peisajovich is a very carrying, compassionate, committed and has empathy for his patients, and takes his time with each patient. He is an outstanding Dr. he has helped me. I went in there barely walking in severe pain and now I walk trails and have minimal pain. My RA has gone into remission. He is a very busy doctor but his wait times are not to the extremes some of you all are stating. As for him being money hungry, some of you have to take into consideration that he has a practice to run and If you keep your 24 hour notice, like you agreed to there is no additional charge. Most payments are based off of Insurance copay and deductibles, which are decided by the insurance company not Dr. Peisajovich, he does not charge just because. That appointment slot that you decide not to take last minute, could've been given to another patient that needed to be seen. I truly believe he should be recognized for one of the best doctors in Albuquerque.

Staff and doctor are both inviting and courteous. Dr. Peisajovich knows his stuff. He told me "we have to believe the patients and not the [lab] tests" and that made me comfortable that he validated and believed my symptoms. So amazing to have a doctor say that and work with you for treatment.

After being sent from specialist to specialist, I ended up at Sandia Rheumatologist. This is the best thing that could have happened to me. The Dr. Is very professional and listens to concerns. The staff is awesome. Definitely recommend.

The most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. He hollered across his office about my labs to his nurse that he did not order correctly. Ridiculous wait times 1.5+ hours just to get in an exam room when not one other patient was in the building. Very money hungry I went to numerous appointments without him order the appropriate tests and labs all for the doctor to ask me to come back in two weeks. Whatever he could do to charge your insurance and that copay. Update: I recently moved out of state and found a new rheumatologist, and was absolutely disgusted to find out that Dr. P only thought I had fibromyalgia with a slight rheumatoid factor. Clearly, this physician was not ordering the correct labs. My new doctor ran new labs and BAM! I have 3 rheumatoid diseases clear as day with my labs and exam. Not to mention sickening symptoms. This doctor needs to run appropriate labs and do ethnicity based labs to really uncover all rheumatoid diseases possible in that specific person instead of half way treating a patient. Especially, since Dr. P is one of the few rheumatologists in Albuquerque.

I have been with Dr. Peisajovich for over 8 years now and I can honestly say that he is the best thing to ever happen to me concerning my Lupus. He is beyond amazing and caring. He always helps me and is so patient and kind. I couldn't imagine facing my disease without him. I would recommend this amazing doctor to anyone. He was born to be a doctor, this is his calling. If you want a doctor who truly cares about his patients and their health, Dr. Peisajovich is your man. His office is always efficiently ran and they always take care of everything I need in a timely manner! Thank you so much for everything you've always done for me!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. When he walked into the room he told me he could tell what was wrong " Just by looking at me!" Wow, never mind those pesky medical tests and looking at my medical history! What doctor doesn't care about these things and just comes up with a snap diagnosis -- based on not even talking to the patient? I don't recommend him but I do recommend Dr. Dean, she is at another practice in town. Go see a professional not a person who uses " psychic diagnosis"....

My mother in the care of this Dr. and is treated well. He is attentive and conservative. His staff is wonderful. While her case is Textbook, I feel secure potential complications will be met successfully if her present remission be challenged.

Beware, Dr. Peisajovich is very money hungry. My wife has been very faithful in going to her appointments and we have very good insurance, but today we had an unforeseeable circumstance come up and had to cancel and said our reason wasn't good enough to cancel so he charged us 50 dollars to cancel. Our water had an emergency shut off at our apartment complex to change the water meter and we couldn't even brush our teeth or take showers. Just plain money hungry. Oh the doctor was always 1 to 2 hours late.

Place is awful, my appointment was for 2pm haven't seen a doctor for an hour now. They are charging a ton of money for making someone wait for hours. It took 45 minutes for a nurse to show up and all she did was ask me a bunch of annoying questions that do not have anything to do with the reason I came in for. Refused to prescribe low dose naltrexone or any pain meds but offered much worse medications that haven't been working for me for over 2 years. Avoid this place and find a better one.

Dr. P and his staff are amazing. I had such a great experience with him. He has the perfect mixture of professionalism and caring personality. He was specific with his diagnosis but completely open to my questions and concerns as though he was a close friend. I felt completely safe and knew he was listening. I highly recommend him.
