REVIEWS OF MountainView Regional Medical Center IN New Mexico

To the nurse named Doug or Douglas, how about you learn some manners and learn to treat the elderly with respect. Worst hospital I have ever set my foot in!! I hope management reads these reviews and is willing to teach their staff how to be real nurses and how to treat their patients!! Don't waste your time here, go to a real hospital!!

Christine Prichard

If I could give zero stars to this unethical business I would. My son had an ear infection and a 5 minute visit to a physicians assistant at a doc in the box somehow mysteriously related to this hospital netted me a $400 bill. Why you ask? I had the audacity to believe the front desk when they said they would take my insurance. But lo and behold they didn't. Had they accurately told me that my insurance wasnt accepted BEFORE the fact, I would have happily driven to Mexico where they don't gouge consumers. Any other business would EAT their mistake after misleading a client. Somehow the Hippocratic oath doesn't seem to apply. Disgusted. #singlepayornow

My friend had a horrible miscarriage in the second trimester. She lost a lot of blood. We came into the ER, and she was crying and scared. The nurse literally said, "I've had a miscarriage, and I wasn't behaving as badly as you are." They were rude and completely lacked compassion. When she got to OB, they said she nearly died from blood loss. She needed several blood transfusions. But yeah, the ER nurse said she was "overreacting." A year later, she went back to the ER because she had some abdominal pain. They ran standard labs and then took her for an ultrasound (she assumed for her cyst). The technician asked "so, which pregnancy is this?" She was confused. The tech asked, "didn't the doctor tell you that you are pregnant?!" The doctor neglected to mention that minor detail. Yeah, she's going to Memorial from now on. They lack compassion, basic human respect, and are the most incompetent bunch of "doctors" and "nurses" I have ever encountered. Cracker Jack had quite the business when they issued medical and nursing degrees to the Mountain View staff.

Most excellent hospital! Docs, nurses, techs, and all other staff were wonderful... I was at Mt. View for 10 days and I was completely amazed at the great care and kindness shown to me and my family. Nobody's perfect, but these folks did their absolute best to take care of me. As I write this, I'm sitting in another local hospital with a family member and we're considering leaving this other hospital ( due to the poor care) and going to Mountain View. My experience at Mt. View was great. I really can't say enough good things about Mt. View.

I took my daughter to the Mountain View Prompt care clinic on Northrise in Las Cruces NM. They filed the insurance wrong, and refused to fix it despite three attempts to straighten out the problem. Now we owe the total bill, and have a collection agency after us. If you have insurance, don't go to this clinic because they refuse to itemize charges for insurance, and because of that you will have to pay in full.

Eric Bachuzewski

This review is for their finance department. BEWARE when receiving services at any Mountain View location, OTHER THAN the hospital itself. The reason being, their finance department takes the absolute longest time to send a bill for services. The only time that they send you a bill, MONTHS later, is from the collection agency that they submit to. This has happened on 3 separate occasions in my experience. One example is services are received at the end of February. I called their office because we were expecting a bill a few months after and were told the bill is about to be generated. When we receive the bill (in AUGUST), it's from the collection agency. Another example is services received July 30, just received bill on 12/08/2018. This place WILL LIE directly to your face about sending bills to cover-up for their incompetence. The truth is they send bills to collections BEFORE even attempting to send bills on their own.

Their was a lot of rude staff in the baby department the delivery side had 2 really good nurses and once we got switched over to post pordon side the were straight up rude never really checked on us to much never up dating the board to keep other nurses on track what needs to be done not coming in on shift change to talk to you or update what's going on and that you have a new nurse their was a lot of stuff wrong with our room bathroom door woukd not work reading light didn't work the call button and remote did not work we just had a horrible experience

Crystal Baca

This place is horrible.

Everytime i go to this hospital i wait for 1 hour or 2 hours. I thought this is normal. But last time i took my baby to the hospital to test her blood for joundince (yellow skin incase if i wrote it wrong) i was waiting for one hour and no one came to take her blood. They told me sorry we forgot to call the lab !!!! I said it is ok then i waited for 30 minutes more. Then i told them i dont have to wait this long time for just taking a blood for my baby. They told me you are not the only patient her you have to respect the others. The put it on me at the end. I found out that in usa the Police officers, nurses and doctors never be wrong :) even if they make any mistake

Gabriela Reyes

Don't blame me for the incompetence of your employees. They hid the price of my procedure and kept saying "it was verified" "it says right here" No. I expected to pay a copay of course but, wow. Do yourself a favor and ask and "verify" prices for yourself. These employees clearly don't care whether you can pay or not, whether you need a precedure/treatment. At least they were able to give me a payment plan. How nice.

Been here in the waiting room 3 hours with chest pains trouble breathing thank god this is not an emergency. Sarcasm applies here. Last time I was here I was registered under someone else's name and nobody knew who's fault that was. So I was treated for someone else's illness and had I not started to question the situation and happen to look down at my id bracelet I would have never known. So if I die here tonight waiting in the waiting room you all know who's responsible.

Tim Hewitt

Had a procedure done last month. Excellent staff-attentive and informative. The IV nurse did a great job inserting my iv. Physician anesthesiologist was great, explained the medication and potential problems, and solutions if the problems arose. Procedure went well, discharged in great shape. I would not hesitate to use Mountainview at any time for any problem.

flor reyes

waiting for lab results going on 3 hour

Tami Wahl

Absolutely please! Top notch service. Very well planned out and everyone did exactly what they said they would do. Best service ever!

joan spik

Went in on ambulance, had excellent care all the time. We thank you, nurses, staff. Couldn't have had better care

Debi Dietel

I have been admitted to mountain view on 3 different occasions. With last night being the third. Both of my other stays were hands down very good. Treated well by nurses and CNA's but as of now still admitted I have had the worst care ever at any hospital I have ever been to. Male Nurse by the name is Isaiah find a different career. You have no bed side manner nor do you show concern for your patients.seems like to me he had more time to play with the young CNAs then do his freaking job. Also when a patient asks for something to drink or ice you should probably get the patient what they need not just ignore the request. Sad I always thought highly of this establishment. Not any longer I will just go to Memorial.

Freida Hall

Very rude and unprofessional. The intake nurse was arrogant and very uncaring. I told her my five year old granddaughter fell and was knocked unconscious and had a seizure before she awoke and EMT's on scene suspected a brain bleed and to get her treated immediately. A three hour wait in ER for a five year old with severe head trauma!! Finally when we got called back for assessment, the nurse there could not believe how long we waited and said she should have been seen right away. She went and got the doctor immediately. Very dissapointed!

Joan Piwowar

I was brought in 2-20-18 via ambulance for extreme pain on right side, lower rib area. Also trouble breathing due to bronchitis and the pain which greatly exacerbated the problem. My complaint is primarily with the ER department nurses. When I arrived it was still the night shift and those nurses were great. But once the day shift arrived and the new nurse came in it went downhill. This woman, had an attitude from the get-go and didn't seem to know or care that I was in great pain and could barely breath-evidenced by my inability to speak much above a whisper. The pain meds wore off after an hour or less and I would press the call button where you could specify the reason such as "pain" "toilet" , for pain over and over, eventually calling out for help in a weak voice with no one coming to help for what seemed like an hour-and this went on several times during the 12 hours I was in ER. When the nurse finally came in I was irritated, OBVIOUSLY AND JUSTIFIABLY, and instead of apology and understanding, I am reprimanded for being impatient and that I need to remember they are people too. Excuse me? I was the one being treated like an animal, made to wallow in pain and shallow breathing, ignored for an hour several times! And she is offended because of the tone of my complaint? I hope they did receive my written account of this experience. Their attitude is inexcusable.

We werr there for 3 weeks and th e staff was good. Administration needs to let the staff do their jobs and not shuffle patients. Wr were in 1 room fir 4 days then moved to the next hall for the remainder of the 3 weeks. Sucky room accommodations for those of us that had to stay. Lee and Caroline on the med/surg floor were outstanding. Administration came in to see if we were having any issues we had friends visiting. They wanted input at that time...wrong time to do that. Pock your times and places for that. My husband had 2 dpinal surgeries and a feeding tube shortly before.

Edward Peru

This place is the slums of hospitality. Long story short my wife was in there recently. They had some unsupervised trainee wannabe nurse. Tell us the doctor said he doesn't need your blood but I'll take it anyway. So we figured it would be quick and painless as usual. This girl misses twice my wife screaming after the first time. My wife tells her to stop and get someone else. The trash woman tells us no and tries a third time. And I have to get loud to get my point across. Then the trash of a woman starts giving me dirty looks. Then a professional comes in a blonde woman and does it perfect and painless first try in my wife's other arm. Long story short I called the medical board and filed a complaint were shooting to sue them. I tried to do a complaint over the phone whoever is the. Person In charged for that does not care obviously. The medical board also gave us 4 other way to file complaints on record for our attorney in court. No person in training there at all should be unsupervised with a patient. No wonder the place has a trash review record. They removed me and my wife for asking for the name of the girl for our complaint. A PA named Jeremy Milligan was extremely rude telling us that we don't need to file a complaint that it's already done and over with to just forget it. Then proceeded to call my wife the word for female dog.

April Dean

My son was in an emergency situation and everyone who was there helped us through...went above and beyond for our care!!!

Samantha Fairbanks

Always have had good experiences at this hospital, nice and caring staff.

Holy Atheist

I went in the ER at 3am and it wasn't busy at all, only a sad looking family waiting. I'm had severe chest pain and was crying. They took me behind where the receptionist desks were and took my blood. A husky, Hispanic male receptions the said, without an ounce of concern or empathy "why are you crying." I told him I was in pain and he grunted in reply. After a while I went back into a room and was left there in FREEZING temperatures. I asked for a blanket and a half hour later they bring a super thin one. Mind you I'm overweight, I usually run warm all the time but the room was still so cold and the blanket so thin that it added to my suffering 2 fold! They told me it was a magnesium deficiency and hooked me up to an IV. The magnesium made me feel ill and storage but they said it would be fine. It took 5 hours for the IV to drain into me and at the end I was so cold I could feel myself becoming hysterical. When the IV was drained I begged them to unhook it and let me go home. They said they would but made me wait another hour. I was contemplating how I was going to remove the needle myself when the nurse came in and rudely unhooked me with some snarky comment I don't remember. I drove myself home, piled on the blankets, and had to take the whole day in bed to recover, not from my chest pain, which went away on its own, but from the hospital stay I had endured. How this hospital has any positive reviews at all is beyond me. I would have complained to the hospital manager but knew from the experiences of a friend and my mother that it would have absolutely no effect or good outcome. The medical care in las cruces is a sick joke. If your ill and have the means, move somewhere else.

Lisa Vallejo

The hospital staff is fine but their billing/accounting department is a joke. Won't bore you with the details...I have all of my documentation, they actually owe me money but have me in collections. They are a bunch of idiots.

Zeke Rodriguez

Avoid anything related to mountain view at all costs, I have had several bad experiences there but don't want to get into it, I would rather people hear me out and understand that they have MAJOR problems at this hospital and everything under the mountain view label. Its a miracle a huge scandal hasn't broken out yet.

Dana Young

Don't use their Imaging Center for bone density testing. They only scan one hip and the spine. They only scan the hip opposite of the hand you write or eat with, saying that handedness makes that entire side of your body stronger and therefore, not necessary to check! This simplistic logic is not supported by research. Is anybody reading medical research at this hospital, or are they just trying to save time and money?

Vicky White

This is absolutely the worst hospital I have ever dealt with in my life. My daughter was in a major vehicle roll over this weekend, and the way they treated her was absolutely irresponsible, unprofessional, and zero compassion! The nursing staff was horrible, insensitive to my child who had just almost lost her life and watched her best friend almost lost hers also. You do not tell a patient to shut up and stop crying, you do not poke the injuries then tell the patient oh that didn’t hurt, you do not look at an injury and say what it’s just a scrape. I thought medical personal were supposed to know that not all injuries are on the outside! To to it off these Imbeciles made my daughter, that had just about passed out going to the bathroom, walk out of the hospital BY HER SELF to wait for me to bring the car. She had just been in a roll over accident, was shaky on her feet, no clothes but a hospital gown, made to walk alone out of the building, and then had to stand there almost naked and not even a wheelchair!! And this is a hospital? I did not chose to bring my child here it was decided by EMS because of their Trauma level and they would not let me take her to MMC. Next time I’ll carry her out in my arms and walk to MMC, because Mountainview is joke and I’ll be calling the Medical Board and everyone else needed to make sure those nurses learn that you cannot treat another patient like they treated my child. (I only gave a 1 rating so I could write this, but I wanted to give it a ZERO!)

Angie Mendoza

My has been there since the 8th complaining of headache and she is a stroke victim partially paralyzed with no care whatsoever! As of Monday no Neurosurgeon had been to see her, and no plan of action. She was moved out of ICU taken upstairs and just left there with no instruction on meds or anything. This is the most incompetent staff, nursing and care. God help the people of Las Cruces! And today they were going to release her but they did and MRI and found a new stroke, imagine that!

sharon stewart

My husband received care in this faculty and could not have got better care. He was in icu and the nurses worked diligently to save him. I have never saw people that cared as much as they did. From the surgeon to the techs everyone was professional and caring. My family and I would like to thank everyone of them for the outstanding job they did

Leticia Lucero

We were in town visiting family and had to take my son in. This incident was about 3 years ago for a respiratory problem, we went through ER. We had a clerk named Cynthia Woods, she was horrible. She did not have good customer service at all. Everyone else at the hospital was sweet and helpful. But she will be the reason I never go to Mountain view again. If anything happens and we are in Las Cruces Memorial is where we will take him.

CQBify

Truthfully , its a hit or miss with this hospital. They either treat you fast or stupid slow. I was in the waiting room for 4 hours with chest pains and another hour in the exam room. The triage is not up to par. I witnessed a little kid carried in by EMS and forced to wait in the wating room screaming and crying. I don't know if its short of staff or they don't know what to do with the patients. I went back for exams and there were plenty rooms open. Just vacant . then I was imidiatly brought back to the waiting room and I didn't even see the doctor until after 4-5 hours. Try MMC or go to el Paso. I got way better treatment and it was faster in Texas. So if you're in cruces try MMC or el Paso .

This is usually my GO TO hospital as the other one isnt all that great. However, I just recently had my daughter and the CRNA named "Misty" messed me all up! This lady poked me TWICE, she took SO DANG long to do it, and she got blood back on the first AND second poke! The epidural only worked on my left side of my body, and I could NOT move that side for 10 hours.. TEN! In the hallway she was overheard stating that she got nervous because my boyfriend was watching her perform the procedure! She even checked on me TWICE that night. This is my second child and second epidural. It's going on two months since I've had my daughter and I have back pain daily, I get a numbing sensation throughout my left side of my body on occassion and sometimes my left leg buckles. My back also KILLS me when I lay a certain way in bed or if I get even a tas bit cold!! I recommend saying HELL NO if this lady comes in to do your epidural. Also, make sure the nurse is listening carefully. They almost did not let us be discharged without speaking to a case worker because the nurse put in her documentation that I stated I felt unsafe in my own home.. which I NEVER stated! I am also currently waiting for a response from the hospital on these unfortunate incidents. Note: With my first I had NO problems. The CRNA who did my epidural with my son was named Marco, he was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! So fast, it worked and I had no issues afterward. I 10/10 reccomend Marco!

Angela Ramirez

Worst place to work for and by far the worst place to get medical help.

Milan Holguin

This review is for the Medical Records Dept only. They are very unfriendly and unprofessional. I had to send a record request 5 times and still haven't received the patients results. Due to their lack of urgency the patient had to reschedule until we receive his results which we are still waiting to receive. If an ordering physician sends out a patient for any type of services the records should be sent accordingly. Wouldn't recommend going here if you're expecting your records to sent to your doctor by your follow up.

Matthew Balog

Don't believe all the bad reviews. Staff and service was great. I think MountainView has really changed for the better.

Albert Lopez

Hospital looks good from the outside, but once your in it’s a nightmare.. my dad had a stroke and they kicked him out after a couple of hrs... couldn’t even help put him in a wheelchair... no wonder they need security guards

John Edwards

The Emergency room staff is the best I have ever seen. They have taken very good care of me for all of my visits! My primary care physician called in an order directly to the Emergency Room a few months ago and spoke with an RN by the first name of Cassidy and gave an order for a blood transfusion because of my low hemogoblobin level. When I arrived, they took me right in and completed my doctor's order quickly and I felt like a new man when I left. I went again yesterday for a different problem and they did everything they could to help. I love the staff and the doctors that treated me. Thank you very much.

Daisy Armendariz

this place is terrible ! most of the nurses have no business being nurses. the doctors and surgeons are terrible. don't go there

Jacqueline Crawford

After 3 hours of waiting, I finally left and went to our other hospital. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. The nurse that checked us in put my 16 month in for a fever (which is not why I took her in) so we fell to the bottom of the "priority" 8+ people came in after us and were taken into triage before us so I finally went and asked if her vitals were ever going to be taken and she rudely responded "eventually we will get to her, our triage rooms are full" and they were not. My daughter was just laying there, showed signs of confusion, couldn't hold herself up, wouldn't respond to anything, her eyes would roll and her body would go stiff. Was sent to ER by her doctor, I will never go back to this hospital and I am leaving a review anywhere possible so others know it's not a 30 minute pledge and the staff is unprofessional and the triage room was disgusting and dirty.

Brandon Cargill

They get one star for only one good employee. This was a terrible visit to their ER. They don't communicate patient info from triage to RN's, or RN's to PA's. The sorry excuse for a medical professional laughed when I told her the duration of my pain. She suggested all of the medications I was already on, and this next sentence was a direct quote. "If you already had Xrays (from another clinic) and you have an appointment with a Gastrointestinal specialist... Then what do you expect or want us to do then?".... Asked if i had other issues, then laughed again when I answered her question! The tech was rough getting my IV in, and I was not treated with an ounce of respect. As a former employee of an ER, I know you can get frustrated with the perceived lack of severity, but absolutely doesn't mean to treat patients like they aren't worth your time. At the end of it all the doctor had a realization, " Maybe there is something else wrong with you if the medications arent working.... Hmmm..." Duh! I didn't come to the ER because it is a fun place to be! DON'T GO HERE!!!

Margaret Bushon

I am looking for federal agency to report your substandard level of care and billing practices. I first had a very unsatisfactory stay at your facility two years ago, then recently had blood drawn at your urgent care facility. The report was supposed to faxed to my doctor, but was evidently lost somewhere. I have been waiting two days for a call back from them, but doubt if that will happen, or if it does, the sample or report will still be lost. If I ever have to have any medical issues in the future, but if I do, I will hopefully get better care at another facility. So who accredits you, and how do I get in touch with them?

Mike Esparza

Had the worst stay my husband went into surgery and apparently nobody spoke spanish treated my husband as if he had something contagious . And if me and my son werent there er nurse would have have left him choking thank god dr walked in to prevent further damage

Gerald Carson

Outstanding care for my wife, from ER to 3 days in hospital, recovered from a deadly illness. Wonderful staff, the nurses, nurses aides, physicians. All polite, helpful, caring. Hospitalist Dr. Walker was incredibly great, explaining alternatives, ensuring proper care.

Chrystal Valles

The nurses were so sweet and attenative to my father who really made them work so hard! Dr Banda was amazing and very thorough answering questions. Dr. Santos was also very professional and studied the scans very carefully ready to answer questions. Even the janitorial staff were very sweet and not complaining. They all deserve a gold star!

Sarah Q Stevens

My daughter collapsed at work and was unconscious for some time. She was rushed by ambulance to MountainView. They ran a series of tests with no real answers. They were extremely rude and unprofessional. My daughter was released without a head examination at all. Despite being told that she hit her head and a visible scratch and complaints of a headache. My daughter in fact had a concussion, which they did not even check for. RIDICULOUS to say the least. And this is supposedly the hospital where they send people for neurological issues. Fortunate for them my daughter was properly treated at MMC for her concussion and head and neck injuries. That they never even looked at. I am seriously considering hiring an attorney for obvious neglect of a patient and screening.

Roger Anscombe

Excellent and very very good. I am very happy with their staff.

Tania Gonzalez

Dr. Keitz John, rude no help i dont recommend this Hospital at all

sara kusserow

Please share. The treatment or lack of treatment I received this past trip to Mt. View is nothing short of disgusting. I don’t blame Mt. View as a whole because I know people who work there and was well cared for while in the ER last night and by all the nurses on the 3rd floor. It was 1 doctor today that totally insulted me and my disease process. He himself said he was not a specialist but then stated that I do not suffer from seizures. His options for me were to stay in hospital, untreated as he did not know what to do, until Monday or I could leave. His words exactly. So I left, I am filling complain.

L M

Most of staff is great. Don't ever let nurse Claudine help you. She will not help, give attitude and hurt you. Karen Dawson with HR will say she will look into it. Never will and will never call you back

Bailey Herrington

Timely, thorough professional care from the ER staff to the technicians, the nurses and assistants. Special kudos to R.N.s Maria and Kania boothe 4th floor.

Yolanda Justiniano

Excellent staff. At emergency room, Dr. Shawn Smith and RN Candance, gave an extra mile to make me feel as comfortable as possible, showed a great compassion as well; my gratitude forever. Excellent staff on the second floor, was admitted for three days and I couldn't ask for better nurses. Mark, Hynnea, Stephanie, Norma, Theresa, Ellen; thank you for your dedication and compassion. The only complain is about the housekeeping service. They should take better care of the rooms, I had to call them in order to get my bathroom clean, they never cleaned the room in the three days I stayed in the hospital. We are new in town, we were concerned about choosing a right hospital in case of an emergency; hopefully we chose the right one.

Anny Robledo

Horrible. Came in to the emergency room, the nurses were extremely rude and unprofessional. They were just talking about personal things and would ask me the in take questions in between. It's like if they were annoyed with me answering and wouldn't let me finish what I had to say before they started talking about their personal things again. The drs assistant just saw me and said oh yeah you have a infection. Half my forearm is swollen and I'm in pain.

David Pape

Staff is cold and rude, the hospital and affiliates charge more than twice as much as UNM for services. You end up paying a ton of money to be treated horridly. Better to make the drive to El Paso or Albuquerque, unless you are bleeding out and dying.

Ruth Staffeldt

Was I for three days last week. Husband in there now. Excellent care, both in er and on the nursing floors. Friendly staff, including nurses, doctors, aides, housekeep and dietary. Caring, helpful staff...good food as well. Glad I chose Mountainview.

Paul Brown

Sophia Young was great and professional and speaks very good Spanish, she took care of my wife when she had a concussion and cervical neck sprain. Very good service!

Joan McCormick

I've been saddened to read the many negative posts about this hospital where I had to spend four days with a COPD exascerbation in June. I was on the quietest hospital floor ever in the most comfortable hospital bed ever with great nursing and respiratory tech care. The ONLY issue I had was that the first time I went to the ER gasping for breath and with lung congestion, I was given two breathing treatments and sent home. I only got worse, as I knew I would from my past history, and had to return two days later when I was admitted. They agreed with me that I never should have been sent home and wrote off my co-pay. I am grateful to God that I was in their care. The doctors listened to me and were so careful in dealing with my many allergies to drugs. It was a most positive experience.

Emily Cox

So it has taken me about a year of recovery before I can seriously take a look at what happened to me at this hospital when they treated me for a bone infection in my spine, also known as osteomyelitis. The infection had eaten small holes into my spine and moving in any way was very painful. The hospital staff leaves much to be desired at best, and are horrendously negligent at worst. First of all no one would help me shower, even though I could barely stand I had to either shower myself or stink up the place. I was supposed to have gotten an iodine bath that would reduce the bacteria on my skin overall, that was never done. 2nd, One rude male nurse I had didn't wear gloves when changing the caps to my picc line, A tube of which is a direct pathway from the outside world into my heart. The bacteria he could've introduced risked giving me a blood infection on top of everything. But those things are petty compared to what I think was the worst experience of my life. I had to have a bone biopsy so doctors could find out what anabiotics to give me. They were going to insert a giant needle into my spine and take out a sample of my vertebrae. I need emotional support but my boyfriend wasnt allowed in with me, even though he could've scrubbed up. The experience was absolutely terrifying. They put me on the metal table, one of the surgeons making a snide comment about how my weight would break their own backs. The stone faced surgeon gave me local anesthetic but I firmly believe he did not wait long enough before plunging a needle into my spine. The screams I let out were so guttural and foreign sounding they could have been made by a tortured animal. The 30 seconds it took to get the sample felt more like minutes. I sobbed uncontrollably and begged them to stop with every shudder and spasm of my body contributing more to my pain by moving my spine around the needle. They did not stop, the hospital staff could not have cared less. The pain was absolutely unbearable, It was actual torture. I think they were negligent because all the accounts I read of bone biopsies online said that the aesthetic usually kept people from feeling it. I felt everything. That was a year ago and to this day it still takes me to a dark place just to remember it.

Video Carnage

I’m sitting in the ER with my son who is terrified of needles. And before judgement, the fear may come from previous experiences in the hospital with terrible phlebotomists. An IV needed to be put in. Of course this was terrifying to my son. Not only did the terrible phlebotomist poke him once and fail, but three times!!! This was so unacceptable and this hospital needs qualified people so that children are not traumatized. If you can avoid this hospital I recommend you go elsewhere.

April Kessel

I have a complex child with many medical issues, went in because he had difficulty breathing, and wheezing. Doc ordered chest xray, told me it was either pneumonia or heart failure, did an albuterol treatment, never reassessed my son, then sent us home even though he is still wheezing and having a difficult time breathing. No follow up chest xray. They just got busy in the ER and sent us packing.

Amanda Bug

I dont recommend this place. Please go somewhere else for care.

K W

Do not go here for medical help...WATCH OUT FOR DR. BUSSEY...this doctor laughed at my injury, ridiculed me and wasted hours and hours of my time. The admitting staff had to be begged to do their job!!

Lolo 2019

This place is disgusting i was scheduled for a induction in labor delivery. My Dr. Said she will deliver my baby i was that it's another dr on rite. Totally uncomfortable for me.. These nurses are not comforting at ALL i mean the room Labor Delivery Room was filthy blood stains on sheets, blankets, everything as far as bedding. Completely disgusting the room was dirty the restroom looed like it hasn't been clean in months hair everywhere. I mean by the looks of it i thought this was a new hospital but it needs to be well maintain. So disappointed

WARNING this hospital is a huge scam. I received a bill today, four months after an outpatient surgery, but not before I got a call from a COLLECTION agency. The bill also was not discussed prior to surgery when they decided without my permission to use an out of network provider, from UTAH to monitor my surgery via video. WTF! The bill is not itemized and completely unprofessional. I am going to report them to the better business bureau and write my elected officials. I am a public servant and this is a disgrace.

I don't know where else to put this, but I just want to thank everyone who helped with my care last night and today. Special thanks to Pedro, Margarita, Suki, Rebecca, and Mindy. You all made my stay as comfortable as possible and I really truly appreciate it.

Julie Tobin-Ruszczyk

Broke my foot went through ER. Developed high fever with infection which I believe got from ER. It was dirty and disorganized. Nurse couldn't find anything. I think she either had a hang over or was taking her own drugs. I'd say more but would be writing a book. Will never go back.

Ashley Ouellette

Terrible costume service and terrible staff. We waited 3 1/2 hrs for a scheduled procedure and then the nursing staff just proceeded to be rude. We will not return to this hospital!

Brenda Hernandez

My baby had a fever of 105.8. I called her Pediatrician and she said to take her to the ER. I get there with my baby was not able to wake up, very weak. And the guy in the front said they will call you when they're ready. What?!!! I waited 30 minutes and my mother said we have to bring down her fever let's go home. (We live 7 minutes away from the hospital) In 10 mins we were able to bring down her fever. If I would have waited there my baby would have probably had brain damage. I will be reporting this, very soon. If I have an emergency again I will be going to El Paso.

Mike Gerkin

At the end of a long medical helicopter transport, the Mountainview coronary surgical team headed by Doctors Banda and Ghatak were waiting for my arrival and quickly began emergency actions in response to my heart attack. They efficiently and effectively treated the severe conditions causing the attack. During my 3 day stay at Mountainview, I observed only the finest quality medical services from all the people I came into contact with. In addition to the two doctors mentioned above, I must specifically commend RN Liz McNulty as being outstanding in her knowledge and dedication to her responsibilities. Overall, I could not have received better care than that delivered during my October stay at Mountainview Regional Medical Center. Thank you.

Jacob Paz

The hospital stay was horrible. All employees push off work on each other if you ask for something they tell you sure and 1 and a half hours later your still waiting. I had major surgery I was in major pain I asked for my scheduled pain meds and had to wait an hour and a half to receive them. You are better off dealing with an injury at home.

Shauna Strome

Dr. Hatch is very friendly with the kids and professional. I love the layout, it allows me to be with my twins at the same time which helps everyone feel more comfortable.

Adrian Larson

Great care in a personal emergency; the ER and GI team provided great care when I didn't chew my food and it ended up stuck in my esophagus.

Valarie Coppola

The nurses are rude, will not give you an update on your loved one going through surgery even though you asked one time in a 5 hour period. Just be pushy, that's what I had to do. I guess they only know how to respond when you get nasty. Among other things, they're incompetent. The volunteer staff are wonderful. But beyond that, not so great.

Nellie Owens

Rarely did a doctor introduce himself or inform me of his speciality. There were so many conflicting diagnoses and treatments that I was never sure what caused my husband’s illness nor how to avoid it in the future. I felt, because I am female and 75, that I was treated like a senile patient. When my son arrived the doctors introduced themselves to him, asked him questions and just ignored me. I would suggest seminars in courtesy!

Jay Pap

The hospital charged me for services that were never rendered and they finally adjusted it when confronted. BUT they decided to double charge my credit card thinking they can get away with it.

Anna Gomez

Went to er via amr ,frontal lobe head trauma, loss of mobility also on coumadin.though they did CT times 2,both negative thanks to god.i was very unstable needing assistance to walk, was discharged non the less.only to be back and admitted for pt /ot evaluation.only flaw is now I have 2 er visits and of course cost.

himpke flopdoodle

They have a Doctor who looks like Kojak that was more concerned with sticking a catheter in than checking the massive edema I had from CHF. A zoo , a joke and a menace to peoples health

Leticia Miller

Wow been sitting in a room with my daughter for two hours one nurse walking around like she's busy but yet laughing with other nurses and we haven't been seen by no one this is the worst hospital ever

Erika Ojeda

Billing is horrible!! I have been transferred three different times with no straight answer.

Judith Zamarripa

Doctors from this hospital misdiagnosed my 5 year old daughter with Herpes! The medical staff did not bother to run further test, labs, etc to confirm their pathetic theory before involving: Cps, detectives, and forensic interviews; my small child was traumatized by the distasteful event. What an absolute joke that Mountain View has such incompetent physicians practicing on children! Thankfully, I decided to take my daughter to the Children's Hospital in El Paso and with an infectious disease pediatrician from Texas Tech, who confirmed (after actually running many tests) that my child THANKFULLY did not have genital herpes or ANY of the herpes virus strains. Do NOT take your children here!

Grace Hernandez

Very unprofessional and rude. We waited over 5 hours for them to treat a 9 month old child with 103.9 fever. We actually heard the staff talk about us and make the remark, 'Just send their a$$es home." Two seconds later we were being told to go home. They blew 3 veins trying to get an IV in this poor child and they told us it wasn't working because he was too dehydrated. When they told us to go home, they told us he wasn't dehydrated after all. We filed a formal complaint that night which was buried but we went back the next day. They also falsified the medical records and documented that they did things they did not do. I can't speak for other people's experiences; I can only speak for mine. Heartless and unethical staff.

Phyllis Stewart

As a type 1 diabetic with a limited supply of insulin on board, had to wait two days, constantly asking for replacement insulin. I was told "ok" many times from different staff members. The order was never given and never requested by the staff. Had to go 8 hours without insulin after getting stern with the nursing staff. Many other problems. Would never recommend.

Rey Blueyes

Staff took very good care of my son. I'm grateful for the Dr. & Nurse's there in the pediatric unit. Thank you all.

Jessica Garcia

Exceptionally rude staff, my relative couldn't die fast enough. The severe insincerity, extreme lack of empathy, and brute roughness demonstrated by ICU nurses was appalling. I'm sure they are all very busy with problems of their own but I don't feel that justifies blatant arrogance and insensitivity . Thanks for nothing, I wish we would have had the option to go somewhere else, but emergencies can't be planned. If you can plan, plan to go elsewhere.

Tony Quinzi

I was attended by two different registered nurses in the Infusion Department for a series of 10 consecutive-day intravenous infusions ordered by my primary care physician. I told the nurses that they were absolutely the best nurses I had ever encountered, not only for their nursing competence but also for their friendly demeanor. Because of the extraordinary treatment I received, on my last visit, I presented each of them with a long-stem red rose.

Michelle McNeill

Worst experience in my life. The ER is a complete self serving narsassis. Does not care about patient but sure loves to hear himself talk. On my death bed I would not return to this hospital. Nursing staff was patient and kind.(Aston) Doctor has a complex and refused to talk to me but talked about me in front of me to my husband.

Buffalo Bill

Doctor didn’t even touch me I went here to get medically cleared for my multiple health heres so I could get admitted for psych for being suicidal (which wasn’t a issue to them either) All we got was a huge bill, had to go across the state to get real help for my health issues

Jim McCafferty

Crawled into Emergency Room after dinner 7P with painful cough after self treating for 4 days breathing free and pain free. fistfull of scripts fill across the street at wallgreens. The last thing the hospital did was take my info. The first thing they did was get me taken care of. Nurses, doctors technicians, oh my! and they must have a rule that you must be young beautiful and happy to work there! I loved getting sick enough to go there. Care first, info last out in an hour. Hospital of the future.

Myrna Liner

Have not received better care anywhere than in er or next group up.

Kelly Newell

I would like to warn other potential patients about this facility. My son goes to college at NM Mexico State and got the flu. We encouraged him to find a clinic that could get him in. They took him at Mountain View, tested him for the flu (he didn't even see a doctor) confirmed he had the flu, gave him a perscription to fill and sent him on his way. We later got a bill for 800.00 dollars after a 150 dollar copay and the insurance payment. We disputed the charges but apparently that is what they charge. We feel like our son was MISLED, he thought it was a clinic, IT IS NOT! They lead the patient to believe they are an urgent care clinic when they are an actual emergency room which charges emergency room prices. We are now paying an extremely high price for a 15 minute appointment done by the nurse.

Nena Gonz

I am giving 1 star with the exception of a very few outstanding nurses and other employees such as maintenance.I have been hospitalized here three times, my last hospitalization was it for me.There is a DANGEROUS lack of communication between DR.s ,Nurses and Pharmacy. Las Cruces is in big trouble with the lack of GOOD, competent, caring, SMART, and professional Dr.s that take their oath seriously.R.N Milbe is very lazy, dismissive, and always hidding in the stock room with other nurses. If she is your nurse or family members nurse I recommend you know your med.s well. She is lost.African American RN Heather Med surgery 3 North is very Rude. She does not want to be bothered and does not respect patient rights. Will force medications on you whether you want them or not.By the way Patients have the right to refuse any medication or treatment that they feel may be a danger to their health. Will not be going back to that "Hospital".I am sure that this "Hospital" MGMT. Will not even care about this post.

Bridgette Montano

Nicole at doc stampp's office is EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! Never have I been yelled at by an m.a. so badly! To the point where I cancelled my surgery. Here they just don't care! That's why nurses doc & even other employees are so rude & hateful because nothing gets done. They should stop & realize that without us they wouldn't be employed. If their jobs are that bad or you don't like people FIND ANOTHER JOB!

Jenn Ross

Emergency department is terrible...My Dr sent me for testing. As I was there for a total of 6 1/2 hours. The 1rst shift the pa briefly came in NEVER telling me I was being admitted. Which I do believe is important to know. I'm not from las cruces so I'm not at all familiar with how there E.R works, but I do know it should have been more professional then this particular one. The nurse lead on the 1rst shift had no clue to what was supposed to be happening, no one could answer my questions. 2nd shift the nurse lead never even came into the room, and the pa on that shift was very unsure to the whole situation, and I never saw a nurse, except in the halls passing. So my husband went to the desk to check on exactly what was going on only to get a response that they needed to put in a I.V ..before being admitted, OBVIOUSLY they didn't even bother to notice I already had a iv.. NO vitals where taken this whole time.. EXCEPT when I was checking in. Hmm considering the reason I was there was and could have been a more serious reason.. To get to the point the emergency department sucks!! I understand I was not an only patient, but to be informed and occasionally checked on would have been greatly appreciated!! .. Now when I was FINALLY taken to my room upstairs 3rd floor the nurses where ABSOLUTELY amazing.. Very polite, very caring. Made sure all questions where answered the best they could.. when it was time to be discharged they where right on top of everything making sure to have all my tests and blood results ready for me to take home.. So thanks so much to the 3rd floor staff.. And the ER DEPARTMENT should take notes from patient reviews and compliants to better educate there staff including the pa's

Steve Glover

Zero stars wasn't an option, so they get one. Absolutely the worst emergency room. I would never come back or bring anyone I care about here. Lots of staff, not to many of them working. Unless you count chit chatting with one another a job.

Sandra Sigel

ER is a joke. My husband was taken by ambulance June 7th. He had fallen out of his recliner and couldn't move his right arm and had severe pain in his right butt cheek and couldn't move. Had ambulance take him to Mt. View because they have all his records. When I got to ER my husband was in triage. He was then brought out to the waiting room in a wheelchair to sit for almost 2 hours. During this time he was sweating profusely, his body was jerking and he was in and out of sleep. When we finally got taken in, we waited another hour before the very rude and ignorant PA, Valerie, came in. Asked a couple questions and left. Didn't see anyone for a while and finally an awesome nurse came and did an IV and said he was going to have a CT Scan. Finally at 4:30 am we were told he was going to be admitted. Diagnosis: Dehydration, renal issues, build up of fluid do to previous surgery on 5/16/17 and a UTI. P.S. ER told us they did not have access to his hospital records. They were unaware of his current medications, previous surgeries and hospital stays.

Karen Rix

Had a heart attack. Was in Er and within 30 mins was in cath lab. Fantastic care! Spent 3 days in ICU received great care from all of the staff. Highly recommended!

Cat Bus

I am traveling across country and had to stop here at 4am one morning bc of how sick I had gotten. The ER night staff was very efficient at getting me in and on treatment so I could start feeling better. The doctor was very easy to talk to and thought of me as the patient first, instead of trying to run a bunch of tests on things I may not need. I was terrified to be sick so far from home, but they made it a lot easier.

Michael Kelley

took my son in to the emergency room with a broken arm. Never saw a doctor, they only found one of the breaks in his x-rays, and sent us on our way with a splint and the doctors name that was supposed to be on call to see 3 days later. Once we say a real doctor, we found that there were 2 breaks in his arm and that it should have been set right then as it was a bad break with a 20% angle. My son had to have his arm practically re broken to set it because it was already healing. The on call doctor decided he didn't want to work that day or never was told about the x-ray or misinformed about how bad the break was. Don't know but don't trust them hare.

Arleen Tinsley

My sister was sent here by her GP to be admitted for a blockage in her leg 5 hours later we were moved to a from from the bed to an easy chair we're never offered a blanket and it was freezing. and Iv was put in badly bruising ,and it was never to be used ,and and then sent home. The next day she's having emergency surgery for blocked arteries at Memorial. We will never go here again.

kkk kkk

I love it cause my mom works there and u guys shouldn't be talking crap

Dale Emmert

The entire staff was very attentive and caring to my wife. I also had a very positive experience when I went to outpatient for cataract surgery.

Michaela Caffaro

If I could have given a half star I would have. The x-ray tech was the only one who showed any compassion. Although having to walk much further than normal because of construction she still kept a positive attitude and not treat us poorly.

Rosana Ortega

It was better than Memorial now they have nasty bathrooms it's dirty and they take forever I'm gonna try to stay away from there going back to Memorial they need better staff . The other day took my husband cause he has had 2 heart attacks his lab x rays and EKG came out good and then Dr tell us if he left he might get massive heart attack in 72 hour's so we stayed over night and when he was going to get released not even the doctor went in to give him results or instructions on releasing him .That's why a lot of people die cause the lack of Dr's and nurse's gonna see who I can complain too.

Brittany Medina

Was in labor and delivery Monday till Tuesday morning, then to postpartum Tuesday mid morning! My nurse VERONICA was amazing and truly caring I have never had a nurse like her or Terri. They were both amazing constantly checking on me and letting me know they were leaving and introducing me to the next nurse. My next nurse in postpartum Irene, need some work she was kind and polite but I hardly seen her, I asked for medicine she told me she would but in the order and would return when it came back. Never got my medicine, nor did I see that nurse again till the new nurse for the night came In. Veronica and Terri are nurses who truly enjoy what they do even when they get tired.

phil buckner

Wish I could give zero star. This is absolutely the worst medical facility I have ever been to. Went in for rotator cuff diagnosis, doctor saw me for maybe 1minute and was told I now owe over 1400 dollars. Mountain View is just a den of thrives. Will never go back for any reason whatsoever. I give two thumbs down.

Two Sticks

One star is too many. If you ever have to resolve a billing issue, don’t bother calling the hospital as they forward you to someone outside that does their billing. Outside billing has no clue about putting the customers first. FYI NEVER get lab work done through the hospital.

Eden Rodriguez

They cancel your appointment for no reason, or because another patient had the same last name as you. Digestive health you need more training. Had an appointment today for PFT once again scheduling screwed up the paperwork. 11-21-2018.

Yvonne Carson

Been here with my mom for 1hr 1/2, we have had a couple of test, no Dr.! Only one nurse introduced herself....so far, this place is has givin me a bad taste....no bueno

Susanna Martinez

Would've gave 0 stars horrible staff just awful, they don't care about your problems at all they just want to get you out of there asap.

Carmen Forrester

The emergency room is not very clean. One of the staff is very rude. The alarms keep going off and no one comes to check...

Adrian Alvarez

Worst hospital experience ever, went for help and GOT profiled:

Daniel Jones

MVRMC.... If you'd like to be ignored or treated like you're wasting the ER nurse's time... Mountain View is the place for you! Hands down the WORST nursing staff in town. I deal with them on a daily basis and every time I am reluctant when I have to go there. Terrible bedside manner. Rude and stuck up. Never in a hurry. Hard to find when in need. When you do find them, you're wasting their time. It's a gloomy, miserable environment to be in specifically because of nursing staff in the ER. 1/5 stars is my rating only because you can't rate any lower. Well done Mountain View.

Rande Pierce

I've been here many many times, have not one bad thing to say about it.

Dennice Dominguez - Villa

I had my holter monitor test done about a month ago and been asking for them to fax the results to my doctor's office, their medical records staff "Carla" does not know what customer service is, she did not know that i was still on the line when she cussed. She keeps on saying she will fax the results but until now the doctor's office said they were told it is still pending. Seriously? For over a month? Just for the holter monitor?! I will not recommend this hospital.

Marcos Torres

45 minutes aftet going to a room, nurse came asked the same questions the desk asked and said x-ray needs to come, did not know what is taking so long. Really poor service.

Dayna Hoyle

I went to the ER on 11-11-17 as Sandra Love, my married name now. I was a COPD/Asthma exacerbation, and sepsis patient. I was visiting from Mt. Airy, North Carolina, way out of my comfort zone of, sea level and 80% humidity, to 3000 ft. above sea level and 9% humidity. My experience began in the ER with excellent staffing and admitting team. Admitted to room 345, to a team of Angels who carefully, kindly watched over me. I am internally grateful. Any one that walked in that room between 11-11 and 11-16-17, you know who you are, may God bless you forever. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Jonathan Gonzalez

I totally recommend this hospital. Great service, nurses & cna's are so nice..I loved it couldn't complain

Melinda Alday-Florez

We had an amazing experience, caring nurses and wonderful NP and physicians!

pamela peeler

If I could rate a zero, I would. This place is a complete JOKE. There is nothing urgent about the emergency room. the staff is too busy arguing in the hall. They have no idea what they are supposed to be doing.

Stella Vargas

They have a lot of incompetent nurses in the ICU.

Paula Garcia

Been here a couple of times and I can say this, for a hospital it sure is dirty!! The people in the ER registration are a little rude, but I think it's just immaturity. They need to be taught how to be professional. Overall I think Memorial is still the best! Only came here because it was closer to home, but next time I'll make the drive!!

Kayla Nash

Giving it a 3 due to the ER. I was in early labor and very hydrated. Came in to be checked out (we live in alamogordo) and they said oh you're just dehydrated and i was shocked but accepted it. I wasput on iv fluids and they completely did my IV wrong like bad. I was being checked out, ( there's a small community check out room) and another nurse was like wow youre about to pop... she called l&d and told them and the imnediately brought me up. I was in early stages on labor and suffering from very high blood pressure. They went to check my IV and immediately realized the nurse in the er triage had completely messed it up (i had a bruise on my forearm for 5 weeks after) so she had to redo it. Thankfully, the labor and dleivery team was prompt. They checked on me ALOT. This was my 2nd baby but high risk. I wound up with a csection the following day and Dr. REDDY did an AMAZING job. They let me do skin to skin nearly immediately. The labor and delivery team needs nothing, they are SUPERB. Er on the other hand, i would just stick to an urgent care if i could... that or just go to providence in elp.

Corina Sanchez

Rude staff!!! ICU had one RN who was amazing! five stars to you Margarita.

Autumn Ludwig

The nurse in the ER room told me " i dont know If you need blood work done or not but I'm gonna do it anyway just in case. If they dont need it I will throw your blood in the trash." Proceeded to put the needle in and me not being scared of them she puts it in and misses and i screamed it hurt so bad. I told her no I want it out get me another nurse and she proceeds to stick it out and back in the same hole hurting even more . She then tells me "I've been doing this all day". I told her NO AGAIN and she tells the other nurse in another room "it's already in" and then comes to me and says you want someone else? And takes it out rudely. Now the other nurse came in and did it painlessly. Then they have me waiting in a room for 40 mim waiting for the iV bag to connect me to. I'm throwing up not feeling well. So I call for help. Jeremy the PA goes in and starts acting very rude telling me that I'm getting out of hand. I told him he needs to understand I'm not in the best condition hes is completely normal so shouldn't be yelling at me. He proceeds to say who cares about what happened earlier let it go what the nurse did because I told him I'm filing a complaint . He proceeded to call security on me for that. I demanded the nurses name for the record and he refused to give it to me. Said it should be on my paper work. I looked at the paper work and her name was not on there. They will be hearing from me again. dont ever come here!! They are the worse! Very rude. Especially that nurse and pa jeremy Milligan.

Keith Coombs

They always do their best and they will always strive to make it right if there is a problem. And they have the world's best CEO.

Morgan Hiles

If I could give zero stars I would! Their urgent care center is a complete joke! On two separate occasions, I was there for over 2 hours with my kids and we were the only ones there. Also be prepared to receive SEVERAL bills in addition to the copay. What they conveniently 'forget' to tell is that you will be another bill from the facility and a completely separate bill from the physician.

Chevy

This is regarding the E.R.: One visit here while i was pregnant was horrible, their were patients vomiting in the waiting room, a poor elderly man who had hit his head was lying on the floor they weren’t even decent enough to give him a wheelchair. The staff refused to help another patient stand. The intake staff is horribly rude and inhumane. I also came here once to check on a family member who was in a car accident they began making loud comments about my being able to carry a carseat thinking I was the patient. I really dislike these rude unprofessional nurses or whatever the i take staff is. It is sad because LC doesn't have many options for healthcare especially if your brought here in an emergency. The labor and delivery here was great so I do recommend them I just wish the ER staff would be more respectful and caring.

Dora Kohler

Been here quite a few times and everytime I watched as the doctors and nurses stood around talking and playing with various things while their patients are ignored. They also put patients in the hallways. Doesn't this violate Hippa rights? My boyfriend got stitches (not done well) in the hallway and was rushed out after almost chopping off his finger. What happened to doctors and nurses oath to have compassion and when did they stop actually caring about their patients and their well being. It seems more like herding cattle for money than helping those in need.

Laura N

This review is for the lab on Northrise. Staff are too uncaring and uninvolved to ensure patients behave normally in the waiting room. Two adolescent girls were allowed to play their phones at loud volume in the waiting room. When staff were politely asked to address the noise, they refused. When asked to then turn off the television because all the noise was discomfiting, they said nothing at all. I said ok, and started playing my music. LOL. That worked! Lab staff were great and promised to address. Those front desk folks though...

Levi Phillips

First visit they operated on a family member. The incision became infected sending her into a coma for a month. By a miracle she survived, despite them pressuring us to "pull the plug." Second visit they prescribed another family member medicine with sulfa, despite being repeatedly told she had an allergy to it. Then the same family member that was originally operated on went back for similar symptoms, but was released saying there was nothing wrong. We disagreed and immediately took her to another hospital where they determined there was something urgently wrong. They admitted her but she unfortunately passed away the next day. I understand that the medical industry isn't perfect, however this hospital, on several separate occasions, has failed to perform their duty. I wish my career field allowed for as many mistakes.

Ray Martinez

My father went there for a simple surgery to clean out an artery in his neck. The surgery supposedly went well no stroke. Sometime during the night something happened, not a stroke. They put him on a ventilator and inserted a feeding tube. The feeding tube went through his duidum and punctured his intestine. For 6 days they didn't even know that they did this. Anything that they fed him as well as any medicine he was given through the tube went into his abdominal cavity as well as all the bacteria that leaked in from his intestines. Now two months later his liver failed and took out his kidneys, and he has pneumonia and most likely some sepsis is still in his system. He's not going to survive. The person that did this to him is still working there. All the staff that I've talked to are pushing for us to pull the plug. Must be a burden on the "Medical Center" He was a good man that won't get to see his new great granddaughter after she is born in the next couple of days. Do not take anyone that you care about to this place for treatment. I had to pick a star to post. I would not give them a star. Most of the nurses taking care of my father now are pretty professional...too little too late

Alice Pryfogle

Terrible. No nurses answering calls. Nobody coming in the room to help. Dirty and disappointing. Beware.

Trinity Bennett

Wow. I'm not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from! I've given birth to both my children here, and recently had emergency gallbladder removal surgery at MountianView Hospital. The doctors and nurses were excellent all 3 times. With my gallbladder removal, the nurses in post op were FANTASTIC! I pushed the nurse button, and they were there is 15 seconds or less! They were very helpful, considerate, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The surgeon came and checked on me multiple times to check on my progress. They were all very professional and accommodating. I would DEFINITELY recommend going to MountianView Hospital, ESPECIALLY over Memorial Hospital, where many people have been admitted for something minor, and have developed life threatening infections and died!!!

Mary Thompson

They were wonderful and gave me attention and professional care 3 times

Ruth Hurtado

Worst hospital ever

Karen Liello

Doesn't deserve one star at all!!! Don't waste your money on this place, they suck! Over charge patients and service is horrible! Any doctor associated with them don't care about their patients, they just charge you! It's all about the money not how you are taken care of your needs.

Steven Fardal

Went to ER with an infection in upper jaw from dentist, they sent me on my way with a prescription not having given me anything while there or physically looking at anything. While waiting for script I couldn’t stand pain. I was able to visit my physician at her home, she instructed me to go back to ER as fast as possible. My sister had to be my advocate to get me a shot of antibiotics and pain meds. Long story short, if I had waited for the prescription to be filled and not gone back the infection would have completed it’s journy through my optic nerve, got to my brain and I would have died.

CrYsTaL KaRmA

They Told me they were giving me Motrin..! It Wasn't!! I believe they ILLEGALLY, DRUGGED Me.. Gaving me a SEIZURE.. And COVERED IT UP!! KNOWING ALL ALONG THE PATIENTS MEDICAL HISTORY OF SEIZURE FROM MEDICATION INTERACTIONS!! CAN THEY LEGALLY " Pass Off " Strong, " PRESCRIPTION ONLY MEDS " ?? For Insomnia Or Nausea & LIE?? Telling Patients Its, "JUST A SIMPLE, OVER THE COUNTER FEVER REDUCER" ??? & Just Wait & See What Happens??!!! BEFORE THEY DECIDE WHAT & WHEN A PATIENT SHOULD... KNOW,.. WHAT SHOULD BE IN THEIR CHART & WHAT THEY THINK SHOULD BE COVERED UP ABOUT A PATIENTS HEALTH & HEALTHCARE. BASED ON THEIR BANK ACCOUNTS& NOT A PATIENTS HEALTH!! When should a patient decide they need to record all their Dr.. Hospital.. & Ambulance Interactions? I know when i chose.. It was several yrs ago after Another Almost Deadly Trips To Mountain View Regional Medical Center. HOW BOUT NEXT TIME I GET TO PRACTICE?!!

I had an unpleasant experience at the maternity with nurse Traci. She was the most discourteous and unprofessional nurse ever. At some point I was concerned that she will hurt my newborn. Traci handled my newborn very rough and she left my baby undressed after every routine checkups. She would walkout without letting us know if she is done or not leaving my son undressed.

This place is horrible ...Had me waiting in the hallway on a bed 4 hours , never got a room, they lost my urine sample and blood work ! 3 hours later they noticed they lost It! I wasn't even able to see a doctor ! It was a student! They kept changing their mind on everything and at last they send me home saying I was okay and nothing was wrong while I was still in pain! staff has no idea...on what they are doing .

ER sent me home when I needed brain surgery. After 3 weeks in HOSPITAL I can safely say that overall I was physically, verbally abused, and neglected. Can you imagine being abused in INTENSIVE CARE?

This being bigger hospital out the 2, nurses just sit around visiting mocking other patients instead tending to there patients. Like they all having a big pot luck and where in no hurry to do there job" one even made the comment they taking there time they get paid by the hour" this I'd ridiculous. And where not even busy

This is my preferred hospital. I think I know most of the folks in ER and diagnostics at this point, oh and up on the cardiac floor. They are all great! Short wait time and great responsiveness. And my daughter loves their cafeteria food. lol The only reason that I didn't put Excellent is because I had had a loop recorder removed 2 years ago here and the nurses/techs that assisted the doctor in the procedure should have had more gumption in standing up for what was right/wrong. Needless to say the surgery was the worst experience and the most painful surgery I have ever had. I had NO anesthesia whatsoever and should have. The doc kept saying the anesthesiologist would be there in a minute throughout the whole procedure. Numerous complaints had to be filed. But all of my other visits, and my ongoing care from THAT procedure, which was 2 weeks admitted, was excellent.

Zero stars, their ER medical triage it's a joke, the billing department will charge you what ever they want (you need review your bill asap) and they will get the money for sure taking you to court, all they care is about the money. I went to this hospital 3 times and they didn't find my problem, and they still took my money and sent me home , I went to Memorial Hospital and they found my problem, I had arrhythmia. Already taken care of..... thank you God.

Fantastic preop and Endoscopy team! I was treated with compassion and care from the front door/ registration all the way through recovery. Grateful to be able to receive great care right here in Las Cruces.
