Doctor Candelaria removed a cracked tooth for me a year ago. The nurses and office staff were very kind and friendly. (they knew I was scared to death). As they were again last month when I decided to have Dr. Candelaria do an implant for the tooth I had lost. He took his time and answered all of my questions both at the initial appointment and the followup. Thank you OMSA!

Worst Experience Ever! I was referred to them by my dentist and I called my dentist to let them know please do not ever send anyone over there! I seen Jeff Hagen and he had no compassion what so ever. You can hear him outside my door telling the MA "Why do I have to see her if she is already being seen by someone" He had nothing to say but keep doing what your dentist said, what a waste of a copay!!

Dr. Candelaria is my son's oral surgeon and I trust him completely. So when I needed oral surgery I chose him. He and his team have so much experience in what they do. I have been very pleased with my results. I recommend him completely without reservation. He has a great bedside manner and explained everything to me and took his time. He does great superior work. I have only had positive experience with OMSA.

While waiting for a relative to have a procedure here, I observed the staff being sassy with someone who was early for an appointment, only to take them back late, and the prevented a mother from being w her daughter during a procedure. I generally expect customers to be treated with compassion at medical offices and I did not oversee that here.

On the wall it states as follows " OMSA-committed to honest, compassionate, and dedicated care to our patients" Unfortunately, the staff shows none of that. We were greeted and helped by a very rude and impatient woman. First impressions, this lady needs to find another job, maybe something that doesn't work with people.

I had two wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Jeff Hagen. I did not "love it", but in comparison to the two I had removed last year, it was almost pleasurable. Dr. Hagen answered all relevant questions almost before I could ask them both prior to the operation and on my follow up visit. The surgery was done under IV sedation, and although one of the teeth was impacted, I was off of ibuprofen by day 3 the pain in my mouth was so minimal (did not use narcs). The OMSA office functions professionally and efficiently. The secretarial staff was patient, helpful and knowledgeable even when I presented a billing situation they were not familiar with. This experience was as good as someone cutting teeth out of your mouth could be. Highly recommend Dr. Hagen and the team at OMSA

Dr. Candelaria was very patient and thorough in explaining the procedure and showing with x-rays what would be done. He is an absolute professional and I would not go to anyone else if I am ever in need of this type of work again.

The doctors are nice but the staff can be kind of rude and the techs also. It was a fine experience and they did a great job though. Just don't expect the kindest treatment from all of them.

Dr. Lionel Candelaria used intravenous sedation to remove a wisdom tooth. Dr. Candelaria is a step up from most dentists. He is not in a hurry. He spend considerable time listening to my concerns. Most dentist usually lack people skills and rely on their abilities. This was not the case here. This doctor is smarter than his peers and understands the doctor-patient relationship. Also, he found a rare nerve problem that I have. I told him that I have been trying to tell dentists for thirty years that my nerves are different. All previous dentists dismissed me. This discovery by Dr. Candelaria not only sealed the deal, but showed his skill compared to others. His staff appeared well trained and prepped me for oral surgery as if I was their one millionth patient. After waking up, I experienced no pain, and no memory of the surgery. I recovered from the anesthesia surprisingly fast. When the anesthesia wore off, I had to look in a mirror because it did not even feel like I went to the dentist. Very happy with Dr. Candelaria. I now have a permanent oral surgeon.

I've never had any type of surgery before so this was a bit different from anything I'm used to. Had 4 wisdom teeth removed and it was a very smooth and professional experience. They explained everything before, during and after. I I have noting to compare it to, but it was a pretty smooth experience.

Dr. Mitchell (not my doctor) was absolutely abrasive and of ZERO help. His partner was not answering his phone (which is fine) so he called me instead. Not even 10 hours after my surgery I was in pain. His exact words were ‘I don’t know you and I cannot call in a narcotic’. During the conversation I had never asked him or my primary doctor for a narcotic, don’t have a past history of using narcotics and DID NOT ASK HIM FOR NARCOTOCS. I am sitting Here in pain and in tears looking for answers and suggestions and Dr. Mitchell got on the phone pointing fingers and belittling me as a human after a life changing accident and shortly after a major surgery 10’hours previously to fix it. I am now embarrassed, sad and still am in extream pain with no answers. He then said ‘well, surgery is painful, use an ice pack’! He was condescending and cruel and abruptly hung up one me (which I was perfectly okay with because of how the conversation with). I have been a HUGE advocate for this practice but I am absolutely broken right now AND STILL IN PAIN. ITS 11:00pm and can’t sleep due to pulsating, swelling and Dr. Mitchell was short with me, accusatory and rude! Don’t go to him.

This oral surgery office is an absurd place. I would highly advise any person in need of any work to find a DIFFERENT office. My appt. was rescheduled twice. dr mitchell is the one that did it and he was not attentive to different questions I had and was talking to me like my concerns were not important. I was very afraid of going through with the procedure and the way he talked to me did not make me feel any better. The only reason why I didn't find a different doctor was because I just graduated and was already rescheduled when I was anticipating my important career start date that I had to get the surgery over with. Then after the surgery my follow-up appt. was not with dr.mitchell it was with dr. candelaria! He was discourteous, inconsiderate, and could not have been the fastest appt. in my life. I was literally seen for 2 minutes! 2!!! When he and the tech girl came in he introduced himself and i asked for her name she answered and then he said, "And there is more like her in the office but yes shell be with us for the appt." Then as he barely looked in my mouth I started to ask questions about notes dr.mitchell might have wrote down and other concerns I had and he was literally facing away inching his feet farther and farther away from me and towards the door. I said, "You can leave if your busy today and have other things going that are more important." Four teeth needed to be pulled out and this is the experience I got for ALL THE MONEY i PAID. It was the most repulsive and horrendous experience. Please avoid them at all costs if you want to be treated with respect and care. I can not write enough about how awful the experience has left me. They should be ashamed of the way they treat people.

My Nana, Betty Gutierrez, went here to get a tooth implant by Dr. Candelaria and she couldn’t be happier with the results! She said the facility was great, the staff was very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything and make her comfortable. They are the best! Dr Candelaria and the staff at OMSA are professional, compassionate, gentle and kind! From their preparation prior to surgery, performing a procedure, to the final appointment their care is comprehensive and provides for questions and support. I found everyone there worked toward communication, information and to encourage being at ease. I’ve had multiple oral surgeries, and felt most confident in the treatment by Dr Candelaria.

I recently had no less than five teeth removed by Dr. Hagen, and it was virtually painless experience. The IV was probably the worst part, and it went in with no trouble and worked immediately. Unfortunately, while the first few days afterwards were fine, I began to experience some unusual swelling and pain on the side where they removed a wisdom tooth. When I called to ask if this was normal, not only did they know immediately whether or not it was without any fuss or issue, I was able to be seen within the hour by a doctor, who treated me and got me out of there in about half an hour, tops. It's phenomenal service. I couldn't recommend this place more.
