Ive been a patient here for years and Dr.Ivey is the best that I've seen. His staff are also friendly, and knowledgeable. I was denied surgery three times and Dr.Ivey fought for me through peer to peer discussions more than once. Instead of just caving in and saying he can't do anything he didn't, I finally had my surgery and all my tendons were fixed up. Thats the kind of morals he has, he will fight for his patients.

I've been a patient of Dr Ivey for years. He is incredible, every surgery I have had with Dr Ivey reassures me everything will be alright & we come up with a solution. Toe fungus evident on several toes for approximately 30 years were cured with periodic, in-office laser treatments over about 15 months and daily topical applications of anti-fungal cream and Clarus brand anti-fungal liquid. This treatment, in conjunction with a daily oral Lamisil generic drug for 90-days, proved effective with no side effects. Various OTC topical applications and foot soaks tried before seeking treatment at New Mexico Foot & Ankle Institute were a waste of time and money, and in-effective. I would highly recommend New Mexico Foot & Ankle Institute for anyone with toe fungus based on my experience of the professional care and successful results

Dr. Ivey is absolutely the best! He knows exactly what he's doing, he keeps updating his repertoire. I trust him so completely that I've brought 2 of my children to him when they needed a podiatrist. Been with him for 15 years. Unlike many doctors he actually listens to the patient. Bravo Dr Ivey! Thank you for being such an amazing Doc and person. Not to forget the nurses and techs who are very helpful and kind. Very sweet ladies! Best and only place to go. And believe me I have known many doctors, I am a Veteran and have seen my share all over the world. None can hold a candle to Dr Ivey!

Lobby staff were rude and unhelpful. Doors were not opened at the advertised business hours . dr. And nurse were kind ,understanding and helpful. Would refer /attend again ..reluctantly

md. ivy is the best he is funny and knows what he is doing. he first tried to save my toe from a infection on a diabetic patent .when he was unable to save it do to a infection at the bone,he removed with a very clean and nice closer .i would send any one i know to him for any thing to do with a foot or a ankle alex

I'm astonished at the high marks this place has received. My experience has been HORRIBLE! I first visited in April having had terrible foot pain for six months. After a cursory glance at my xrays, the doctor determined that I needed to see a neurologist and said that he would set up an appointment for me and call me shortly. He also recommended that I come back in a month. When I returned he appeared baffled at my visit and again said I would hear from them soon regarding an appointment with a neurologist. I waited a month and started calling the office to follow up. I was told I would be called back but never was. After several months I was told that a fax needed to be sent to the neurologist and someone would call me back. Again no one called. Finally, two days ago, I called again and apparently managed to luck out and the ONE person that can SEND A FAX was the one that answered the phone! She took my information and apparently sent the fax to the neurologist. Now I have an appointment with a neurologist IN JANUARY! Had they sent the fax in April as they promised, I would probably be seeing a neurologist now and be on my way to recovery. Instead, I'm in excruciating pain with little relief in site. This is a TERRIBLE business! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Dr. Ivey and his staff are the BEST in ABQ. I suffered with my foot for over two years with a previous Dr. who did absolutely nothing for me and in the long run made my foot worse as I blew out the pereonial (sp?) tendon. Dr. Ivey repaired my foot and knew exactly what the issue was before seeing the MRI. This past fall I had the same issue in my opposite foot, so once again I went to Dr. Ivey who for one really listened and although the only answer was surgery he was very good at explaining the issue and why surgery was needed. Dr. Ivey is the BEST foot doctor I have found and will take any issues to him that I have. His staff is awesome too...very friendly and courteous.
